We've Been Robbed!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

You know, there we were, fast asleep, cuddled up to Old Two Legs, all warm and cuddly and looking forward to a nice long lie in 'cos it's Saturday.

Then it happened, the jet powered vacuum cleaner was switched on and someone turned on the TV and all we could hear was the recording of 'Big Mother' blasting up the stairs!

Very slowly we opened our eyes and OTL stopped snoring, then we realised that all this noise was because we had to take The Missus up to the village hall for her Master Class.

Next thing was to wake up the ferrets who said they weren't going anywhere until they finished their Lactose Free Milk!

We got out early for our walk and there was loads of frost on the ground

Loads of Frost!

Being a bit earlier than normal, the light was all very strange and of course, OTL just had to start clicking away with the camera!

Light over Sheerness!
Down on the beach, Miss Snowflake headed out into the sea weed for her 'Morning Wee'.

It's a bit wet!
She didn't hang about and soon was back on the beach joining me in sniffing for sniffs!

We both agreed that sniffs were better in Spring and Summer!

Any good sniffs?
Brambles and Holly were heading back to the car and Holly said it was good that she had her coat. Brambles said he has never tried a coat but he had a super thick coat that trapped the warm air and kept him warm, except of course, when the wind blew from behind!

Well, I'd try a coat if fitted!
Back home we enjoyed a chicken breakfast and was soon back up stairs for a morning snooze.

The ferrets were having a rampage around the house and OTL saw the pair of them heading down the stairs.

While OTL was cleaning the ferret house, the ferrets were strangely quiet, no things falling over, no charging around under the chairs or ferreting through TM's card making stuff!

OTL was getting worried and he went 'Hunting Ferret'!

He found both of them, in the kitchen eating from our doggy bowl!

Now, the bowl was full of a new biscuit that was small enough to be 'Ferret Size' and was made of chicken and brown rice!

Now, Holly and I didn't go a bomb on it but the ferrets said it was great!

Mind you, I do like the Ferret Nibbles and Holly has got a thing about the Ferret Chicken Nibbles!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and we spotted the Brent Geese swimming off shore  and of course Holly was wondering if they tasted like Duck or Chicken but OTL said that they were Geese and would taste like Goose!

OTL knows what you taste like!
We got mobbed by a noisy little woofer who wanted to stick his nose up my tail and I had to give him the serious 'Woofer Warning'!

That will teach him!
Having got rid of that rude woofer we had a great time on the beach, we played 'Chase The Woofer' with OTL and then Holly and I dug a super big hole!

You missed a bit in the corner!

Back home we had another snooze until OTL had to go up the hall to collect TM and all her stuff.

We kept watch from the bedroom window until we saw the car then rushed down stairs to welcome
TM back!

Let's hope that tomorrow it will be a bit warmer, that wind off the sea can really set your teeth on edge!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  1. Robbed of snow, I thought you were going to tell me but more serious robbed of sleep, that early morning slumber cannot be replaced by any other slumber, poor little darlings and then being robbed of your not too favourite food must have been a bit of a bonus. It was supposed to warm up today, I haven't been out but Michael has been Heron hunting and said that they cannot taste of chicken either and that it was freezing down at Capstone Park. The lady in the cafe says the park has three herons, we only discovered the other day that there were two!
Hope TM has had a lovely day at her Master Class and with her gone out there won't have been any mess made so tomorrow no turbo charger will be needed. Wonderful lighting over the coast, glad you had your coats on today, the ferrets look all cosy with their built in coats except for the bottom. If they walk in front of you then they will be more sheltered. Have a warm snugly evening with perhaps a few nibbles. xxxx

  2. Oh you poor lot, that naughty TM buzzing on her turbo broomstick again ........... tsk. You could do a deal with Snowflake and Mr Brambles, you could swap biscuits, that would keep you all happy. It was cold, glad you had your flying jackets on this morning, I still feel a bit sorry for the ferrets though. It must be quite breezy down by the beach first thing. Lovely pictures and the colours on the morning one are fantastic. Fair play to you Daisy putting that rude woofer in it's place, a cold nose on your chuffer is just not on! Glad you managed to get your snoozes during the day, hope it makes up a bit for the early morning call. As Sue says, TM shouldn't need to get the broomstick out tomorrow as she's been flinging glue up the village hall, so hope you get a lay in. Enjoy your evening naps in the warm, love, licks and wags from little ( I would never put a cold nose on a lady's butt) Arch xxxx
