Another Deep Paddle!

 Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

It's been another sunny day today, all warm and just right!

I was out this morning with The Missus and today decided we would go around the old golf course for a change.

They still have the curtains up to keep the animals in or out, never could work that out!

Loads of sniffs and wee's before heading back to wake Old Two Legs up and get him out of bed!

Of course, as soon as he was up, I was onto the bed and started playing the 'Ceiling Walk' again!

Great fun!

It's been a bit boring today, OTL has been sorting out paperwork and trying to work out if he has made a profit this month!

As I said, Boring!

Lunchtime was a bit better. I got to go ahead of OTL and as soon as I could claim to be too far in the distance to hear him, I ran like the clappers and launched myself into the water that was almost at high tide!

OK, that's far enough away to say I can't hear him!

To be honest, us Woofers have very good hearing but when the feeling is on you it is amazing just how deaf you can be!

Wot? You calling me?

Of course, once you have claimed to be Mutton Jeff there is nothing he can do, well, not when the water is washing your tummy!

Water? Yeah, it's just great, wanna come in as well?

He falls for it every time!

Once you are on the beach all wet and dripping it is a good idea to have a roll in the sand, just to try drying your back!

Of course, once you are away from the beach there is the grass to roll in but that means you will get those nasty burrs in your hair, so I try to shake it all off before getting in the car!

Come on, I need a rub down with a towel, these burrs itch!

So, that's it for today except OTL is taking the little car for a wash and vacuum cos since we got it, it has never had a wash!

It should look all bright and sparkly by the time it's finished!

Organised or wot!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you!

It's been busy, busy, busy today.

Old Two Legs has been working away on the paperwork for the new car. 

Paying for it has been fun. By mistake OTL put a deposit down on the car by using his bit of plastic he calls a Kredit Kard.

Now this was no problem but a sort of panic email came from the salesman saying that he could only accept a certain amount on the Kredit Kard or even the Debit Kard and how was I planning to pay the rest??????

OTL says he should have offered to come along with a suitcase full of 'Fivers'!

In the end OTL got the bank details and paid by BACS!

Strange how different companies react when you are trying to pay them money, OTL brought the small car with the Debit Kard and that was a brand-new motor but this one is a four-year-old waggon!

So, with that sorted, it was the insurance company and OTL thought he was going potty on this.

He got a quote for just him driving and then, just to compare, he got a quote and included The Missus on the insurance.

It was a whopping £108.00 less with TM on the insurance!

OTL thought it was wrong and it should have been more with TM but the man says 'no'!

So, after that, the insurance starts Thursday morning and both of them are covered!

Last of all is the new log book and registration and this can't be done until OTL gets the 'Green Slip' in the old log book and he won't have that util Thursday but the salesman says that he will loan OTL a desk with a computer so he can get onto the GOV web site and pay them some money via Debit Kard!

At last, someone who will take plastic!

The car has a nice big boot so the ferrets can snuggle down, there is space for other stuff in the back and OTL plans to get a ‘Top Box’ thingy that sits on the roof so TM can take her clothes and a ‘small box’ of crafty stuff!

I will be stretched out on my bed on the back seat with plenty of room!

It has been warm and sunny today and for a change, I got down to the water and in I went for a 'Deep Paddle'! 

You know, I didn't even listen to OTL shouting that I should 'Get Out'!

As if!

 Look! Sand and Water everywhere!

We stopped at the bench and spent a very sunny fifteen minutes drying off and talking about the new car!

I could stay here all day!

A change of Doggy Dins!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

There are times when you get used to a system and someone comes along and boom! 

It all goes wrong!

Take me, I have been having the same Doggy Dins for ages and my tummy was used to the taste and the sniff of it and what I didn't eat during the day I managed to finish off before bed time.

That was all OK until The Missus thought she would try some new stuff. Well, at my mouth end it was OK'ish, the sniff wasn’t too bad and I managed the first few mouthfuls.

However, last night the next part of my digestion system decided it should voice its opinion on the latest feast!

My tum-tum started to rumble and I could feel it bubbling away.

Around five in the morning I woke OTL up to open the bedroom door and I was off to tell The Missus of my problems.

Well, I was out of the house and heading for the field ASAP.

It was one of those ‘Through the Eye of a Needle’ poo’s, you know, straight out and didn’t touch the sides!

Back home I was feeling a little jaded and in need of a rest!

TM now reckons she will dump the new food and go back to the old stuff that my tum-tum can recognize!

OTL has found a car that has taken his fancy, it has enough room for the ferret cage and photographic gear plus there is a soft spot where I can park my bed and snooze all the way up the M1 motorway!

He is making appointments for a test drive, just to make sure he fits behind the steering wheel!

Looking out the window I see the clouds have arrived and I reckon it will be raining before long.

Time for bed!

A Seriously Lazy Sunday!

 Hi there Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Don't you just love a Sunday when all of the work is done ad you can roll onto your back and play at 'Ceiling Walking'!

Sometimes The Missus has a go but she falls asleep before getting her paws up in the air!

Old Two Legs doesn't bother, he gets his paws horizontal in front of him and then snores his tail off!

Me? Well, I wriggle around until my legs are pointing towards the ceiling and then close one eye and 'walk' all around the light fitment that is hanging from the ceiling!

Just like the expert like wot I am!

I love doing it first thing in the morning before I go out for the morning walk and then I do it again while OTL is cleaning the cages of Ferret Poo!

It was after doing the cages when we spotted a whacking great hairy spider that must have been a foot from one side to the other!

 It was Horrid!

 Now, OTL is a bit like me, we don't do spiders, OTL try’s the vacuum approach while I do the 'Smack with a Paw' method!

TM is all brave and tries to scoop them up in a glass but this one was so big it ripped the glass from her paw and threw it across the office!

OTL and I sorted it in the end.

POW!

Being a Sunday there were loads of Two Legs down on the sea wall, teaching worms to swim.

So, that's why I didn't get a chance of a swim or even a deep paddle!

We stopped at the bench and enjoyed ten minutes sitting in the sun and watching the world go by.

OTL spent some time clicking away trying to focus up on my eyes but I've got a fine hairy face and my eyes are very dark brown, so you will have trouble seeing them!

No, can't see my eyes!

OK, there is one eye but it is only cos the sky is reflected in my eye

How about a nice grin instead?

OK, even I'm getting fed up with this game!

We didn't see the squirrel again so I expect it was dancing around the tree tops looking for nuts and other stuff to store away during the winter.

OTL has been looking at cars again but hasn't found one to set his little heart a flutter, so he will just have to wait until the right one comes along and while he is waiting, we can play 'Ceiling Walking'!
