Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
It has been a super day today, the sun shone and the breeze blew and we went down The Forest again!
The morning walk was all 'Gentle' and easy going. The Ferrets stayed in the ferret bag all the way down to the beach and then after a quick wee, they both tried to get back in the bag again!
Old Two Legs wasn't having any of that and turfed them both out again!
Holly and I enjoyed a sit down on the beach and just sort of enjoyed the view across the water. Holly said that she could sit there all day if OTL would allow it!
I could stay here all day, except for meal times! |
Either my legs are wearing out or this step is getting bigger! |
Lunchtime I gave OTL's chair the old 'Shove in The Back' to indicate that it was walkies time and finally we were off, in the big car!
We stopped off at one of his customers and picked up some gear, had a chat and then went down The Forest!
We haven't been there for a little while so we were catching up on all the sniffs!
Sniff No. 1 in The Forest! |
A Leafy Glade? |
It looked in good condition and although it wasn't very big, it did have the white spots and a nice waxy cap!
First this year! |
The Heeland Coo's' were in the forest but as much as we looked, we didn't see them at all. Holly said that they may have gone away for a few days holiday before the autumn sets in!
We carried on with the sniffs and kept an eye out for any squirrels that may be lurking about but we didn't see any either, maybe they had gone on holiday with the Heeland Coo's!
Last sniff of the walk before the car park! |
He is always in trouble!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Oh what a lovely day, with lovely photos and good scoff. Maybe Mr Brambles legs are getting shorter with all the walking he does of a morning. Glad you had a good time in the forest, I wonder if the squirrels are getting sorted for the winter months. We not had so many squirrels in the garden lately but then again that might be due to the local bozo cat that thinks it's his garden, Archie keeps going and telling it to woof off. Are you sure those heeland coos weren't hiding behind the trees keeping an eye out for you and Holly? Have a lovely evening, love, licks and wags from little Arch (the best behaved boy in school today) xxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat an ideal day, sunshine, chicken, snoozes and the forest, how lovely is that! The toadstool looked very pretty although very poisonous, it looks very big in the picture but a few floating spores and there will be some more. We noticed at the weekend the leaves are leaving the trees, they look very nice in "a leafy glade" but it is a warning for the weeks ahead. Have you seen any tall ships, there were pictures posted of them in Allhallows but I expect OTL was looking for fungi and missed them. Hope it stays warm for you all and maybe the heeland coos will come out ferret spotting. xxxx
