Another snoozy day!

 

 Hello Woofers,

Daisy here.

Of all the days in a year I must admit that the end of Winter, are the most unproductive of all.

I mean, most of the time it is either raining, cold or dismal!

Heading off to bed I have found is the best cure, a bit boring but the day does seem to fly by.

This morning, half way around the walk we met up with The Lads and found Hugo was still in bed but Sandy, the cross labrador had passed away last week.

It had been a long time since we had met up but his Two Legs says she thinks it was something to do with his heart. He had gone to bed at night and sometime in the early morning he had passed away.

He was a friendly lad and always came up to OTL for a tickle under his chin or a tickle on the tail!

All around the walk there were big puddles and muddy patches where it would be easy for OTL to slip or fall over, it’s a good job he got some new wellies for his birthday!

The Missus took me out at lunchtime, in fact we were rather early 'cos I had a bit of a Grumbly Tum from eating too many chews!

Why is it that the things that taste good, taken in excess prove to be a problem to our tum!

OTL has that problem with his whisky!

Lightning Poo Day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy here.

The rain swept down here last night and it kept going all night long.

The pond was full to the brim this morning and OTL suggested I take myself for a walk this morning and leave him to finish his morning snooze!

Of course, I kicked him out of bed and found my rain coat, and dragged him over to the football field.

I must admit, I didn't fancy walking in the rain, so it was a case of rush behind the goal post, have a quick wee and a poo then head back home to a warm bed and super snooze until it was time to wake OTL up for the lunchtime walk.

Guess wot?

It was raining!

I got a little damp but once again it was a case of Lightning Ablutions and a dash back home to a warm bed!

 

 

All warm and snoozy!

 Now, you can't get better!

Puddles.

 Hello Woofers.

Daisy here.

Didn't it rain last night?

It was nice and dry last night when we went to bed and after a while, we could hear the rain pounding on the window pane but when we went out first thing there were puddles of water everywhere!

There were mighty big puddles in the road and along the grass path!

There was no sunrise, just grey clouds!

About the only thing with colour was the catkins, but even they had water dripping from them!

It was the same all day and I had to have a rub down with my doggy towel to get the water off my tummy!

Can you see the ginger between my claws!

I was glad to get into my bed and wriggled around until I got dry!

More rain is forecast for tonight so we may get the pond to overfill tonight!
