Stormy Weather!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

No snow today, just wind and a chill!

We caught Freddy having a wee on the beach! He said that it was OK while he was in the warm cage but as soon as that wind blew up is tail he then really needed a wee!

I know what he means!

A Ferrets gotta go when a Ferret's gotta Go!
He was below the high tide mark so it didn't matter, the sea would be in soon to wash it all away!

The wind was coming from the North East and when it does, that normally means cold!

Holly was saying that it will get colder when the tide comes in and maybe we would even get some snow!

I'm sure I can sniff snow on the wind!
Lunchtime we brought May and Eric down to the beach. The tide was almost right in and the wind was stronger than this morning.

We certainly knew it was a stronger wind and it was still coming from the North East!

But, no snow!

There were no new sniffs on the beach and Freddy's wee had been washed away!

I don't know who that is but it's not a 'Freddy'!
I sat down on the sand to watch the waves crashing onto the beach, it was then that I decided that I wouldn't go in for a swim, I'll wait for Summer!

Not only is it wet, but it looks woffin' cold!
Holly agreed and was soon heading back towards the car!

I know where there is a warm car heater and I'm off to find it!
One of the good things about the cold weather is that the ferrets don't hang about!

Miss May was straining at the lead like a Husky pulling a sledge! Eric was running as fast as his little legs could go and he only asked Old Two Legs a couple of times for a lift.

As soon as we reached the bench on the hill, Eric was off like a Ferret on Fire! He shoved Holly out of the way and was almost dragging May along as well!

Back home we all snuggled down for a snooze in OTL's office where we keep our 'Day Bed', it's a super thing to do on a Sunday!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Snow? Wot Snow?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a disappointment! The weather men said it would be snow and cold and windy.

Instead there was a little wind, a bit of cold but no snow!

The ferrets showed of good and proper!

May and Eric wanted to see the snow fairy but as Eric said 'Snow? I've seen more dandruff on a sparrows bum!

I said I couldn't comment 'cos I've not got that close to a sparrows backside!

This is a Sparrows backside?

Eric went looking for some real snow but when we got to the beach there were some white bits but not enough to make a snowball!

Hardly a Snow Drift!
We were all rather disappointed, we haven't had any real snow at all this winter, still, there is still time.

Old Two Legs says his boots are super, no holes for the water to get in!

Lunchtime OTL let Wendy and Freddy stay in the cage instead of going for a walk. They didn't want to wake up and as it was a little chilly and worse in the wind, it seemed the kindest thing to do!

OTL has been busy watching the Italy- Ireland rugby match which certainly seems to be going Ireland's way!

The England-Wales match is due to start around four so he will miss the first bit 'cos he has to pick TM up from the village hall Still, we will let him know if there is any interesting bits!

It was good to see Sue yesterday, we thought you had forgotten us!

Best of luck for Michael when he goes into hospital early next week!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Grey Day with a bit of wind!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

They are here! Yep! Old Two Legs new boots arrived today all the way from Apeldoorn, Netherland!

OTL says that Apeldoorn, Netherlands is across the sea and down a bit!

Impressive or wot?

They didn't arrive in time for the morning walk so he had to wear the old ones where the sole and the uppers were not talking to each other on the right side of the heel!

Not that it mattered, he wasn't going to go paddling in puddles or wet stuff like that.

No rain and no snow but he did spot a couple of drops of sleet whizz past his nose. I don't think we will see the Snow Fairy at all, which is a bit of a shame 'cos the ferrets say they would love a rampage in some deep snow!

Seriously Grey Day!
All we got was grey clouds and mist and a wind that came in straight off the sea. It was OK when you were walking into the wind but it was a bit of a blast when it was blowing up yer tail!

Lunchtime we found that 'Thing' again and this time it was standing up on it's end.

Holly reckons it didn't want to be wee'd on again by Eric!

Come on Eric, wee over the top!
Both Eric and May did some investigations and decided it wasn't worth weeing on 'cos there were no doors, wheels or anything of interest!

A quick sniff and they left it on the beach for the tide to wash out to sea!

I've already had a wee, what about you trying?
Tomorrow The Missus is off to one of her Master Classes and we think it may be the last before she heads off to U.S.A. All her ladies will have to suffer until she comes back!

Mind you, I bet when she comes back she will have some wonderful ideas about using inks and stuff in new ways!

Holly says that instead of putting all the stuff on paper, she'll slosh it all over her face to look like a 'Native American', or Red Indian to you and me!

