OTL's getting good at this!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here!

What happened to the weather? Sunday it was super sun shine but today, windy, wet and a bit chilly!

Even Snowflake decided that she would stay at home instead of visiting the beach!

Holly has not been feeling too well, she has eaten something that has disagreed with her and upset her tummy.

It's a good job she can give one of her 'Loud Woofs' when she wants to go out 'cos it takes a Big Woof to wake up Old Two Legs from his slumber!

Well, she Woofed four times last night and when she came back in from the garden, there was OTL to wash her butt for her, all together now......aaaahhh!

We had a good run this morning, down to the beach, did what we had to then back to the car! It was windy, wet and decidedly not the weather for doggies!

Come On! Back Home!

We have, well OTL has, been playing with the YouTube link and we reckon he is almost there now and to prove it, here's a bit we missed from Sunday's video!

Miss Chuckles? That's not what he called her when she nipped him!

Lunch time we were down The Sea Wall again and the tide was right in, in fact it was at the very point where it turns and goes out again. I was walking along the wall and got splashed by some spray from a wave as it crashed against the wall!

It was one like this that splashed me!

Holly and OTL were laughing their tails off 'cos I couldn't see it coming!

OTL spotted a rabbit in the grass, just sitting there and we missed it all together!

If I sit still they won't see me at all!

We had seen some workmen digging holes and on our way back to the car we came across one of these holes full of concrete.

Holly said it would be a good idea if we walked over it so that our paw prints would be there for years and we would be famous!

We ran towards the hole and jumped in, trouble was, it was hard and dry and wasn't going to have Daisy & Holly Paw Prints for ever!

You can't win them all!

Ready, Steady..........Jump!

With a bit of luck, OTL may be playing with the Camcorder tomorrow!

Busy Busy and The Missus Returns!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back again!

Well, after yesterdays fun and games we have up loaded the video to YouTube, thanks PeeJay for the advice, and if you want to see the whole thing :-

Now I know that Old Two Legs has not got full control of the video editing program and somehow we seem to have chopped a bit off the end and replayed the bit where Snowflake crawls down his arm, but he will get better, promise!

Thanks to PeterC who explained the 'Bushy Tail' effect, you can see that she was in the 'Excited' mode and after a while she settled down. So, I can see more trips down to The Sea Wall for Snowflake, but only when the sun shines!

It was a bit 'breezy' this morning and even OTL had his hood up!  Mind you it was sunny, well, sort of, the sun was poking through the clouds and made a colourful splash across the estuary!

A Golden Morning

We met up with Max & Oscar and Max confirmed that his lump on the neck was a cyst and after getting a needle in his rump from the vet, it has all cleared up now! So, that was good news!

We got introduced to a new doggy called Teddy, he is a Westie and a little bit of a 'Pudding', well we were not too sure if it was his long coat or his waist line that made him look like a 'Pudding' !

Then, back home to wait for OTL to load the caravan up for a trip to the Service Department but before we left, The Missus arrived back from her baby sitting duties!

Well, both Holly and me almost ran out of 'Lick'!

It was good to have her back, but it also means that we can't have our 'Wild Nights' like we do when she's away!

After dropping the caravan off, we stopped off at the New Park for a run around, it made a change to go there and not get blown over by a howling wind!

Back home to catch up on our snoozing and see if OTL is worth mugging for his dinner!

Snowflakes First Outing!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you today!

Hasn't it been a super day? The wind had dropped right off and the sun has been shining all day!

OK, when we went out first thing there was frost on the windows and Old Two Legs had to scrape it off before we could go down to The Sea Wall.

We got back and OTL finished clearing up after last nights fun and games. Holly and I had a carrot each and, well, they do crumble a bit when you're chewing them but they dry up over night and then OTL gets the vacuum cleaner out and gets rid of the carrot crumbs!

About ten thirty, we got a bit restless, the sun was shining and all OTL was doing was playing on his computer, Snowflake had been for a run around the lounge and hid another of her squeaky toys where OTL can't find it and we were all getting bored.

So, I did the old 'Puppy Look' and finally he got the message, WALKIES!

Holly suggested it would be a good idea to take Snowflake, well it was warm, no wind and  the tide was in!

So, here is The Movie!

We want to know why the hair on Snowflakes tail stands up like it does? We can't do that and we think it looks great!

We have made another version of this video but it is 219 MB long and Blogger won't let us load it up!

Maybe over the next few days we will up load bits so you get to see it all, a sort of serial!

The Sun Shine is Back!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake!

Well, last night was fun, we had a super time after dinner, Old Two Legs got out his malt whiskey and a packet of shortbread. Snowflake brought down some Ferret Nuggets and we got the Little Biscuits that we keep in our bowl for nibbles during the day!

We had a great time, singing songs and telling jokes!

Then Snowflake suggested we have a Burping Contest and she beat us all, including OTL!

That ferret can sure make a loud noise when she wants to!

We woke up this morning after a great nights sleep, Holly was in my bed, I was cuddling OTL and Snowflake was snoozing in her hammock!

