A Dook a Day Keeps the Vet Man Away!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here!

We had such a good time last night watching the James Bond Movie! Holly was doing all the fighting bits and I was doing the driving bits and Old Two Legs was pretending to be 'Q' on account he likes the 'Techy Bits'!

The Missus was pretending to play the 'Baddie' except she says she won in the end and the film was wrong!

We invited the ferrets down but they said it was too late and anyway they were just too tired!

This morning TM took us out for our walk while OTL was giving April her meds. Then may and April entered into their game of 'Chase'!

It was so funny that OTL grabbed the camera and took some video of them playing, problem was, he had left the settings on 'Manual Focus' so the film is a bit fuzzy, (a bit like OTL)!

The audio is OK though!

A Dook a Day!

You know it's hard to believe that Miss April has a heart condition the way she races around trying to beat up May!

Then there are the stairs, she is up and down them as though her tail is on fire!

We could have done with some fire to warm us up when we went out at lunchtime, the wind was coming in off the sea and although there were some blue bits in the sky it was still cold!

Too cold for swimming!
As we were walking along the Sea Wall we spotted a Monster Fish on the beach!

It was one of those 'Flat Fish' like a Sting Ray but without a tail! Holly reckons it was a Halibut but I said it looked like a Black Nelly Fish.

We had a sniff but there was nothing too exciting. Then OTL had a look and said it was some sort of inflatable cushion!

Who would want a cushion that big?

We left it on the beach and we reckon the next tide will wash it away out to sea!

An Oblong Nelly Fish!

We were glad to get back home and cuddled up on the sofa.

Holly said that she keeps thinking about Archie Babe and his Itchy Butt, 'cos Holly used to suffer like that but it wasn't itchy but rather a 'Grubby Butt' and she just felt the need to rub it off, however, the way she would scrape her butt on the ground only sort of 'Spread it About'!

It was always followed by a Butt Wash when she got home!

Still, we hope Archie Babe gets those Vet People to sort him out!

Hey, maybe if he learns to Dook like a ferret he could get away with not going to the vets?

Well, it was just a thought!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. Afternoon girlies, smoochy Freddy, Mrs TM and OTL. Loved the video of the page 3 girls playing tunnelling and dooking. Next we need to see a video of Freddy De Ferret with his chat up lines playing with Miss Wendy. I bet it was exciting at yours watching that James Bond film. I see you had no coats on again, I'm not going out without mine on at the moment, that wind gets right up your tail. My itchy butt was sorted yesterday so I'm fine for a few more weeks. Tell Holly if she sits on the carpet and rubs her butt it takes any itches away, not sure about anything else though. Now, I've been dooking into this dooking business, I reckon with enough practice I could do it, I've got the tunnelling off to a T, I tunnel under the throws on the sofas and practice my digging skills do you think I could become an honorary ferret yet? I've been snoozing most of the afternoon, my boy has been looking after me until my mum came home this afternoon and he has worn me out, he cheats, he leaves the back door open so I don't have to keep making him get up and go to the door, this is so not on. Don't worry, I've still managed to keep him on his toes with other things so he didn't manage to get to sit still for very long at all. My mum came home with lots of things for me to sniff at, I just hope that wasn't my treat money she's been spending. My mum enjoyed her time with Lucy's mum and dad at the show. Have a lovely, snuggly, warm, cosy evening with maybe a few little snackettes. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Miss April is really fantastic the way she goes on, she is back to enjoying her life in Godwin Towers, lovely to see the video even if not BBC broadcast standard, he is still learning! Loved Archie's comments,he should do a Diary himself, he leads an almost as exciting life as you missus three ferrets and Holly, I am sure he could manage as he has tamed Nipper very well. Now we must wait to see if Holly's Halibut goes back into the sea with the half boat or (roll of drums) if it hangs around for a while. So 007 struck the right note in your house, silly ferrets not wanting to take part in the action, they could have got some good ideas for the next rampage around. Have a good Monday, lots of treats, a bit of blue sky and even a bit of chicken or ox heart. As it is 12-35 pm here it is 29th February, the day a young lady can ask a nice young man to marry her so you can send a little note to Archie. xxxxxx