OTL has been ordering some food on-line for him for when TM is away. Holly says that TM will be getting a stock of stuff in for us woofers, let's hope it's not a ton of Doggy Scoff!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Eric is into all sorts of trouble today!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It's getting proper chilly in the mornings now, I have even started to cuddle up to Old Two Legs when he is asleep so I get the warmth from his back! Holly is a bit further down resting her head on his leg!

The only problem we have is when he gets up, it gets a bit colder!

OTL has his breakfast in the office with May and Eric who enjoy a rampage around all the nooks and crannies between all OTL's stuff!

One bag has taken young Eric's interest of late, the bag of Cat Litter. It's the stuff OTL puts down in the cages for the ferrets to wee and poo on.

They are not always as tidy as OTL would want them to be and especially Eric!

He has a habit of kicking the cat litter all over the place!

Eric has discovered where the cat litter is kept and has taken to diving into the bag and having a 'Dig'!

The digging has to go somewhere and the carpet is the nearest place!

It's just in case I want a wee, honest!
It was certainly chilly down on the beach and Freddy found out that the 'Thing' looked like it had a back door! He started to do some excavating but couldn't find the door, just a brick wall!

No, still no sign of a door!
When we came back at lunchtime Miss May had a sniff and said that Freddy had been there!

She knows his sniff!

Those ferrets have an amazing nose for sniffing!

OK, someone has been digging and I can sniff Freddy as well!
Eric said that Freddy shouldn't mess with Mays 'Thing' so, just like us woofers Eric left a 'Message' for Freddy!

Look! I can do a wee standing up!
Tomorrow is Friday and we are expecting OTL to get his new boots delivered by the carrier. Holly says that we should all 'Christen' his boots by doing a wee on them!

Yeah, Right!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

The Big Car is back!

Yo Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's getting a bit chilly down here. We saw that snow 'Flurries' are a possibility but not in our area, but it is still getting cold!

Freddy and Wendy said they would have rather stayed in bed but once they got running on the beach they soon warmed up!

Unfortunately,  it was all Sea Mist and cloud, so no bright colourful things to photograph!

Why is it so grey?
Back home Old Two Legs was getting stuff sorted for The Missuses trip to the U.S.A. he was talking to the bank to get a 'Marker' put on the credit card so the alarm bells wouldn't ring the first time she used it!

Then there was the mobile phone to get sorted so she can use it for calls, SMS and Data!

It all sounded rather technical to us but it's something that Two Legs do when they go abroad!

Mind you, we don't have this problem when we got to Scotland for our holidays!

Maybe there is a lesson there!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and this time it was Eric who was giving the 'Thing' a good 'Inspection' and he decided that it wasn't a mobile home 'cos it didn't have any wheels!

.........and the steering wheel is missing too!
Holly and I were playing on the beach. We both dug a hole in the sand, one down one end of the beach and the other was down the other end of the beach.

We would both have a dig in our own hole, then, run like the clappers down to the other hole and have a dig there. Then we would rush back to our hole and remove some more sand.

Now this was OK, right up until Holly forgot which hole she supposed to be digging.

I told her to 'Clear Off' and she replied that I didn't know my 'ole from my tail..................

.................and that's when the fight started!

My Hole!
OTL decided that it wasn't worth his time to intervene and left us to fight it out!

When we got home the repairers had telephoned to say the big car was ready for collection. OTL had sent the car off to have some bodywork done where we were attacked by a Yorkshire Stone Wall and a couple of other scratches caused by TL's with shopping trollies.

We headed down into town and were looking forward to riding home in the big car with the heated seats switched on but TM drove off with us in the back of the Little Car!

We froze all the way home!

It's a hard life being a woofer, they just won't let us drive cars!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Mobile Home?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a change of a day! It started off very misty and foggy down on the beach, in fact, Old Two Legs left the camera in the car 'cos he just couldn't see anything to photograph!

Not to worry, we all had a sniff and a gentle walk back to the car.

What a difference at lunchtime, the sun sort of crept around the side of the clouds and the tide was out.

Miss May found her 'Posing Rock' that she has enjoyed several sniffs.

Looking Good Miss May!
Another thing we spotted was the house May saw yesterday, the one she reckons she could dig out the sand and make a good house.

Well, it had moved!

It was half way down the beach yesterday but today it was right up the top of the beach.

Wow! Says May, it's a Mobile Home!

Now all she needed was a motor to tow it!

How many beds?
On the way back to the car Eric asked for a lift and was sitting on OTL's shoulder when we came across a couple of strangers having a wander along the path.

