A Sunny Day

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Well, today has been one of those days when nothing much has happened!

We were up at the normal time and looking out of the window we spotted some frost on the grass. Not the best thing to see!

We took Eric out with us for a trip around the golf course and he had great fun digging in the sand bunkers pretending he was chasing rabbits!

It took a while to get all the sand off his fur as the sand was damp and of course it stuck to him!

No more news from our engineer man who was going off to look for a new alternator for the big car. With all this shutting down it looks like the menders will be shut down for at least four weeks starting with tomorrow and no one will get their car repaired!

Lunchtime we headed off to the beach and were pleased to see that there was not a single cloud in the sky!

It makes a nice change to see all the way to the horizon! Now this is all OK but with no clouds that means the temperature will be low tonight, unless the clouds come back!

Looking over to Sheerness we see that the rig RAN is still parked up. We can see it from our morning walk if we look around the bushes by the football field, so we should get a little warning, if it decides to leave in the morning.

You know, we will miss it when it goes, all we will look at will be the container ships!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

It all happens here!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you again.

It's been a bit of a fun day today, our morning walk was a little damp because of the rain. Old Two Legs managed to get us out in between showers but we still got damp from the shower that was just stopping as we left home and damp from the shower that was just starting as we were at our front door!

Lunchtime OTL decided to take us in the big car but before walkies we headed off to the carriers with a couple of parcels.

On our way back to the beach it started. First the dashboard went blank, then a sign showed up looking like a square box with a - & + on it. OTL recons the battery is either going wrong or the alternator is on its last legs!

So, as we head home OTL phones the 'Road Side Assist' and arranges for an engineer to come and see what's wrong, one small problem, he won't be here until five this evening!

We carried on with our walkies and met up with that balmy Boarder Terrier who thinks everyone wants to play chase with her!

I kept away and Holly tried to ignore her but that didn't stop her from playing 'Silly Woofers'!

No, I'm not going to tickle your tummy, put it away and behave yourself!

After a while she headed off over the big hill and we carried on to, the sea wall. That rig 'RAN' is still at Sheerness and we reckon it won't be long before it gets all its repairs done and is heading off over the horizon.

It's High Tide and the rig is still there!

OTL says we have to keep a close watch on the tides cos he says that it is at High Tide that the rig will float away to where ever it will be working.

OTL tried a little fill in flash but it didn't work very well, still the leaves looked all golden and the clouds had a bit of definition to them!

So, here we are, waiting for the engineer man to call but so far, no sign.

We'll let you know what happens tomorrow.

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
