Famous? OTL?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma back again!

We were glad to read that Nipper and Archie Babe patrol the garden together and it's good to know that Archie has someone to look after him when it's dark!

Hairyplanes flying over your house? We reckon that Izzy and Hamish are very brave putting up with that! When ever we have been flown over by those jet things, Old Two Legs is normally driving and thinks that some big vehicle is skidding down the road towards him and he goes into panic mode looking for the offending monster!

When he realises that it is a jet, he mumbles all manner of curses upon its 'After Burners'! You see, down here we are just not used to such things!

After yesterdays pictures of the sunrise OTL was showing off a bit about how good they were and decided that we could share his pictures with another audience.

What he has done is to join the Weather Watchers on the BBC. What you do is to log in and tell them what the weather is like where you are and you can upload a picture to prove it!

OTL has logged in as Ferret Man 'cos he said that they might not like it if he called himself a Woofer Man! Dunno why, it is OK by us!

So, the picture for today is:-

Cloudy, Damp and Windy.
OK, so it;s not so dramatic as yesterdays pictures but you can't have a sunrise lighting up the sky every morning!

OTL has had his photo on the TV before when the sea froze. He showed The Missus and she sent it off to the local TV people who used it on their weather forecast, only they said it was sent in by TM, not OTL, so she got the glory and OTL got the hump!

So, if you ever see a weather picture on the BBC Weather Program from 'Ferret Man', you know where it came from!

We met up with The Lads who agreed it was Cold, Wet and Windy!

Morning Lads!
May and April enjoyed a run along the Grass Path but OTL did have to pick April up for a little carry!

Not that worried May 'cos she was running almost all of the way back!

Unlike Freddy who spent a long time trying to convince OTL that he had a broken leg!

If I walk on it any more it will fall off! Honest!
He got picked up and carried for a little while OTL inspected Freddy.

That was it, Freddy was 'Sussed' again and he ended up having to walk almost all of the way to the car!

Now, because of the 'Slow Progress' Freddy was making, Holly Dog got a bit fed up with waiting and headed off towards the 'Bench on the Hill' to wait for OTL to catch up.

Along came another woofer and his Two Legs, 'Hello' he says, 'are you lost?'

With that, Holly was clipped onto the lead and marched back down the path to where OTL was slowly walking along with Fred & Wilma.

Holly was not happy and was mumbling all sorts of comments about being left alone to sit watching the world go by without being kidnapped!

OTL said it was good that we had people who were kind enough to worry that Holly was all on her own!

Holly didn't think it was fair that she had to walk all the way back up the hill again and she reckoned that the TL should have carried her back to where she was 'Kidnapped'!

No Chance!

We are off to finish off our Lambs Heart now, so, bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, (I'm not lost!) Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

  1. Yo maties, no Daisy, you've got it wrong, it's me wot protects Nipper. I make sure that the fox isn't lurking, ready to pounce on Nipper, I don't think I could stand the sight if those 2 got together in a skirmish. I'm glad to hear that OTL has sent some of his pictures in to the weather programme, wots wrong with him calling himself Daisy's Dad though? I'll be looking out for his photos on TV anyway. Hasn't it been a horrible, cold wet day today, I've decided to stay in the warm, snuggled on the sofa. I don't blame April for wanting a carry today, I bet her little paws were very cold. Way to go Fred, he's my hero, he comes up with the best excuses. Poor Holly, fancy being kidnapped, wot if that TL had taken her off in the other direction? I'd have been very cross if someone tried to kidnap me, specially if they had no treats to tempt me. Enjoy your lambs heart girlies and have a lovely cosy evening. Love, licks, wags, sniffs, nips and growls from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Greetings from Cumbria! Cloudy, wet and windy up here today. I'm glad that OTL is going to send his photos to the weather people but why isn't he called OTL instead of Ferret man. I reckon that everyone will think he's from up north and wears a flat cap! I'm sure that they will show a photo because they are always so good.
The photo of Fred made me laugh today. He has some very imaginative reasons why he can't walk! He had best learn to speed up as we don't want poor Holly to be kidnapped again. The TL was very kind to worry about her but what a cheek to make her walk up the hill twice. Couldn't he see that she has been on a diet and didn't need the extra exercise.
We don't only have noisy hairyjets overhead here. We also get giant, double ended whirly birds that follow the hairyjets. Most dangerous though, are the buzzards with sharp beaks and talons. Hamish told me about when I was a little white pup and two buzzards kept circling and calling as mum walked us up the lane. She kept me on the long lead in case they swooped down and flew off with me, thinking I was a lamb! Now that would have been a photo for OTL to send in!
I'd best go now as I've been keeping mum company while she waits for my dad to come home from the village pub. OTL might like to go there as tonight it stayed open til 2am and sold wobbly juice. Mum just made dad drink lots of water and then had to help him put on his pyjamas. I think the wobbly juice makes you become a baby too and gives you windy pops. Mum is trying not to laugh.
I have to get up early tomorrow as I'm off to the groomers for a haircut. I can hardly see through my fringe so mum keeps trying to put a pink bow in it...I don't think so! Hope mum's set her alarm. Love, wags, woofs and licks from a very tired Izzy xxxxxxxx

  3. So now we have a weather man and a lost cause, how interesting! Very nice of the TL to take Holly back but I can see her point having walked all the way up the hill she was marched down again. A bit like The Grand Old Duke of York but he had ten thousand woofers (men)! We shall watch out for the TV pictures, off on our travels in the morning, where we are they have Ted simply lovely almost like you and now Emily who was a lost woofer until she was taken in. She is the same breed and about two years old, never been trimmed, all knotted with tics but now clean and trimmed, Ted likes her now she looks respectable. Happy about your nice dinner, TM keeping her new year resolution? xxxxxx
