It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!
Well, today was the 'Real Solstice' and we got up really early to see it. We left home in the dark and headed down to The Beach. The sky was getting light and when we looked over to where the sun was going to climb out of bed we saw, clouds! No sun, just clouds and they were down on the horizon and didn't let any sun shine through!
A Terrible Solstice! |
Call that a sunrise? |
Here OTL, I'm Stuck! |
That was it really, too early for any of the usual woofers, so it was back home for breakfast, only, there wasn't any!
Not that it worried us 'cos we sometimes get fed at silly times during the day.
To make up for it, we watched OTL dismantle the electrical connection to the caravan and then went with him to the caravan shop to buy a new box. That was fun 'cos we went in the big car and had loads of fun woofing at the other Two Legs in their cars and we also stuck our tongues out and blew raspberries!
After the caravan shop we headed home but it was getting near to lunchtime walkies, so, as a treat, OTL took us to The New Park!
We had a great time running and chasing each other and woofing at the other woofers. OTL had forgotten to bring his camera, so no pictures I'm afraid!
After getting back home OTL and The Missus were out to get the new curtains and the curtain poles. By the look on OTL's face when they got back, it seems that TM was highly pleased and OTL was not Highly Skint!
Still, the first one went up and although it is a bit long and need turning up, it don't look too bad!
Tomorrow he has got to put up the rest, so that should be fun!
Well, it got to dinner time this evening and we were getting a bit peckish, seeing as we hadn't had so much as a mouthful of food today.
OTL went and got out our 'Posh Scoff' and offered it to us.
Did he really think he could get away with it?
Does he think our noses are all bunged up?
We could sniff the Worming Tablet that was crushed and mixed up in our dinner!
We took about an hour to eat that stuff, normally it takes less than five seconds!
In the end we both sort of finished the bowl but we both left some bits around the edges!
Now we are off to bed, late and a little hungry but we know there is Lambs Heart for breakfast tomorrow, so it's not all bad!
Bye bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Oooh that OTL is a cheat, fancy putting worming tablets in doggie scoff, even if it is posh stuff, he'd be better putting it in the lambs heart, I'm sure you'd still smell it but at least you'd be happy to woof it down a bit quicker and not leave anything round the edges. Glad to hear you've got new curtains. Some you've had a few adventures today with OTL, you are lucky. I hope he doesn't have nightmares tonight about his wallet running away. Hate to think of you going to bed a bit hungry, hasn't OTL got any shortbread left that you could mug as a late night snackette? Have a good snooze tonight and hope the lambs heart is served the way you like it best. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity that after getting up so early you still didn't get the sunrise, oh well back to the drawing board and try to find it again. The strange light made the seaweed look blue, I hope it wasn't really that colour. I did laugh about the worming tablet all crushed up, you are not clever woofers for nothing, did he really think you wouldn't notice? So no pictures of these new curtains, or are we to wait until they all up, seems that OTL is going to have to work a bit faster to keep ahead of TM in the spending stakes! Our Daisy saw our Christmas Card and said the white one is Snowflake and the other one is Mr Brown, she giggled when I said it was Mr Brambles but she remembered Daisy and Holly and those carrots. Still you have had lots of adventures with the beach, the park and the caravan shop and the sticking tongues out and blowing raspberries, not very ladylike!!! Still you are both adorable, so we will let you off!! xxxx