Of course, there were the normal questions and Eric was getting a little twitchy 'cos OTL was spending too much time talking about ferrets.

So, Eric stuck his tongue in OTL's ear and gave him a little lick to get him to stop talking.

OTL carried on talking.

That was it, Eric decided that OTL needed a bit bigger hint and grabbed OTL's ear with his teeth!

That got him moving and there wasn't too much blood!

Actually, it was just a little drip, not enough to wet his finger!

Back home we had fun watching OTL swinging about on the top of a ladder, doing some maintenance of the Weather Machine then after that he cleaned the gutter out 'cos it was full of moss from the roof!

After that he was resetting the camera in the front of the house 'cos a daft Collared Dove flew into it.

We know it was a Collared Dove 'cos it left a few feathers on the camera and on the ground!

After all of that he found his boot had split and was letting in water! I can see another pair of boots heading this way!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

May finds a new home!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

It was a strange looking view across the river this morning. All misty and no wind at all, just a sort of ethereal photo that Old Two Legs loves!

Ethereal or Wot?
We were a little late in getting down to the beach so we didn't see anyone at all!

Freddy manage to walk almost all the way back to the car, he only got a carry up to the bench on the hill but  was soon back onto the ground and tearing through the grass!

Back home it was all fun and games as OTL was cleaning the cages. He found one of those squeakers you get in rubber balls. He then started blowing so that Eric would come racing from where ever he was, looking for the ball that was squeaking. Of course, OTL stopped blowing as soon as Eric got close!

Poor Eric was going potty looking for the squeaker!

Lunchtime was fun 'cos the tide was out and and there was loads of room to run up and down the beach!

Miss May was full of it 'cos she was digging holes, rolling in the hole and then laughing her tail off!

Ooh! It gets right up your back!
Then, suddenly, she stopped rolling in the sand and pointed up the beach, 'Wotsat?' says May.

Wot?
Being a ferret means you are always investigating stuff. So, both Eric and May are all over this new thing that had arrived on the shore.

No one had any idea what it was called but there seemed to be an opening in the top that may have been front door, but without the door!

If we dig the sand out there could be a sleeping room down there!
OTL said that it looked very interesting but maybe not big enough to be a Ferret House!

May said that it could be a 'Totally Underground House'!

Just think how big the bedroom could be!
Both ferrets had fun digging in and around the thing but in the end decided that the Travelling Cage had a nice warm, soft bed like cushion that may just be a little better than the beach!

Back in the car, both ferrets dived into the water bowl for a well earned drink and Holly and I had to wait until the had finished before we could jump back into the car!

All we need now is a slurp of Ferretone!
Being Monday, OTL has been busy getting the orders out and down the carriers. Holly and I decided that we would catch up on our snoozing while he was down the town.

So, Eric is making plans to have another look at the thing on the beach and see if he could make anything out of it!

We loved the tale of the bread slices and the snaffling as done by Archie Babe. We know what it's like, having a chew on something that you just know might make you 'Tom & Dick' but you just can't help it.

These Two Legs do the same thing but instead of eating, they drink stuff!

It's all good fun at the time, but the next morning?

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Eric shows off!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Now, Sunday is always a fun day, you know, no real working, just the normal wander around the house searching for nibbles hidden by the ferrets!

Loads of strangers walking up and down the Sea Wall, a few strange woofers to woof at and loads of Two Legs looking at the ferrets and asking , 'What are they?'

Over sized rats!

Holly and I did our best to get rid of any woofer who looked like they would get too close to Wendy and Freddy!

We don't want any trouble so we make sure there is a good space between the ferrets and any strangers!

Well, I don't see any more woofers! Looks like a 'Good Job'!
Back home we had fun with Eric by telling him there were loads of woofers on the beach and he wouldn't be able to dig any holes.

That wound him up and he spent an hour rattling on the cage door demanding he be let out to 'Sort Out' the woofers!

After an hour he got fed up and crawled into bed with May. Thirty minutes later Old Two Legs was getting his coat on to take us out again. Poor old Eric, he was half asleep and sort of missed out on the excitement of getting his harness on and being put in the travelling cage!

Eric has still to learn how to pace himself!

Down on the beach, while Eric was trying to wake up, Miss May was joining Holly and I in a 'Sniff Search'.

There was a super sniff somewhere close but we just couldn't find it!

Look it can't come out of three different places!
Holly wandered off down the beach while May and I carried on searching, but we just couldn't find it.

