Holly has a Paddle!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and not forgetting Freddy de Ferret back here with you!

Well, what a fun day today, mind you, the Page 3 Girls are not in a good mood!

You see, Old Two Legs had the accountant here this morning so that means The Missus has to take us for a walk. She says that walking the woofers is OK by her but she wasn't too happy about taking the ferrets in case they ran off!

We got our walk along the beach but May and April had to stay at home.

May was not best pleased and has been showing off all day! She has been rattling the cage door every time OTL goes near her and poor little April has been hiding in her bed all day!

Lunchtime with the accountant gone OTL took Fred and Wendy out together with Holly and I.

It was just as well 'cos the tide was going out when we got to the beach but there was just enough water there to get my tummy wet!

Just made it in time!
As normal, Holly Chops turned her nose up at the idea of splashing about in the water!

OTL had brought the rubber ball and he threw it into the water so I could play 'Fetch'!

This was brilliant!

I was in and out of the water chasing the ball and having a great time!

Come on OTL, Do it Again!
Now, Holly doesn't 'Do' water and she stays well away but she does like chasing the ball, if only just to get it away from me!

OTL threw the ball, I chased after it. OTL threw the ball again and I chased after it again!

Then OTL threw the ball and Holly Chops forgot about the water and tried to chase it, until she remembered the water!

If you want it, come and get it!
I will admit, I spent some time teasing Holly by running close to her on the way out to the ball and also on the way back!

But always just out of reach!

Come on Porky Puppy, chase me!
Fred and Wendy thought it was great fun to see Holly getting wound up 'cos she couldn't have the ball!

Mind you, they had a great time digging in the wet sand so they could take advantage of the wet sand to cool their paws!

The deeper you go the wetter it gets!
That was all great and when we got back to the car there was a cool bowl of water waiting for us!

OTL is playing with the DVD player trying to get the 3D to work but for some reason it just ain't happening for him!

Dinner is on it's way so we are off now, see you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

We Love Mondays!

Hi Woofers!

Yep! It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

You know most of the Two Legs we know have a thing about Mondays, the beginning of the working week but not for us!

We love Mondays!

You see we get go down to the seaside and there is no problems about parking the car, there are just one or two TL's wandering about and there are our Woofer mates off the lead as well!

Down on the sand Holly and I dug some holes then had a good roll in them, until that little bundle of fighting fury decided to take over the hole just for her to have a roll!

A Tailor Made hole for a Fighting Ferret!
Miss April said that May was just showing off and anyway it was better in the bag!

Stop showing off Sneaky Knickers!
Back home it was a lazy morning, OTL had some stuff to get down to the carrier and he had to put some more petrol in the car.

We decided to let him go off on his own to do all that 'cos we didn't fancy sitting in a hot car waiting for the petrol tank to be filled!

When he came back we were straight out again and down the beach. I was hoping that the tide would be in but when we got there the tide was well on it's way out and all there was to see was wet mud!

Freddy didn't mind 'cos he is into rock climbing and had a great time ferreting around the rock wall!

Look! No Crampons!
Miss Wendy had a little paddle in the mud and dragged the lead through the sand as well making it look a right mess!

Don't worry, it will dry and fall off by the time we get back to the car!
Freddy reckons that the walk at lunchtime has helped him get his body in trim!

When he first arrived he was a bit of a Pudding and his tummy spent more time on the floor than his paws!

Now look at him, he still has a bit of a tummy but that is a good thing for a Ferret Hob!

Do I look good or wot?
One of the good things is that when the ferrets run on the concrete surface it grinds down their claws to the correct size. Of course, Miss April's claws are a little long 'cos she spends so much time in the ferret bag but Old Two Legs has been cutting claws for the ferrets since Miss Snowflake arrived. It's wonderful what a cap full of Ferretone will do help settle a ferret for nail clipping!

We hear that OTL has got 'Bangers and Mash' tonight so Holly and I are getting ready for some mugging!

OTL still hasn't done the bathroom floor yet, he has been given a small rest before getting his ear bent again!

Tomorrow we got visitors but I think that Wednesday is Flooring Day!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

A Lazy Sunday on the beach.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, I don't know what it is like where you are but here it has been a super day, loads of sunshine and a few more medals at the Olympics!

Miss April decided to get out of the ferret bag and have a little dig in the sand! She said it made a change to get some sand in her whiskers and her paws!

Out of my way, the sand is calling me!
Miss May joined in as well and the pair of them were soon ploughing up the beach with their noses!

What we need is a JCB Digger!
There was a little fracas this morning when Old Two Legs was cleaning the cages. He had done May and Aprils cage and had put them back but he forgot to close the bottom door.

