Saturday and OTL starts Sneezing!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles again!

It has been super sunny again, no nasty bangs or scary lightening to upset Holly Dog!

Down on the beach Snowflake was straight into the sea weed. No sign of the Big Slimy Thing!

Brambles stayed on the beach and dug a couple of holes!

Spot The Ferret!

Holly and I had a 'Quiet Time' on the beach catching some rays! Holly said that she prefers the sun to the storms!

This is the way to do it!

Mr Brambles got onto the grass and did his 'Grass Shark' trick and rolled about all over the place! At one time he lay down and said that he was going to stay there all day!

Well, that's what he said but......................

I'm staying here today!

 Miss Snowflake heard him and she went over to 'Have a Word with Him'!

Get up or I'll bite your tail!

Then she gave him a good tickle to get him moving! After she finished he was flat out on the ground pretending to be dead!

That's it, I'm done for!

We all ignored him and we trotted on down the path leaving him behind! He didn't like that and shouted for us to 'Hang On'!

Hang On, I was Joking!

When we got back, OTL did all his chores and we all settled down for a snooze, except OTL.

He was out in the garden getting some weeds up and removing a lot of the ivy that was growing over the fence. In fact he has filled a 'Wheely Bin' full of garden rubbish and weeds. Now normally there is nothing too exciting about that, except, OTL suffers from Hay Fever and June is when the Grass Pollen starts to fly about and you can guess what gets up OTL's nose!

So, there he was pulling up the weeds, chopping down the ivy and sneezing his tail off all at the same time!

In the end he decided that as the bin was full, there was nothing else he could do, so he sat down with a relaxing glass of orange juice, feet up on one of the pond side rocks and watching the water fountains and the snails swimming around!

No sign of Trev and his mates, but we know he is there somewhere!

Once he had cleaned it all up we headed off to the beach again and unfortunately  the tide was out!

No swimming!

No sticks to 'Rescue'

No Water!

 Holly of course said that she didn't care that the tide was out, she was more interested in having a relaxing sit down on the Sea Wall!

This is better than gardening or swimming!

 OTL was playing with the camera so I decided to make him jump and I crept up and went Boo!

 Yep, that made him jump!

Back home we watched some F1 practise in Canada, they got sunshine there as well.

Doggy Scoff in our bowls, not exactly Haute Cuisine!

So, that's it for today, with a bit of luck OTL will get the Shortbread out tonight and we may even watch a DVD if there's nothing interesting on the TV.

A Busy Friday, for Some!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

And didn't it rain this morning! There was Thunder & Lightening and heavy rain and then Hail Stones that covered the whole garden with Lumpy Snow!

Holly decided to get up on the bed and have a cuddle with Old Two Legs until it all went away!

She wasn't shaking' like she does with the Whizz Bangs, but she was certainly 'Uncomfortable'!

By the time we were ready to go out it had all stopped and there was just the odd drops of rain!

Holly said that the clouds looked 'Menacing' and she just didn't like them! 

More Rain? More Thunder?

Holly decided that she didn't want to have a game on the beach and instead she lay down and said she was 'Watching The Storm'!

I don't like it and it looks very scary!

Mind you, the storm was over Essex and not returning to us but that didn't reassure Holly who said that it could come back if the wind changed!

More Storm Clouds!

We headed back to the car but the ferrets had a game in the wet grass and ended up all Wet & Soggy by the time they got into their cage!

We all had a good snooze while OTL was working but then he announced that he had to 'Go Out' to see one of his customers, so The Missus was charged with the responsibility of walking Holly and I.

What fun!

First we ran all the way down to the beach and managed to find a stick that was in desperate need of 'Rescuing'!

So, I rescued it!

Then I rescued it again, and again and again!

It was a great walk, I got Soggy and Holly had fun seeking out the sniffs!

OTL didn't get back until later, so he missed out on my Stick Rescue!

So, here we are looking forward to the weekend, TM is off to her Master Class and OTL has got an appointment with a rampant rose tree that has thrown out loads of suckers!

Trev Has Been Spotted!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here.

Wot a load of sunshine today!

It was shining at a quarter to five this morning, I know 'cos Holly was snoring so much she woke me up!

Both ferrets were in a playful mood this morning with Mr Brambles being beaten up again by Snowflake!

I'm sure he starts it and enjoys the attention when she gives him a wallop with her paw!

I mean, just look at this!

First of all he creeps up behind her and gives her tail a nip, she jumps around and goes for him and he falls on his back!

Oh No! I Surrender, Honest I do!

 Of course, she doesn't believe him and carries on sorting him out!