We spent some time cleaning up the house and ended up in the caravan checking things before going to the Caravan Service place on Monday.

Seems like we need a new set of lights on the front and maybe a new heater 'cos the electric heater has stopped working, the gas is OK but the electric has worn out!

However, the satellite television works and we sat in the best seats watching the TV while OTL checked everything else!

OTL took the camcorder out with us when we went for our walk and you know, the wind had dropped and the sun came out!

We had a super time on the beach and Holly nearly caught a rabbit, well, she got close!

What a Day!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake back with you again!

After yesterdays blog we see we will have to get Old Two Legs to do more video!

Mind you, after last night he may take a bit of persuading!

You see, OTL had a very early appointment in the morning, like quarter to seven! So he planned to get up early, take us for a walk and then off he would go.

Things didn't go all to plan, you see, we went to bed a bit earlier than normal but I got a 'Funny Tummy' and had to wake him up at one thirty to go out in the garden, then again at two forty five. Around three thirty, Holly spotted a fox in our garden and started the 'Puppy Patrol Woof', that's the 'Loud, Excited and Ferocious Woof' we reserve for Wolves and Foxes!

Then after all that, OTL's alarm went off at four forty five and he had to get up, which was OK 'cos no one could sleep 'cos Snowflake was bashing her feeding bowl around Snowy Heights 'cos she had eaten all her 'Ferret Nuggets' and wanted some more!

OTL didn't get much sleep and our early morning walk at five fifteen was a bit cold, dark and windy!

Back home we snuggled back down to a sleep when OTL left at six fifteen!

He came at ten thirty and after saying 'Hello' we were off for another walk along The Sea Wall.

It was still cold and windy and snowy!

...and now snow!

 We spotted some workmen up on the hill digging up the earth, not sure what they are doing, maybe some more seats so OTL can sit down half way around the walk!

Wot are they doing? Digging for rabbits?

OTL saw a Black Headed Gull hovering just above the waves looking for food, he said it looked like a helicopter hovering before landing!

Under Carriage Down!

After the walk, instead of going home, OTL took us down to the Poodle Parlour!

We were going to get washed!

I won't bore you with the details but it was wet, drafty and most undignified for a couple of sophisticated puppies like wot we are!

We were glad to be home again and we soon crashed out to catch up on our snoozing!

It is possible that OTL will go to bed early tonight, so we will have to give him a cuddle to help him sleep!

Thank you all for the kind words about yesterdays blog, yes, OTL is a 'Wheezer' when he starts running about, but that's because he is so old! 

Now, you should know that we don't actually carry the cameras, we have 'Trained 'Gofer's' to do all that, we're too posh stars to be bothered with all that stuff!

We will try to get more video of Snowflake 'cos she can be a bit of a 'Star' all on her own and the last time she was let out she was dancing and chuckling away to herself 'cos she is so happy to get out for a run!

As tomorrow is Saturday, we may get OTL to try capturing Snowflake doing more dancing and chuckling!

Is Snowflake a 'Star' in the making?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake again!

The weather just can't make up it's mind can it? One moment it is sunny and next, the wind tries to chop your tail off!

When we went out first thing this morning, it was cold and seriously bad wind chill even though the sun was shining! Holly and I didn't hang about too long, a quick chase along the beach and soon we were back in the car and on our way home!

Keeping Warm!

Old Two Legs got our Lambs Heart going in the cooker and gave us a good brush while we lay back sniffing the hearts cooking!

Best of all, OTL cut up the hearts and served them up, still warm and with some of the 'gravy' in the bottom of the cooking pot.

It was super, Holly and I were 'Tail Up & Nose Down' and we both finished it all off in one sitting!

Mind you, we've had cooked breakfast for two days running, so I reckon it must be 'Doggy Scoff' tomorrow!

Lunch time we were out again and the wind was still as strong blowing in off the sea. You could see the 'White Horses' being blown up on the incoming tide!

More White Horses!

Just before we came out, OTL opened the bottom drawer of 'Our Drawers' and we picked up a new ball, a white, bouncy, brand new, hard ball!

As soon as we were down there again I worried him until he got it out and threw it down the path. That's it, we were off again and this time even Holly joined in the chase!

We were both pushing and shoving and at one time Holly got the ball and pretended to loose it and then when we spotted it she challenged us to get it off her!

If you think your quick enough!

Well, I was, but OTL was too slow, again!

Mind you, Holly then found some old egg sacks and was throwing them up in the air and shouting......

On Me Head Cyril!

I was impressed with the height she got to when she jumped up, just like a ballerina!

Then she showed off by running all the way along the Wall of Death!

Yet Another Wall of Death Run!

Back home, OTL let Snowflake out of her house for a run around, well, he didn't lock the door properly to begin with and she opened it, fell out onto my Day Bed then ran off for a 'Ferret' around the rooms!

She hasn't got brave enough to go down stairs on her own yet so we couldn't really lose her and a few squeaks on her toys made her come running from inside OTL's card making room.