He then let out Fred and Wendy and they dashed off as they normally do. OTL went downstairs but was called back by a large amount of crashing and screaming!

He got back up to the office in a couple of bounds and found that May was in battle with Wendy who had decided to investigate Mays cage.

Both ferrets were locked together and getting into the Ferret Death Roll and also soaking wet where they had fallen or got thrown into the water bowl!

OTL separated them but suffered a bite from May who tried a parting nip on Wendy but ended up sinking her fangs into OTL's thumb!

A lesson learnt for OTL, make sure the doors are shut and locked!

No real harm done and the only one to shed blood was OTL!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again but it was so crowded with visitors that OTL spent all the time watching out for loose woofers!

Of course, there were loads of Two Legs who wanted to look at the ferrets and tickle them and hold them and finally, have their photo taken holding a ferret!

It was good to get the occasional five minutes to ourselves!

OK, that lot can clear off and let me have a walk!
Holly decided that as it was the ferrets the TL's wanted to see, us woofers were being left out on the attention front. So, Holly volunteered to act as 'Security Guard' and would woof off any one who came close!

Step back there, Step back!
As we headed up the grass path Holly took point and kept away the visitors while I acted as 'Backup' just in case of any trouble!

OK, the way ahead is clear, keep up!
It has been rather warm so when we got back to the car both ferrets almost jumped into the water bowl!

Oooo! We needed this!
Although they had a good drink, the fact they are smaller than us they didn't drink all the water and there was enough left for us!

OTL has been told he has 'Steak and Chips' tonight.....................sounds good to us!

See you tomorrow, we are off for a bit of serious mugging!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Vet Results and another hot day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

You will be pleased to hear that the vet was impressed with April yesterday. Although she has lost weight, which is down to her condition and the fact it is Summertime when ferrets tend to loose weight. However, the vet was almost surprised she was still with us! He put it down to good care and the medicine.

The fact she has lasted so long means that she could go on for a while longer, which to us is all good news!

Miss May went with April to hold her paw and give her some confidence and she got inspected by the vet as well!

Now May has got a couple of scabs on her back where April and her play fight and April has grabbed May around the back of the neck.

The vet thought that it was some sort of insect setting up home and on checking, relieved May of two scabs!

It was nothing but a 'War Wound' and we found one on April as well!

Old Two Legs knew they were there and normally leaves them to drop off naturally but I supose the vet was looking to earn some more money for a 'Minor Operation!

So, we got another stash of medicine which will keep April going for another five months!

Down on the beach this morning May had fun charging up and down the shore line and dipping her paws in the water!

I see the sea but it can't catch me!
It was beginning to get warm and Holly decided to have a rest on the beach. Well, that was until May decided to sneak up on her and grab her tail!

Just one more step and POW!
The whole game was spoilt 'cos I started to shout that I had seen a monster. The pair of them jumped up to get a better look and Holly said that if the monster got me, not to worry 'cos she would eat my dinner!

Yeah! It's chicken today...........Now, where is the Monster?
Of course, I was just joking and it was really a lump of sea weed floating on the surface!

Anyway, there was no way I was going to let Holly Chops have my dinner!

Look! It's a Weedy Monster!
Just to finish it all off, Old Two Legs took a picture of me swimming with the Fairies!

Me and the Sparkly People!
Wendy and Fred came out at lunchtime and had fun diving in and out of the shady bits of grass all the way back to the car!

Too many Two Legs today, you can tell it's the weekend!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

It's been Hot Today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

It has been a hot day today down here in North Kent! In fact it was a trifle warm last night and Holly and I headed off downstairs to sleep on the sofa!

I was glad that the tide was on it's way in 'cos as soon as I got to the beach, I was straight in for a super cool splash about!

I should get an Olympic Medal for this!
Miss May was hell bent on digging a deep hole 'cos she reckons that it would be cooler down the bottom of a wet damp hole.

Yeah, I know but it's a 'Ferret Thing'!

I should get a medal for hole digging!
Old Two Legs has been 'Processing' orders this morning so we didn't see to much of him until lunchtime when he dived off in the car to take the parcels down the carrier, without us!

A little while later he came back and tried to tell us that it was too hot in the car and we wouldn't have liked it!

I bet he hasn't tried driving along with his nose out of the window catching the sniffs!

Down on the beach we met up with a visitor who was hunting all the sniffs. He tried to get us to tell him where all the good ones were but as Holly says, 'You gotta be a member of The Gang to get that information'!

If we told you that the we would have to bury you in the sand!
Tomorrow The Missus is off to her Master Class and OTL has been instructed on installing the new floor! So, I can see that we will be snoozing the day away, except for when we are out chasing sniffs!

