Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and 'Mr Smoochy' himself, Freddy de Ferret!
OK, we know it's Saturday and Saturday is supposed to be for relaxing but Old Two Legs was out this morning climbing over roofs and up a water tower!
He really should know better at his age!
So, while The Missus took us out for out morning walk, OTL was packing all his stuff into the car ready to head off to the 'job'.
Before he went both sets of ferrets were allowed out for a rampage around the house. The Page Three Girls had a great time in OTL's office lifting the carpet up with their noses and making a tunnel from one side to the other. Then they would chase each other through the tunnels and over the desk and across the computer keyboard!
OTL says that one day they will make an order on the Amazon web site and cost him a fortune!
Freddy and Wendy were out as well, but not at the same time, and now have taken to chasing each other around the lounge. Next thing we hear is Wendy chuckling her tail off as Freddy has grabbed her by the scruff and is dragging her across the carpet!
She must think it great fun 'cos all we can hear is her chuckles!
OTL says that it is a sort of 'Ferret Chat Up' but I think that a woofer sniff is more romantic!
When Freddy has finished there are lumps of fur on the carpet that Wendy has lost in the tussle. The funny thing is that when Freddy lets go, she then chases him and gives him a nip behind the ear so that Freddy starts chasing her all over again!
Today we had a treat, Ox Heart!
Now it has been some time since we had any of this and of course, it tasted wonderful!
Holly and I woofed it down in no time flat and settled down to wait for OTL to return!
Lunchtime TM took us out again and the wind was blowing across the fields, so no hanging about too long sniffing the sniffs!

Holly is into all this 'Seacret Agent' stuff and reckons she has a Double O call sign as well.
Now I've heard this story so many times now and as I keep telling her, 006 3/4 just doesn't have the same ring to it as 007 does!
Holly doesn't care though, she says that she graduated before James Bond so that is why she is 3/4!
Yeah Right!
We will be watching it and at the same time trying to stop Holly from cheering every time a baddy get blown away or thrown into the pond!

Evening girls and Mr smooch, Mrs TM and OTL. Sounds like a day of fun at yours. Now, first thing I noticed, where are your coats? It was freezing today and after yesterday I thought you would be all snuggled up in your flying jackets. I'd have worn thermals under my fleece today on my walks if I'd had some. The Freddy is a gold tongued chappie, I bet he'd be a hit with all the girls the way he sweet talks them and treats them. It seems Miss Wendy likes a bit of rough. Glad to hear that Miss May and Miss April had some fun in the office, playing tunnelling. I bet it was cold up on them roofs for poor OTL. Oooh you must be in Mrs TM's good books for her to cook you ox heart. Did you find any lerts on your walk with Mrs TM? I've bumped into quite a few of my woofer mates today on my walks and we've share the secrets of the best sniffs. I have to have an early night tonight, my mum is working in the morning then going to meet up with Lucy's mum at crafty sale thingy so my boy is in charge of me and Mr Nipper for the day. Well actually, I'll be in charge and them two hooligans will have to do as I say. Enjoy your film tonight, tell Holly she's pretty enough to be a Bond girl, so are you Daisy. ReplyDeleteHi my southern friends. What a scary blog today, I was on the edge of my seat gnawing my claws. First OTL is climbing ladders onto roofs, the ferrets are on the rampage and Freddy and Wendy are playing rough! Then Holly dog turns out to be a secret agent spy, only a 1/4 of a level from the master of espionage - James Bond. I suppose if any Russian spies try to knock OTL off the roof and chase him down a tunnel, then Miss April and Miss May can burrow down and chase the baddies out so that Holly dog can do a leap and take them out whilst Miss Wendy bites their ears and Freddy de Ferret does a roll and knocks them off their feet. Daisy, I think that you need to stay with TM and run in to rescue OTL...oh dear, I've got a bit carried away again. Must have been all those treats mum gave me earlier. Have to go now. ReplyDeleteOh the great excitement, everyone chasing everyone except poor OTL, nobody is wanting to chase him across the roof, good thing really, he has enough to cope with as it is without being chased as well. So a new spy has been ordained into the James Bond fold, Octodoggie, well perhaps not, doesn't have that certain ring that Octopussy does! Good try though, it might catch on. Love the descriptions of the chasing, those little ones have great fun, hope Miss Wendy doesn't loose too much fur with the cold weather she will need one of your flying jackets in a small size. Ox heart, what is this I hear, you must have really caught TM on a good day when you sent her shopping, let's hope it keeps up, the iron will keep you warm. Hope OTL has finished his work, looking forward to seeing some pictures of his adventure, have a Super Duper Sunday. xxxxxx
