Sandy Beach Babe!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy Dog here again.

Well, Spring is here and that's official! Not only have the flowers been blooming but the leaves are starting to burst out of the buds on the Hawthorne.

Mind you, we missed the sunrise and I suppose that is another sign the Spring is well on its way and Summer is close!

You know the clouds can be just as interesting as the sun if you catch them in the right light!

Now then, just look at the leaves bursting out. They certainly were not here yesterday but today most of the Hawthorne trees have sprouted leaves!

By the end of the week, I reckon there will be leaves all over the tree!

Of course, there are no leaves on the beach but the sand is very sniffy and it just calls to me!

You just can't beat a good roll in some sniffy sand, it really sets you up for the day!

Mind you, Old Two Legs still tries to stop me, not that I listen to him!

This afternoon we had the man in to clean the gutters and the amount of moss he got out was amazing!

OTL has done it all in the past but old age is creeping up on him and climbing ladders to clean gutters is getting too dangerous!

It's bad enough when he has to climb up into the loft, mind you, I must admit I enjoy going up there with him!

Well, that's it for today, the sun has been shining this afternoon but there is rain forecasted for the weekend, mind you, that could make the sand soggy!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

Bunny Rabbits!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy Dog is here again!

A busy, busy day today, Old Two Legs has been plonking away on the computer pretending to be working hard!

I don't believe it but you got to let him pretend!

Because of the work he has been doing, we got out a little late today, so we missed sunrise but we did meet up with Barny III the poodle who was bouncing all over the place!

The wind was up so we passed through the forest on our path but in reverse, as we did yesterday.

Now doesn't that look good!

We have seen Daffodillies growing by the side of the path. Some have bloomed and then got picked but new blooms seem to sprout almost overnight.

 Pretty Daffodillies.

As we took a new path, OTL found some rabbit holes that looked like they are in use. I used my nose to confirm there were rabbits in there. I was trying a little digging to get in to find them but I think they were too far underground for me to find.

Here Bunny, Bunny, come to Daisy!

Well, I didn't find a bunny and left them to hide while I headed off to the beach for a good roll in the sand!

You know there is nothing so wonderful as rolling around on a well-rotted sniff on the beach, nothing!

Not only did I have a roll but I had a dig and a run up and down the beach as well!

Next it was back home and OTL made up my bed with some new cushions and blankets and he even rolled the blankets into pillows as well!

I got told that today marks the tenth year of Archie Babe moving into his home, lucky lad!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy Dog!

It's getting better!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy here.

This morning there was a bitter wind blowing, near froze my tail off! Old Two Legs wasn't too happy 'cos the wind was blowing into his face most of the way around the walk!

Well, the wind has blown the clouds away!

Just for a change, OTL and I had a game on the beach, I dug holes in the sand and OTL tried to chase me off the holes!

 I won!

Once we got over the hill the wind dropped and OTL was able to take his hood down!

That's better, the trees have blocked the wind.

We spotted the Red Admiral again flying up and down the path, trying to keep in the sunshine so he can stay warm. Once he found a warm patch, he landed to soak up the rays of the sun.

This is better!

After the butterfly who should we bump into? The Huskies! It was great fun winding them up by running towards them then veering off just before the started to chase me!

Of course, they are on a lead and I'm running free, so, I've got mor room to move!

Great fun!

Come on, chase me if you can!

Lunchtime we decided to go around the other way so the wind is in OTL's back, that made him happy!

Mind you, we didn't see any one but OTL was in a better mood!

It is difficult trying to find a poo spot in reverse!

There was a Hawthorne Tree in full blossom, we would normally miss it if we went around the normal way but in reverse, it sort of jumps out at us!

Now, doesn't this just shout out Spring?

Then it's back home for a Bacon and Mushroom beget, we know how to live!

By for now!

Luv,

Daisy!