OTL is just getting ready to take Miss April down the vet for an inspection and some more medicine and he is already sobbing as he is cuddling his credit card!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Up comes the floor, again!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back with you!

Wot a fun day it's been!

Now, Old Two Legs has been working hard today. The bathroom floor had to be taken up again ( the third time) in his search for a leaky water pipe in the heating system. The first time was when the ceiling fell down because of a leak that had been going on for years. The second was to install a new heating system and the third is to search for the reason why the heating system looses pressure over a eight week period!

Well, the floor came up and then the floor boards came up and OTL was under the floor looking for damp patches.

He couldn't find any.

He turned the heating up full and searched again.

Nothing.

Then he went all over the system from top to bottom, still nothing!

Finally he got back to the main heater unit and checked all the joints he could find, still nothing.

Finally he was checking the bleed points and on one he found he could do up the cap a quarter turn. Then to check, he turned it back and some hot water came out. So, he turned it back to tighten it up again.

It is possible that the length of time it takes for the system to loose pressure, eight weeks, and the amount of air that would need to get into the system, he thinks it is possible he found the cause!

But, we won't know for at least eight weeks!

That leaves the bathroom floor. Having taken up all the tiles he now has to lay another tile flooring, the third flooring!

So, we know what he will be doing this weekend!

It also means we won't be getting the walks and attention we normally expect to get when The Missus goes out to her Master Class!

We were expecting the accountant today as well, unfortunately he had to call off his visit until next week but didn't tell OTL until TM had taken us out for our walk.

May and April were not pleased 'cos they missed out on their morning walk. You could tell that 'cos when OTL let them out of the cage they were bounding about all over the place!

Lunchtime was OK as OTL took us, Fred and Wendy down to the beach for our normal walk.

Holly and I were discussing a bit of Dig and Whizz when Freddy came up behind us and said he had been warned by May and April that we were full of crafty tricks!

Oi! I know what you two are up to!
Oh well! Back to scraping the sand and rolling in the sniff!

This afternoon TM took OTL down to B&Q to get a new set of tiles for OTL to lay. She had to go 'cos she wanted the correct colour and because of her Crafty Skills she knew what colour goes with what. OTL on the other paw goes on the 'Two Choice' plan.

Light or Dark?

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

We see Storm Clouds.

Hi Ho Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

We have been busy today, well Old Two Legs has been playing with sheets of paper and mumbling all day!

I'm glad us woofers don't have Tax Forms to fill in, can you imagine it, accounting for every Bonio Biscuit we get!

Terrible!

Still, the accountant is due tomorrow and that may be the end of it all, until next year!

To give Old Two Legs a break we took him out for the morning walk and dig on the beach.

April and May were first to decide on the place for their hole, in the soft sand!

OK, this is a good spot!
Miss April sat down while May got going with her claws! There was sand and shells flying all over the place and pretty soon she had a respectable looking hole!

....................and now just a little off that side and we are done!
Now what May and April didn't notice was that both Holly and I were digging together in the same hole and of course we had a very deep hole in no time at all!

Then May saw what we were doing and came over to complain that we were cheating! Us?

Hey Bozo's! That is cheating!
Holly and I were in 'Maximum Mode' and chose not to hear May and instead we just carried on digging.

That was until May got very close and shouted at us!

Oi! Cheats!
OK, so we were a little 'enthusiastic' but it was such a wonderful hole!

Back home OTL got all miserable again and said he wanted to go away on holiday and forget the Tax Form!

Lunchtime came and he was still working and even me jumping up and bashing the back of the office chair didn't move him!

It was only when Freddy woke up and rattled the cage door did OTL agree to a walk!

Down on the beach we all had a sniff around the shore and kept an eye open for Nargles!

No Nargles here!
One thing we did notice was the dark clouds overhead. They looked like horrible stormy type of clouds, the sort that dump loads of rain on you when you aren't looking!

Well, we were looking and decided that we wouldn't hang about too long!

Even Freddy Boy waddled along all the way back to the car!

Loads of water up there!
When we got back home all us woofers retired to our sleeping beds and snoozed the afternoon away!

Who said 'It's a Dogs Life'!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Happy Birthday April & May!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss April, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Well, today marks the day when May and April came to live with us! We have decided that this day would be their birthday 'cos they didn't know how old they were!

We reckon they are between three and four years old but we can't be sure!

To celebrate Old Two Legs gave them some extra nibbles and he opened a new bag of Ferret Bits that not only taste nice (I like them too) but they help stop fur balls!

We all sang happy birthday to them when OTL brought the breakfast up and they both had a good run around the office before going out for the morning walk!

Today OTL has been working on the Tax Return and has been a right Grumble Guts!