Well, I guess we are beaten this time!
Now, Holly chops had gone off to search and had followed the sniff down the beach. She had a little dig, had a little sniff, dug some more, had another sniff and then dug a little more.

Then she got fed up and sat down on the pile of sand next to the hole.

Little did she know, the last bit of sand thrown up from the hole was almost all sniff, coated with sand!

Holly sat down.

Holly sat down on the sniff and wriggled her butt so the sand pile made a good seat, then she wriggled some more.

Holly now had a seriously large patch of 'Sniff' stuck to her butt and all around her tail!

Oh Dear!

Wot a sniff, wot a smelly woofer, wot trouble she was in!

All the way home in the car we all stayed well away from her and OTL even opened the window so the sniff wouldn't hang around in the car!

A Sunday Holly will remember!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly de Sniff, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Rugby, Rugby and Game Of Thrones, YEAH! RESULT!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a super Saturday this is.

We started off with a walk this morning and Freddy was showing off with his 'Tracking Signs'!

This means 'Straight Ahead'!
Miss Wendy joined in and copied Freddy 'cos she wanted to go straight back to the car for a snooze!

We took The Missus off to the village hall with all her gear then headed back to get all the cage cleaning done before any of the rugby started.

I kept an eye on the clock so we could get our lunchtime walk before the Scotland-Ireland match started!

This is me doing the 'Time for Walkies' look!
Just for a change, there was no rain in our part of the world and it wasn't too cold either!

Eric and May had great fun in the Sea Kale.

Miss May has got something about Sea Kale, she just loves to scrunch up a leaf and give it a good roll.

Eric seems not to have the same desire to sniff of Sea Kale but he joins in just to keep May happy.

Ooh! Bliss!
Mind you he does get a little confused sometimes, which gets him into trouble!

Gerroff! I said BLISS, not KISS!
It was all good fun and on the way back to the car we came across a Two Legs flying one of those 'copter Drones that makes a terrible sound. So much was the noise that both Holly and I went into 'Howling Mode', which made Old Two Legs laugh!

Back home we had just enough time to make some lunch for OTL before the Scotland Ireland Rugby game started.

We sat on the chair with OTL and joined in the cheering. I was cheering for Scotland and Holly was supporting Ireland!

Well, it has only just finished and the score was Scotland 27 points against Ireland 22 points!

Next it's the England- France match, guess who we will be supporting!

TM is out tonight so, after the rugby it will be the Game of Thrones!

This is how to spend a Saturday!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

I found a Super Sniff!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wasn't it great this morning?

We got down to the beach and the sun was shining and there was a 'Balmy Breeze' blowing down the river Medway.

Old Two Legs wanted to take some pictures of the sun but he had forgotten his camera!

Wot a Bozo!

Back home Miss Wendy and Freddy were a little tired after their run on the beach and soon they were fast asleep in their cage all cuddled up in the 'Cuddle Cup'!

Lunchtime we made sure OTL remembered his camera!

Miss May found the first sniff on the beach and enjoyed a really good roll!

This is just WONDERFUL!
Holly didn't seem impressed, mind you, she has had a 'Grumbly Tum' for a couple of days and has declined a run on the beach, so instead she sits on the Sea Wall 'cos it is 'Nice and Cool' for her butt!

This is just right!
While everyone was having fun, I found this Super Big Soggy Sniff that was calling out to be rolled on!

So I did!

Ooh! It gets right between your shoulder blades!
Lucky for me OTL didn't see what I was doing, he thought I was just having a roll in the sand!

When I had finished and caught them all up at the top of the grass path he spotted my back!

He called me a lot of names and made me sit in the back of the back of the car, just so I couldn't have a roll to work it in a bit more!

Miss May got off with it 'cos she was rolling in dried stuff that came off when she had a good shake!

You know I'm going to have to take some lessons from her, she never seems to get called 'Smelly'!

Off down the path again!
Tomorrow we have got a treat, The Missus is off to one of her Master Classes so we will be able to snooze on the sofa and watch TV all day!

Better still, she is out for most of the evening 'Baby Sitting' so it's Bonio biscuits, Rawhide Chews and Shortbread crumbs everywhere!

OTL says we can stay up if we want and watch the 'Game of Thrones' that have been recorded!

Result!

We haven't heard anything from Mr Goodes (Michael) who went to London to get his nose sorted. I don't think I would like my nose messed about with, let's face it, how would I find the sniffs!

See you tomorrow!

Luv

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