Please! Not the old 'Claw In The Ear' move, It Hurts!

 When she thinks he has been 'Sorted' enough she goes to walk away, only to have him start again!

Come on, Gissa Kiss Snowy!

It was like that almost all of the walk and there were times when Old Two Legs had to pick him up, just so we could get further along the path without them getting into another rolling match on the grass!

Back home we went into the garden and saw The Missus looking into the pond. Holly said TM was going to dive into the water but before we could say any more TM told us she had seen 'Three' Tadpoles!

Three? That means Trev has brought back a couple of friends from Sweden or maybe there has been a  few more tadpoles that have hatched from the frog spawn we got from Helen to put into the pond!

Holly and I spent most of the morning watching the pond but other that the snails blowing bubbles, we didn't see any more of Trev or his mates.

To be honest, both Holly and I fell asleep and missed a lot of action!

Lunchtime came and OTL was still pounding away on the keyboard, so we decided to get some fresh air into him, It's Walkies Time!

You know he does get so excited when it's time for walkies, we have trouble getting him to put his boots on he's that excited!

We got down to the beach and the tide was well in but not all the way. I considered a swim but it looked a bit muddy in the water and on top of that, it was just too windy!

We had a good run around and even said hello to a couple of youngsters who hadn't met up with us before. Of course, they were all over OTL like a rash!

We even managed to scare a couple of rabbits who did a dash into the undergrowth where we couldn't find them!

OK, Where did they go?

Best of all, we found this really good pongy sniff that just called out to us to roll in.

Trouble was, OTL was standing right behind us and gave both of us the Woofers Warning!

It really is just too much when an TL can speak Dog!

I think he is right behind us!

So that's it, we sort of got in trouble, found a sniff that will last until tomorrow for a roll and we have both had a good snooze after lunch!

TM has spotted Tadpoles and we are waiting for the frogs!

Do you think they taste like chicken?

A Mixture of a Day!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Wot a super Sun Shinny Day it's been today! After yesterdays gloomy weather it made a nice change!

Holly and I still have the Grumbly Tum but it doesn't seem so bad today and I even felt like eating my dinner! Holly, she had a sniff and decided to leave it until all other sources of food have been investigated. (Like, how much can we mug off Old Two Legs!)

I sort of got in trouble this morning 'cos as soon as I got out of the car I was away chasing rabbits, OTL was not a Happy Bunny 'cos him, the ferrets, and Holly, all wanted to go the other way!

He had to come back, after the ferrets had done a wee and got back in the bag, to get me on the lead.

He's a right old Grumble Guts sometimes!

There's a Rabbit here, I know there is!

 Down on the beach Miss Snowflake headed off to the sea weed for a quick wash and a wee!

No Peeking!

We were on the beach looking the other way anyway 'cos there was  the sound of two woofers having a 'Discussion' and it sounded like one woofer was getting the bad end of the discussion!

Then it all stopped!

Who the Woof was that?

We headed back for home but Mr Brambles was in a funny mood, he kept jumping at Snowflake and nibbling her tail!

She of course turned around and beat him up! Funny thing was, he was laughing all the time!

Oh! Help! I'm being tickled to Death by a Ferret!

After Snowflake had gone on ahead, he just lay there and said that he felt like it was just the place to have a snooze before carrying on!

What he really wanted was for OTL to pick him up and give him a cuddle!

Oh Dear! I just can't go on any further!

 Then, after a couple of minutes, he was wriggling to be put back down so he could chase Snowflake again!

Back home we had our 'Morning Snooze' 'cos we still haven't got rid of the Grumbly Tum and too much running about makes you sleepy!

Then it was lunchtime.

We got OTL out and this time he decided to take the Yellow Filter out with him 'cos the clouds were all sort of 'Fluffy' and he reckons he could do some 'Artistic' stuff!

So, first stop is the Breakwater, this is a bit boring really but on the other paw the yellow filter gives it some definition.

We have been here before!

While he was playing about, Holly and I found a stick and I managed to 'Rescue' it again!

I'm good at that!

Mind you, Holly didn't want to get her paws wet, so it was up to me to be all big and brave!

I've managed to rescue it but it was a close thing!

 I got told I was a 'Soggy Doggy' but didn't care 'cos I had been all big and brave by rescuing the stick!

Me? A Soggy Doggy?

It was then that we heard a big woof from on top of The Sea Wall, it was Merc!

Well, his full name is Mercedes, no, we don't know why they called him that but Merc just loves OTL and he gets a good stroke and a tickle under the chin, Merc, not OTL, when ever they meet!

Yo! OTL!