That didn't stop us from going out at lunchtime with Fred and Wendy and when we got to the beach they both went for a paddle down near the sea weed!

It's a bit cooler down here!
Miss Wendy was having a great time climbing all over the sea weed that was growing on a rock.

This sniffs super, just like a Nargle!
Holly said that it was the drainage water that she could sniff and then went to the drain to compare sniffs!

Hellooooooooo!
The best bit was when Holly woofed up the drain and got an echo back!

Freddy and Wendy were up the top of the Sea Wall when Holly did her Helloooooo bit and they reckon they could feel Holly's voice through the concrete slabs!

Feel That? Is it her big voice of just her big mouth!
We have seen some dragonfly's over our pond, so with a bit of luck we will have baby dragonfly's in a couple of years or so. We have seen the young dragonfly larvae in the pond and we all agree that they look ugly!

Still, at least we can see them, those frogs are so scarce that reckon they have all gone back home again!

This afternoon OTL has been working on the caravan 'cos we reckon the water heater has gone phutt!

Every time he switches it on the RCD switch triggers and it even shuts down the RCD switch in the house!

More expense coming up as he has to bring in the caravan mender man!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss April, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

P.S. It will be Freddy's birthday next Monday!

Lots of Sun!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here with you again!

It has been a super day today, we were out early this morning 'cos Old Two Legs had to find a new place to park the car.

The council have dug up the lane that leads to the car park so they can lay a new covering of tarmac. Now that means we have to find a new car park and OTL has found an 'Overflow' car park across the other side of the park. That means a diversion through the village!

Miss April has an appointment made with the vet for Friday afternoon. She needs a new stock of medicine and the vet wants to give her the once over. Miss May will be going with her to give her support and we have told them to watch out for those sharp needle thing the vet likes waving about!

OTL has been working on the Tax Return today, it's a job he hates and tries to off load it to the accountant but he still has to supply more information than the accountant has. Poor OTL he just hates anything to do with accounts and book keeping!

Down on the beach at lunchtime Holly and I spotted a ship heading towards the river Medway and we were discussing what it was.

Fred and Wendy were complaining that they couldn't see the ship and said that we were lucky to have longer legs than them!

OTL took a 'Ferret Level' photo from a slab of concrete just to show what they could see!

A 'Ferret Level' view!
Holly said that they shouldn't worry 'cos she could tell them all about the ship!

You don't see much from this height!
The ship came steaming up the estuary and we decided it was one of those 'Balast' ships that suck up the sand or stones off the sea bed.

Anyone want some stones?
When we got to the bench we had a rest for five minutes and Freddy decided to crawl into the ferret bag for a small snooze!

This the life!
Miss Wendy decided to sit on OTL's lap and make the best of the shade. She reckons that watching to world go past from that height was just the best, except when she climbs onto OTL's shoulder!

You can see for miles up here!
A little while later Freddy poked his head out of the bag and declared that he was 'Ready to Go'!

OK, I'm ready, let's go!
Both ferrets walked back to the car and enjoyed a cooling slurp of water from the water bowl. Holly and I let them go first then when they got back in their cage we dived in!

Not sure what OTL has tonight but you can guarantee that we will have a nibble of whatever it is!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

The Magnificent Seven!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

What a super day it has been down here. The sun has been shining all day today. Up north in Scotland they look like they have had torrential storms!

There was some cloud this morning but it soon got blown away on the wind!

Morning in Isle of Grain.
The ferrets and I were having a dig on the beach while Holly was sitting on the Sea Wall. May was deep in a hole while April was sniffing the sea weed.

Without me knowing the gang turned up! First of all young Marley came bounding along the sea wall and was all over Old Two Legs like a rash!

Yo! OTL!
Then, one by one, they all turned up. There was Oscar and Max then Bryn, followed by Boo and Poppy who sat down in front of OTL while he took her picture!

Do I look good or wot?
In the end there were seven woofers, including Holly, sitting on the Sea Wall having a 'Meeting'!
The Magnificent Seven!
I stayed on the beach 'cos I was more interested in sniffing than posing!

Lunchtime it was Freddy and Wendy's turn and although it was quite warm Freddy decided that he would catch up with his tan and get a few rays on his tummy!

and a few rays onto my paws as well!
Of course, it was really warm and when we got back to the car we were all in need of a cooling drink of water.

Holly and I let the ferrets go first 'cos they don't have any way of regulating their body temperature in this warm weather where Holly and I stick our tongues out and pant!

Let us know when you ferrets have finished!
Back home we all crashed out for a snooze before getting ready to mug OTL for some of his dinner which is going to be gammon steak!

Yum! Yum!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
