Night Time on the Caravan Site

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here in sunny Scotland!

While we think about it, Holly reckons she heard Archie Babe on our way up the motorway and she called back but didn't hear Archie Babe again 'cos The Missus was woken up and she loudly told Holly to desist from woofing!

I've been in swimming in the river and getting soaking wet and to finish it off, I've had a good roll in the sand to help dry my off!

Old Two Legs reckons he could do the sand dance in the caravan wot with all the sand that has come off my when I get dried!

Now, this caravan site only has a light over the loo and what ever the Two Legs leave on when they settle down for evening of boozing. So, OTL goes wandering out with us and looks up to the sky and see's the Milky Way, Ooooo! Says OTL, I'd like to take a picture of that and last night he cut down realistically on the whisky so he could go with the camera and tripod and have a bash at the click click thing he does with the camera! 

 Well, the one thing he aint going to do is published in the National Geographic Magazie! But at least you can see the Milky Way, (that's the whiteish smudgy bit up the middle!

Next he tried the Great Bear but we think he left the shutter open too long and every star looks the same!

Mind you, if you know your stars you should be able to pick out the Plough!

The plough is right in the middle!

I must say, I prefer the day time and a run on the beach but with all the Two Legs running about it does get a bit crowded sometimes!

 You can almost see Holly through the crouds!

OTL is going out again tonight to try double stacking the photos and see what happens then to the Milky Way!

Two bottles of Bolly later!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back on line again!

Seems that with this new Wi-Fi thingy, the system needed Old Two Legs to re-register himself!

All very tecknikal!

Well, here we are in Carradale, overlooking the sea and the beach wot is over a quarter of a mile long and is full of sniffs and things to roll in and dig up!

Since being up here, The Missus and OTL have got through Two Bottles of Bolly! I mean, wot a pair of pigglies!

Wot is more, TM has set up shop in the awning telling anyone who stops, that she loves baubles!

Guess who is just showing off with her baubles!

Mind you, it is easy to get OTL to forget the computer and take us out for a walk one the sand, providing there are not too many TL's on the beach!

I just hate crowds!

Mind you, when we got around the corner there was a small river where Ijust love to swim, it's not too deep and the water isn't salty!

Mind you, Holly wouldn't come in for a splash, she stayed on the beach and rolled in the sniffs and reckoned that she got wet enough rolling on the sea weed!

You just can't beat a cool stream and sunshine on your back!

OTL has tried to get into the local distillery to buy a couple of bottles of single malt but the place has been shut, so, not to be beaten, he dances off to the Tesco store and gets a couple of bottles there! OK, so they weren't the local stuff but they were whisky!

So, now tonight it will be whisky and bubbly!

I think OTL will sleep well tonight!

We are off in the morning!

 Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We have been in and out of the caravan all day today, loading up the clothes and tins of doggy dins plus the ferrets nosh!

There seems to be more crafting stuff than normal and The Missus is complaining that she feels worn out loading it into the caravan. So, that means there is more stuff than normal and a reduced space for us woofers!

First thing today Eric came with us for a run around the golf course and had great fun in the sand pit again. This time not only was he digging but he also shoved his nose into the sand to sniff any sniffs that might have got left by the rabbits who like to do digging as well!

Lunchtime we went down to the sea front where there were some strangers wandering about plus, we met up with Bob the staffy who has got a thing about giving OTL his rubber toy to throw for him. Today I got all big and brave and tried to chase after the ball but Bob was too quick and too heavy for me to shove out of the way!

The rest of the afternoon was spent packing up all of the last bits for us woofers and OTL went hunting for enough socks to last him all holiday!

Now, tomorrow we will be off early and looking for our first stop at the end of the M6 where there is a good place for us woofers to wee!

The ferrets get a walk around the grass banks and a chance for a wee as well.

After a bite to eat it's then off to Gretna Green where we will be stopping overnight, as normal.

Next day, Tuesday we will land in Carradale where we have a quarter of a mile of sand beach to run on and shallow water to have a swim in!

As we head up the M1 we will be calling out to Archie Babe, providing of course he isn't snuggled up and snoring his tail off!

Next blog will be Tuesday or Wednesday depending on just how tired we all are after the journey!

Just look at the fungi!

Hello Woofers!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Another super sunny day down here in the South East. We have been watching the weather forecast for Scotland and it seems that they have been promised rain by the bucketful over the next few hours!

Now I must double check that our raincoats are in the caravan!

The Missus has been packing stuff away in the caravan, mostly card stock and inks and stencils and loads of crafty magazines!

We should have some fun tomorrow; Old Two Legs is going to get out his clothes and see if he can find a place where he can store them in the caravan!

Holly and I had the golf course to ourselves this morning, the ferrets were all asleep and there were no woofers out walking!

Lunchtime we came across a load of fungi poking it's head up through the grass. It's a sure sign that autumn is on its way 'cos we normally don't get fungi until October has landed!

Fungi and it's only September!

We didn't meet any woofers around the sea front just the odd sniff or two around the bench!

We sniffed the sniffs but to be honest, we didn't know just who it was that left them!

This afternoon we went out shopping with OTL to get some stuff for the caravan. Mind you, we had to stay in the car while he went into the shop, something about woofers not being allowed in the shop!

There is only a few things to do tomorrow so by the time Monday arrives we should be able to hitch up the van and be away by eight, hopefully!
