Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here on a very cold day!
You could tell it was cold, Old Two Legs had to put his hood up over his hat!
Holly said that it was because there was a North East wind blowing in off the sea!
Both ferrets weren't too happy about being out of the Ferret Bag and when I asked Snowflake if she wanted to share a hole I had dug, she told me to 'Keep Over My Side' and all 'cos the sand was flying all over the place!
That's Your Side! |
OK, Bombs Away! |
The ferrets and I thought it was a very good idea, so we legged it back as well!
Lunchtime we were down The Sea Wall again and were surprised to see a fisherman on the beach. Mind you, he wasn't sitting on the cold wet stones! When we got to where he was you could see that he was cold and Holly reckons that he will be back in his car before we got back!
Too cold to hang around! |
Next stop was the carriers to drop off a parcel and then on to do some deliveries of our own. After that we stopped at the Riverside Park, it was cold there as well!
The wind was blowing in off the estuary and it seemed just as cold as it was on The Sea Wall!
We did see some Quackers and even they looked cold!
Cold Quackers! |
White Horses on The Sea! |
I think OTL knew she was joking!
Shall we all have a swim? |
Splosh! |
Holly can be pretty daft sometimes!
Swim? He hasn't even got his towel with him! |
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
Brrrrrr you made me feel cold just reading your blog today. There was a really icy blast around. Hope you got some decent scoff after all that walking in the cold today. I bet it was good doing the deliveries, sitting in a warm car. There are some TL's who like swimming when it's very cold though. I bet that fisherman didn't hang around long, I bet the worms found it too cold for swimming. Enjoy your snoozes in the warm and happy muggings this evening, love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx
ReplyDeleteI found you quite by accident and fell head over heels in love. Fantastic narration with smashing pictures. What a wonderful way to start my day!!
ReplyDeleteSandy
You are a brave pair and I missed commenting because I went to work yesterday all in the warm (well sort of) and then didn't turn my computer on. I was first today with commenting and then thought ooops I didn't read yesterdays, sorry but I have got my Daisy Fix in double time and you have a new admirer I do hope she continues to comment, I love reading your antics so much. The sand was at least soft enough to dig that must be a good thing, mustn't it? Do be careful that you don't bury Snowflake with all your enthusiasm and be extra careful with Mr Brambles around because he is sandy coloured. Lovely pictures, poor little Cold Quakers and brave Mr Fisherman, some might say silly Mr Fisherman but it takes all sorts and at least OTL isn't silly enough to go for a swim. Keep warm. xxxx Some extra xxxx
