Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!
It's been a sunny day down here in North Kent. Old Two Legs has put his new boots away so the ferrets can't play with them!
He is such a spoil sport!
Our morning run down on the beach was interesting 'cos both ferrets decided to investigate what Holly and I found interesting to sniff!
Every time I stopped, up would trot a ferret and ask, 'Wot you sniffin now?'
Wot you sniffin? |
Can you wag your tail like this? |
As I told him.........only when I'm swimming!
Miss Snowflake spent some time hunting around in the grass and managed to disturb a nest of Carder Bees!
She was lucky she didn't get stung!
I don't know, but it's buzzing! |
Someone give me a shove up! |
Lunchtime we were back down the beach but although the tide was almost in, it was just too rough to go in for a swim!
Too rough for me! |
I did my 'Gissa Bit Mister' and one of them broke off a bit and offered it to me but I could see that it was just the crust, no meat!
Gissa bit of the meaty bit not the crust! |
OTL was happy, we were walking past the Rabbit Bushes, when he spotted a Dragonfly having a snooze in the sun.
The first picture has been 'Processed' using Photoshop but the second is 'Straight out the camera'

Still looks good! |
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
What a lovely day. Shame the tide was too rough but at least you had interesting sniffs to sniff. I bet Miss Snowflake will be careful where she sniffs tomorrow, glad she didn't get stung, can't OTL take a little pair of steps or a ramp with him so that Mr Brambles can get up the step a bit easier. At least that fisherman was good enough to offer a bit of his pie, most you've met have scoffed theirs before you arrive. Lovely pictures again today, that dragon fly is gorgeous, but not quite as gorgeous as you lot. Little Arch and me had a long snooze this afternoon, we love a good old siesta. Have a lovely evening, looking forward to tomorrows blog, who knows, you might even get a bit of meat on the crust if that fisherman is around again. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteGreat pity you couldn't have a swim better luck tomorrow and better luck with the fisherman's' sandwich, what a swizz offering you the crust and even "Eat anything Holly" spat it out. I suppose the fisherman thought you both rude and now won't offer you anything in future. Better find another fisherman. The dragon fly is superb they move about usually and are difficult to see properly so these are extra special. Love the idea about getting Mr B a ramp or pair of steps but I don't suppose OTL will be wanting to carry it around not even for his beloved ferret! If you squatted down then Mr B could run up your back and on to the top, how about that for an idea? Have a lovely Thursday, I will be watching out. xxxx
