I Love Fridays!

 Hello Woofers.

Daisy de Dog here!

Well, it makes a change to sign in with a different name every so often!

Today has been fun, first of all we got down to the sea front to be met with, no one!

You know, like there was nothing there except the sea and a few birds!

Not a woofer to be seen!

Still, it made up for it by being warm and just a gentle breeze.

When we got to the point where we turn off and go through the trees, I saw Barny II and we had a quick sniff and that was it, gone!

On the last bit before the car park, we met up with the hooligans Jack and Bert. I am never sure which is which but today they decided to be all friendly to Old Two Legs and wouldn't leave him alone until they each got a tickle behind the ears and down to their tails!

I might be Jack, but on the other paw, I might be Bert!

I could be Bert but then again, I might be Jack!

In the end I gave up and snapped at one of them who was getting too close to my butt! I had warned them enough.

No Invite, No Sniff!

One day they may learn!

OTL noticed that the off side rear tyre was a little soft, like there was not enough air in the tyre. So, there was only one thing to do, straight down to the Tyre Man and get a new tyre fitted 'cos there was a nail sticking out of the tyre wall and unfortunately you can't repair the tyre wall.

So, after opening his wallet and saying 'Help Yourself' he arrived home sobbing his little tail off, OTL hates spending money if there is no return!

The Missus is off Glue Slapping tomorrow so I've got to look after OTL all day and that means helping him watch the F1 Racing!

It's a hard life!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

The Missus goes Potty in the Big Car!

Hello woofers!

Daisy here again!

Sorry we missed yesterday, blame the Missus!

You see, we are off on holiday soon and will be driving up to Scotland in the big motor. Now, Old Two Legs, being the careful type of Two Legs suggested that TM should have a drive around in the new car to get used to driving it, just in case there was some reason that prevented OTL from driving.

'Oh No'!

That, plus a couple of other reasons not to do it were declared by TM.

After a while and on the promise that the road will be wide and safe, that TM finally agreed to drive us down to Grain Beach, providing OTL was sitting in the passenger seat!

Well, off we went and TM gently navigated the road through the village and onto the main road.

TM was saying that the car was very comfortable to drive and most responsive to the steering and it really gripped the road with its low-profile tyres and sports suspension.

Once we got past the container port the road opened out to a very wide road.

That's when it happened, TM put her foot down on the accelerator pedal and the car took off like a cat with its butt on fire!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

The long and the short of it all was TM high jacking the car and taking us for a tour around the Hoo Peninsular trying to get the car to take off!

I'm sure that there were a couple of spots where she did in fact take off, with the help of an undulating road!

By the time we got home OTL and I were feeling a little bit wobbly but at least TM was feeling comfortable driving the big car now!

Today was a more of a gentle ride 'cos TM stayed home messing about with her buckets of glue and glitter. You see tomorrow she and her mates will be meeting up at the village hall for a day of glue slapping and gassing!

Today was sunny with very little wind and I even got to go in for a deep paddle!

There were some of the lads already out and running in and out of the water chasing a rubber ball. It was a big ball and I would have never got my teeth around it, so I let them play!

Go on, splash about then!

We spotted the first bits of Laburnum flowers opening up, so it won't be long before all the butterflies will be out!

Well, that's it for today, let's hope the rain keeps away and we will be back tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.
