Another sunny Sunday.

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

After all the wet stuff the other day it was just great to get some sunshine today.

We had a very relaxing walk around the golf course this morning, did a bit of bird watching and then back home to a few jobs to finish off the caravan.

OK, a little cloud but not very much and the sky was still blue!

Holly and I enjoyed the run around at lunchtime, loads of sniffs but no other woofers!

I do enjoy a run on the football field and there are loads of posts to sniff at and wee on!

There is one part of the walk that is full of flowers, just two types but loads of them!

Holly loves a roll on the flowers and pretending to Old Two Legs that there is a big pile of poo she is rolling in.

It does get OTL going and he spends all his time jumping up and down and calling her a 'Stinky Woofer'

I'm not a Stinky Woofer, not really!

The rest of the sea front is all grass!

Eric is off to the vet tomorrow, let’s hope there is nothing seriously wrong with his leg!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

It wasn't sticky enough in the corner!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

First things first, Old Two Legs has asked the vet to take loads of money off him, in other words, Eric has an appointment to see the vet on Monday morning about his lump on his leg.

OTL has been doing some serious looking and decided that the lump is not part of his paw but rather a lump caused by a thorn off a bramble bush or it could even be a scratch that has gone septic.

When OTL touches the lump, Eric doesn't jump about or act as though it is sore or hurts, so, maybe an injection of anti-biotic stuff may cure him.

Now, as you all know, yesterday it rained and it rained and it rained. We didn't do too much and got wet in the process!

This morning The Missus pokes her head into the office and says that there is water coming through one of the caravan roof lights.

Now, that is not supposed to happen!

So, after the morning stroll and some cage cleaning OTL set about removing the unit and inspecting it for leaks.

The only thing he could find was a corner where the adhesive looked like it would allow water to pass under the lip of the moulding. So, OTL sets about scraping all the adhesive off and goes to the caravan shop to get some stuff called Mastic Tape.

After sticking this onto the roof light and screwing it down we now wait for next rain to fall to see if his mending works!

This engineering too most of the day and would you believe it, TM took us out at lunchtime and mid-afternoon and again late afternoon!

We like TM taking us for walkies but we don't go to the sea side but around the old golf course again and again and again!

With any luck OTL will be back in charge tomorrow and we will get down to the coast!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

One Forward then One Step Back!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Sorry we missed yesterday but Old Two Legs has been rushing around like a Blue Tailed Fly getting customers sorted, broken bits repaired and getting a new Bookkeeper settled in!

Now yesterday was super as far as the sunshine went, a really great day.

We managed to get out for our runs although The Missus had to take us out on one trip to cover Old Two Legs when he took the big car for an MOT, which it passed with flying colours!

Why is it that as soon as we get closer to a holiday, jobs that need to be done all seem to gang up and these Two Legs get caught out every time.

Mind you, TM reckons she is ahead of the game and it's only some spiders that have to be swept out of the front of the caravan Gas Bottle cupboard and she is finished!

Yeah, as if we believe that!

Now, technical stuff, after the two days of filter try-outs I'm almost sure that the Yellow Filter is the one to use on dark cloudy day and full-blown colour is more pleasant on the eye, wot do you think?

Mind you, colour or B&W or IR both Holly and I will make it as difficult as possible for him when he pokes the lens into our face!

No, I'm not looking at you!

No, stick it somewher else, I'm not looking!

Mind you, the trees all look super with the new leaves, the grass is growing like mad and the hayfever is driving OTL around the bend!

I thought it was a Monster but it was only OTL sneezing his butt off!

OK, back home and out with the tools, we got work to do!

Today has been a terrible day, rain, rain and in the end, rain!

OTL has been out collecting and delivering and Eric has developed a sore paw. Well, one of his pads has swollen slightly and looks sore. We reckon he has trodden on a thorn or even a bit of barbed wire. So, as the holiday is close OTL has booked an appointment with the vets for Monday to get it looked at and maybe a shot of anti-biotic in case of any infection there may be.

Eric seems OK with it and doesn't seem worried but he is a big brave ferret and just like Archie Babe, he doesn't make a fuss!

Weekend tomorrow and OTL is out de-spidering the Gas Cupboard, how come he gets all the fun jobs?

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
