That's Better!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy Dog here again.

Well, today has been good, little or no wind and an almost cloudless sky!

I love it when the sea is smooth, all sort of dreamy and calm.

Now, when you add water with no wind and coming up to high tide........Time for a swim!

I managed to escape from Old Two Legs and before he could stop me.........I got a deep paddle!

It didn't stop there 'cos I managed to get a couple more dips and I even got a roll on the sandy beach!

I'm looking forward to going on holiday and getting a swim on Calgary Beach, all sand!

Lunchtime we came across the pile of hair that got pulled from my mates the huskies, a bit of a mess!

One of the good things about husky hair is that it is good for lining bird nests!

Just over half way around the walk we come to a bench and table which is great for having a small rest. OTL likes to try and take a photo of m e and most of the time I manage to turn away but today I was a little slow!

While we were sitting there, taking in the sunshine, OTL saw a fox come out of the bushes. She stopped, looked at OTL but as soon as he raised his camera she turned around and ran back to the bushes!

She managed to get away quicker than I could get up, maybe next time!

Still no sign of the squirrels, I reckon they must be hiding in the trees.

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy Dog.

Where has the sun gone?

High Woofers!

Daisy here.

What has happened to the weather? a few days ago it was all sunshine and balmy breezes but of late it has been gales and rain!

I've always thought that it was 'Flaming June' where we all head for shadows to escape the heat!

The only thing flaming is the meat in the kebab shop!

Looking towards Sheerness it is just the same except the kebab shop is shut today!

We were joined by the gang of hooligans who were chasing a ball that kept on bouncing into the mud!

Old Two Legs got a cuddle from the Yorkie but was ignored by all the others, maybe because they can't chase OTL into the mud!

It was on the lunchtime walk that I had a little roll in the sea weed but to be honest, it really wasn't wet enough and I didn't even get told off!

I'm sure it was a squirrel or maybe it was a rat!

In the forest I often see things rushing about but it's only out of the corner of my eye. I can normally catch the birds but there are mice and rats and of course squirrels.

There was a time when I saw a weasel, well, I thought it was a weasel 'cos of the colouring but I haven't seen it for a year or two.

OTL has been busy today. He has notified his regular customers we are off on holiday in a couple of weeks and they have responded by placing orders!

See you all tomorrow and claws crossed we get some sunshine!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

A day of Street Parties!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy here again.

What a day! We've been watching the parade on the television, loads of fun. After the armed forces came a load stars and people representing all walks of life.

The only thing missing were some woofers!

I mean, without woofers where would you be!

I decided to do my own march up and down the sea front!

Come on, quick march, left right, left right.

I must admit, after a little while even I got bored!

It would better if the tide was in!

On our way back OTL took some pictures of a street party in the next village. The only problem was, the road was closed and we had to go the long way around!

Sundays will never be the same, unless we do it next year!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy

Working on Holiday!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy here.

What a difference it has been today, instead of sunshine and balmy breezes.

As soon as we got out of the car, we ran into a force eight gale blowing in off the sea!

Old Two Legs put his hood up and sealed himself in!

Mind you, the wind still got in under his jacket!

I don't need a jacket, I've got hair!

For most of the day we have been watching OTL doing his 'end of month' accountancy. OTL hates doing it but it has to be done before the accountant gets her paws on it!

Of course, I like to help him and spend time doing mental calculations regarding the VAT!

Both our morning and lunchtime walks were the same, loads of wind! Because it was coming in off the sea there was nothing to stop it at all, so as you walk into the wind you had to lean forward all the time!

Windy!

With a bit of luck, we will finish the the accounting and and if the rain holds off, we will stay dry on our walk.

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.