When we got to the bench, both Holly and I jumped up to see if there were any rabbits ahead of us, but the ground was clear, just a couple of pigeons waddling along the path!

OTL got all sneaky and switched on the flash and took this picture, not bad, mind you, I'm still soggy!

Back home to have a snooze until it was time to take the post to the Post Box and of course Holly and I just had to come along as well!

So, the weather looks good for the next few days so I'm looking forward to 'Rescuing' more sticks!

We Got The Grumbly Tum!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again.

Well, not such a good day today, Holly and I both have got Grumbly Tums! I don't know what it is that we have eaten that has caused it, but whatever it was, we have both eaten it!

Old Two Legs reckons it is something that The Missus has cooked 'cos he often gets indigestion after one of her cooking 'Experiments'. He reckons it is always a risk eating in our house!

We went out this morning for a walk but our heart wasn't really into it and the rain didn't help either!

Even the ferrets wanted to stay in the ferret bag and kept climbing up OTL's leg to get back!

No Thanks, Here is just fine for us!

Holly was looking for the sniff that has caused the Grumbly Tum but didn't find anything on the beach!

Well, it could be this one!

Both Holly and I have spent most of the day snoozing 'cos we reckon if you are asleep, the Grumbly Tum doesn't seem so bad!

OTL has been Manufacturing and finally, at about four thirty, packed it all into the car and headed off to the carrier.

Tomorrow it will be up in Aberdeen and in the customers works!

It's amazing that the load can make that trip and be in the North of Scotland yet when we go to the Isle of Mull, it takes two days!

Maybe next time we should all get in a big box and ship ourselves 'Overnight' to our holiday destination!

We are off for another snooze now, just in time to go to bed tonight and with a bit of luck, tomorrow the Grumbly Tums might have got better!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It has been another of those 'Boring Days', that is when Old Two Legs gets all busy and looks serious while we get some snoozing done!

This morning we were out with the ferrets, as normal, except that OTL brought his camera with him but forgot to switch it off Black & White!

Mr Brambles reckons that it suits him down to the ground 'cos as he says, 'I'm and Old Fashion Ferret at Heart'!

Miss Snowflake wasn't going to be branded as Old Fashion, she let it be known that she was a 'Modern Miss'!

I'm a Modern Ferret who hunts Slimy Things!

Brambles, not to be out done said that an Old Fashion Ferret had loads of fun and was allowed to roll in as many sniffs as he wanted!

And he did!

I just Love a Good Sniff to Roll In!

Back home we let OTL get on with his 'Manufacturing' while Holly and I discussed Poo.

Don't laugh, Poo is a very interesting subject for us woofers! Now, the other day we heard that Hamish had a Grumbly Tum from sniffing Green Sheep Poo!

We stay away from Green Poo, one time Mr Brambles was unwell and managed to produce Green Poo that was almost Luminous!

And didn't it Pong!

Mind you, when you know that a ferret is from the same family as a Skunk, that gives you a warning!

Also, the ferrets have the ability to let go a real stinker if they feel threatened. We remember when Miss Twinkle came to live with us for a few days while OTL found her owner. Well, she was about a year old and a little scared of being in a new home and when OTL let her and Brambles and Snowflake out for a run around the office, she got all worried and let one go that almost brought tears to OTL's eyes!

Let's hope that Hamish gets rid of the Green Grumblies soon and is back to rolling in sniffs!

Back to today, and at lunch time the rain had stopped and the sunshine had come out.

Down on the beach the tide was right in and it was warm, so I sort of suggested to Holly that we might just have a little paddle in the sea, she on the other paw, said that she was going to keep her paws dry!

No, My Paws are staying Dry!

OTL wasn't looking at what we were doing, he was playing about with the camera and setting it up on the breakwater. I got in trouble for running in front of the lens and he made me sit behind him until he had finished!

I'm Behind Him!

We then headed along the Sea Wall and challenged OTL to a race but he said he didn't feel like running!

Lazy OTL!

Come On! Race Ya!

We ran ahead and Holly went up on the Sea Wall for a sniff while I went in for a bit of a 'Deep Paddle'!

Well, actually it was a swim and I took a stick out with me, just in case I got told off 'cos I could say I was rescuing a stick from drowning!

Look! I'm rescuing this Stick!

OTL said I was a 'Crafty Madam' but he threw the stick in a few times for me to fetch back.

See, it works every time, let's face it, I couldn't get any wetter!

Then it happened, we lost the stick!

No, You had it Last!

Back home OTL gave me a good rub down and I went off to have a well earned snooze!

OTL went back to 'Manufacturing' and Holly retired to the sofa to sleep 'cos she said she wasn't feeling too good, another Grumbly Tum?