She wouldn't say if she had a poo in there or not and as you know, OTL has a very poor sense of smell and we're not going to tell on our mate Snowflake!

Well, after that OTL let her carry on running and after emptying the drawers in OTL's office and running amok with the glitter pot she got put back into Snowy Heights were she immediately fell asleep with a big grin on her face!

She has had a good time!

We reckon she may very well get another run down stairs this evening chasing the 'Squeaks' again!

OTL is now talking about trying to capture her chuckling on the camcorder, now that will be fun 'cos she doesn't always do it!

Holly says that if we run around going 'Chook Chook' we could pretend we were ferrets!

Squeaky Snowflake and some Sun!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly & Snowflake.

It has been a busy day today, first of all we had to wake Old Two Legs on time, just to make sure we hadn't gained or lost another hour. Lucky for us it was still that same time as last night!

We had a stroll along The Sea Wall but it got a bit windy, so, off we went to the Rabbit Bushes!

Off we go!

No rabbits!

They Were Here!

Back home for some Chicken & Biscuits and a game with OTL in the office! We were just about to have our morning snooze when the door bell went and who was outside? It was The Boys! They had come to pick up The Missus so she can do some Baby Sitting up in Birmingham!

We gave them a seriously good 'Welcome Lick' and jumped all over the chairs and rushed around the place!

Before long they had gone and we were left alone with OTL, that was a good excuse to go out again to The Sea Wall for a run on the beach and boy was it windy!

Sunny but Windy!

Holly found a Super Sniff on the path and stopped for a really good sniff and she refused to leave it alone!

A Seriously Good Sniff!

Back home again and Snowflake was rattling on the door of Snowy Heights, she wanted to come out for a run around!

So, she ran around the lounge and then tried chasing me! Before long OTL and her were playing on the landing, chasing the 'Squeaky Toys'.

OTL got the Camcorder out and Snowflake did her chasing!

Well, OK, so he's not an Alfred Hitchcock nor is he a Spielberg but Snowflake had some fun and she even got some glitter on her back!

She says she is planning to start card making classes with a twist, if you don't make a perfect card, she will bite your butt!

We are off to have some more chicken and then we are going to stay up late watching DVDs!

Time Travellers?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly & Snowflake here again!

We had the weirdest night last night, you see, we went to bed at our normal time, about half ten. Everything was as normal, Old Two Legs was snoring his head off and so was The Missus, then Holly started to snore and I just rolled over and went to sleep.

Now, we normally get up around six for a wee and then back to bed for our 'After Wake Up Snooze' but this morning, when we woke up, it was seven!

We have been teleported an hour into the future last night!

Now this has some serious implications! That means we would have missed our morning breakfast 'cos we would have been out for a walk the same time TM puts our breakfast out and if we don't eat it straight away, it gets taken away. So, if we're not there to eat it, Poof! it's gone!

You know, if this isn't put right we will have to get up an hour earlier every day, just to get fed!

We were still discussing our problem when we were walking along The Sea Wall and an Oyster Catcher said that we were lucky to get fed on time 'cos the tide was always changing and messing up his diner time by an hour every day!

Late Breakfast, Early Lunch, it's all the same to me!

As Holly said, 'It's OK when you know that it is going to change, but not so good when it surprises you without any warning!'

Lunchtime we met up with Max & Oscar & Pam. Oscar had got a cyst on his neck and it has taken a few visits to the vet to get him sorted out but he seems well on the mend, you can tell that 'cos he was all over OTL! 

Hello Girls, Hello OTL!!

 Besides Max & Oscar, there is Pam, she is getting on a bit and sometimes she can be a bit grumpy!

Today was no different, she was doing the old 'Woofing Trick', well that was until Holly took a look at her and said, 'My Oh My Pammy, that is the best coat I have ever seen, it takes years off you!'

Well, that was it, Pammy shut up, went all 'Little Puppy' and asked if it made her tail look nice and big!

Now I know that Holly can be crafty but that was the best yet! She is really a 'Silver Tongued Devil!'

Does My Tail Look Big?

 We went off along a path we hadn't tried before and Holly and I were on the look out for rabbits and missed the Pussy Cat sitting in the long grass waiting for a pigeon. OTL spotted him and didn't tell us!

Sssssssss!

 As we were a bit ahead of OTL we didn't hear it going Hiss at OTL, if we had, then that cat would still be running!

 The path was not very interesting 'cos it didn't lead anywhere and there were no rabbits! Just a few sniffs of doggies we already knew and one or two that were new to us!

OTL found it interesting 'cos he spotted some buds that had burst, OTL reckons that's because they are in the valley and are protected from the wind and get the warm sunshine!

Spring really is here!

 Back home OTL had a great game with Snowflake and her squeaky toys and he even took her out into the garden for a run around the pond. I think that as soon as the weather warms up we will be down The Sea Wall and Snowflake will see the sea for the first time!

That should be fun!

Fingers crossed for sun shine tomorrow and not time slips or teleporting tonight, we are confused enough as it is!
