Yacky Dar Woofers!

Yo Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here in sunny South West Wales!

Sorry we didn't get to do our blog yesterday but we didn't get down here until late, (The Missus kept on stopping for a wee!)

We didn't even get the ferret tower up until today!

Well, after doing a few minor repairs on the electrical system Old Two Legs had problems with the water system. There he was pumping water into the water tank and TM telling him that the tank was empty!

It then dawned on him, the stopcock was open and the water was pouring out as fast as he could pump it in!

Then the pump stopped working and he had to rig an emergency power to the pump to make it all work!

We managed to get a seriously good walk this afternoon.

We went down to the beach and wow! What a beach! It is enormous and loads of sand everywhere!

Just look at this Playground!
Holly and I were running around like Potty Puppies and Holly was trying to plough a furrow by using her nose!

Then she rolled all over the place on her back and was wriggling her butt to wobble down the beach!

I dug a few holes and got sand all over me!

Best thing was, OTL didn't tell us off, instead he was laughing his head off!

There was a stream running down the beach and into the sea, I splashed about in it but Holly jumped over it, she doesn't like wet paws!

and I made this Sand Castle!
Then I dug another hole!

Digging a Big Hole!
OTL hasn't got his camera out yet, so the photos are from TM's Eye Fone!

We have a Doggy Walk on the camp site but it's not really big or long enough for us, just OK for a wee, so Holly and I will insist that we go down the beach more often!

It has been sunny and warm and we are looking forward to a super holiday, except Thursday when we expect loads of rain and wind!

We are not worried 'cos we have had some blowy times up in Scotland and on top of that, we have got our rain coats!

Big Waves!
The waves are rather bigger than at home, OTL says it has something to do with the fact that there is just open ocean out there and nothing to stop the wind and waves!

Just what it will be like on Thursday we are not sure but it will be fun!

We are off for a short walk now and then we'll be mugging OTL for some nibbles!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

  2. helloooo girlies, so glad you all arrived safe, sorry to hear about the problems with the stop cock and that but your OTL is a very clever chap and he knows how to sort these things. That beach looks amazing, just think of all the fun and mischief you can have there. My mum says has your TM got her crafty stash out yet and has she found any crafting shops? Did you come across any nargles or yakky dars yet? I've had a thought, if you'd taken that ropey thing with you, you could have tried surfing. I bet Snowflake and Mr Brambles are looking forward to getting down on that beach, have they got any rocks there for them to do their rock climbing on? Have a good evening all, thinking of you all down there by that gorgeous seaside. Happy muggings and looking forward to tomorrows blog. Love, licks and wags from little Arch xxxx

  3. Well, Croeso I Gymru, (Welcome to Wales) Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles .... so glad you finally made it to Wales and that the sun is shining on you. That beach looks really lovely and full of sniffs, I bet there are a few Yacky Dars hiding in those cliffs. I have been watching the weather forecast and Thursday is promising wind and rain, Remember you are on a bit of rock sticking out into the Irish sea so if it gets too blowey you could see a few leprechauns getting blown over from Ireland, or worse you could end up over there yourselves, best thing to do is cosey up in the Caravan and sing to scare them off. Looking forward to hearing more about your Welsh adventures, and hopefully there will be loads of pho does,So Nos Da that's goodnight in the lingo ... I don't speak it myself but my Missus does, when people speak Welsh to me I just give them a lick on the nose and wag my tail, licks and woofs from Jasper and her indoors xxxx

  4. What a beautiful beach, that should sort your holiday out good and proper, sorry to hear you had water problems but all sorted now. TM must have unpacked her stash by now and started being creative, here's wishing you good weather and take advice about the leprechauns we don't want you swept to further foreign lands, Wales is far enough. xxxx