Let's hope it's not the Green Grumblies!

We get a card from Trev!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

You know Old Two Legs spotted a tadpole in the pond and The Missus named him Trevor? Well, we have been looking for him every time we go past the pond.

No luck!

We were getting a bit worried that either OTL was seeing things or Trevor had come to a sticky end in the beak of an amphibian eating bird!

What we didn't think of was what else could have happened to him!

Until TM told us about the post card she got yesterday!

It was from Sweden and it was from Trevor!

He was on his holiday meeting up with some distant relatives!

Holly said she has a feeling that there could be more tadpoles hiding at the bottom of the pond, and what will we call them when we finally find them?

Trev, Trevar, Trevino, Trevette, Trevor, Trevet? The list goes on forever!

I think we will just have to wait and see!

This morning it was raining when we set out for our walk but when we got to the car park the rain had stopped!

That was it, Holly and I were off chasing a rabbit while Snowflake and Brambles decided to finish their snooze in the ferret bag. 

OTL did get them out a couple of times, just to see if they wanted a wee but they were quite happy staying where it was warmest!

I'll stay here thanks!

 Down on the beach Brambles spotted young Bryn walking along the Sea Wall and gave Snowflake a warning 'cos we are not 100% sure he doesn't fancy a nibble of ferret for breakfast!

Hey Gang! I think That's Bryn on the Wall!

 Snowflake wasn't too interested in meeting Bryn so she headed for the Ferret Bag. What she does is to climb up onto OTL's boot and then scramble up the bag and into the big pocket!

It is always the same, as soon as she gets to OTL's foot wear she says..............

Bootyfull!

 Oh yes, what a wag!

Back home we had some Doggy Scoff in our bowl, which we left for later and headed off to the office for a snooze on our cushions while OTL gets on with his 'Manufacturing'

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and it was full of Two Legs, there was even one couple who offered Holly and me a nibble, it was horrid!

OTL says it looks like a cracker but it sniffed awful!

So that was it, No Strokes!

What the woof is that?

 Next we tried the fishermen, No Fish, No Sarnies, that's  it, No Strokes there either! Wot was worse, they were throwing the worm and a big weight into the sea, it was a good job I kept my eyes open!

Oi! Careful when you waggle that thing about!

 Back home OTL managed to finish some of the work and we will get the next delivery tomorrow, so it's back to work again tomorrow!

Tonight it is the paperwork to be finished!

Let's hope that he gets it all done before the next job!

Saturday alone with OTL.

Hi Woofers!

It's Us Again! Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Today we were woken up by The Missus very early, in fact, it was still dark!

So, being good woofers, we turned over and cuddled up to Old Two Legs and went back to sleep!

The ferrets didn't think much of that 'cos they were rattling the door on Snowy Heights and making so much noise that in the end OTL had to get up!

TM was off at seven to set up the tables and stuff in the village hall ready for the weekend of fun and games with the Card & Thong!

We headed off for our morning stroll  in the big car 'cos TM had pinched our normal transport!

When we got to the car park Holly and I headed off to search for rabbits while OTL got the ferrets out of the travelling cage!

Come On, Let Us Out!

It wasn't long before they were charging about and Snowflake was diving in and out of the sea weed!

Wee Finished, come and pick me up!

Back home OTL was busy 'Manufacturing' while Holly and I enjoyed our Chicken Breakfast!

The ferrets pinched some of our biscuits and then headed up stairs to pig out on their own ferret food! 

Only one thing to do after a meal, have a snooze!

Come lunchtime we had an appointment to drop into the Card & Thong gathering where we got made a fuss of, fed a little bit of sausage and generally got a lot of attention!

The ferrets  were doing the same thing but from OTL's arms 'cos he didn't trust them to not chase around and get into trouble!

We left them all to carry on and headed off to the beach again!

OTL took his camera with him but this time he put his 'Fish Eye' lens on so he could get some really 'Wide Angle' shots!

 Just for fun he switched over to Black & White and pointed the camera to the sky, It's not often you see OTL in a picture!

 It's amazing how it makes everything look vast and spacious!

 Mind you, it didn't help the fishermen we passed, they hadn't caught anything and finished up their sarnies as well!

No Fish, No Sarnies, No Strokes!

That was it, back home again to some more manufacturing while Holly and I had a game of 'Chase' around the garden!

Then we chased the pigeons  and a couple of sparrows off the bird feeders!

OTL was still 'Manufacturing' and on Monday there is even more 'Manufacturing' to be done!

So, we are now waiting for TM to come home before we head off to bed for our night time snooze!
