Eric's got new balls!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another fun day here in North Kent, Old Two Legs has been working his tail off getting stuff packaged and sent off to the customers. 

Half way through the morning Holly and I played a game on OTL, I started jumping up and down, like wot I do when I got an urgent need to have a wee or a poo.

Well, even though he was grumbling, OTL took Holly and I down the sea front for a long-extended walk around the sea wall and through the forest.

We saw the container ships heading up the Thames to the Tilbury Docks. We even managed a picture of a butterfly having a snooze, just before it flew off!
 

 The picture was taken with the lens that OTL dropped the other day and you can see that the focusing just isn't right.

 Southend looked all bright but again the wind was in the wrong direction and all the kebab sniffs were blown up the Thames!

It was super long walk and half way around I thought I'd keep OTL happy. I didn't need a poo but had one just to keep OTL happy and even Holly joined in with a poo of her own!

You see, if we don't do a poo OTL might just get wise to our games and in future he will make us go in the back garden, even if it's raining!

By the time we got back both Holly and I were in need of a good snooze!

The post man arrived just before we got home and there was present from Archie Babe for Eric, some new balls!

Now Eric was super pleased with that, I mean, it's not every day you get a brand-new set of balls. I can see him playing with them the next time he is out for a game and we all know where he will hide them, under the TV!

Holly has not been feeling herself lately and OTL has decided that a trip to the vets for some 'Pick Me Up' jollop and a poke around by the vet is called for. So, this evening Holly is off for a check-up.

OTL says that it is more than likely it is something she has picked up on the beach and eaten, it's a Holly thing eating crabs or bits of sea weed, but then she is a bit of a porky puppy where food is concerned and everything is food to her!

What an F1 Day!

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, it's been a lazy Sunday today. The weather has been OK but not the best we have known!

Looking over to Southend you can see what I mean

I don't think you would get a tan under these clouds!

 

The wild sweet pea plants looked a little more colourful on a grey day than under bright sun light.

You can see how some of the plants have dried up with the past sunshine last month.

There wasn't much to photograph today, the dragonflies were just too high to catch and what was down at ground level was either too small, to fast or too well hidden!

Half way around we paused at one of the benches and Old Two Legs played around with the camera and the flash settings!

OK, flash settings and a tickle on the computer to shove a bit of fill in flash as well!

Back home we managed to get everything done before the F1 Racing begun. It was just as well 'cos there was a big crunch at the first bend and there was crashed cars all over the place. It was good that there was no one injured and it all restarted and from a position of last position, Lewis managed to get back up to third place!

It was a thrilling race and if you ignore all the bitching, I would say it was one of the best races this year!

Now that it is August, they are all going off on holiday and then it'd back again at the beginning of September

Can't wait!
