Another tick off the list!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back with you again!

Didn't it rain this morning?

We hung about before going out and Old Two Legs was busy studying the radar looking for a 'Window' in the rain clouds.

We got down to the car park and waited five minutes before setting off down to the beach.

We never got down to the beach, we did a quick wee and a poo and headed back to the car!

It was just too wet!

Lunchtime the rain had stopped so we picked up Fred and Wendy and headed off to have a dig in the sand!

Freddy Boy was the first on the beach and started to dig straight away!

OK, I'm first!
Then little Wendy was down and digging but managed to get some sand up her nose which made her sneeze!

This sand gets everywhere!
It wasn't raining but there were dark clouds blowing over the top of us!

Impending rain!
Once off the beach both ferrets had a great time rolling in the grass and sniffing the sniffs!

Then they chased each other almost all the way back to the car park!

Come on, I'll race you down to the car park!
Holly was playing 'Hide n Seek' and ducked down in the 'outlet channel' in the sea wall.

OTL spotted her!

Bet you can't see me!
I was keeping an eye open for any new ships out on the sea and I spotted what looks like a 'Ro-Ro'.

This is a small ship that is used as a car transporter and the vehicles Roll on and Roll off, hence the name of 'Ro-Ro'!

Another tick off the ship list!
OTL went off this afternoon to get some paperwork down to the car people. That way when he goes down to pick it up tomorrow, the car will be fully insured!

Holly and I are looking forward to having a ride in the new car but OTL says we got to have clean paws before we will be allowed inside!

Dirty paws? Us? Never!

See you tomorrow!

A Ferret Break Out!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back again!

It has been an 'Exciting Day' today!

You see it started off all sunny and warm. When we got to the car park by the sea there were loads of rabbits waiting to be chased!

Holly and I did our best but those pesky rabbits run away before we had a chance to get them!

Rabbit Pie?
Down on the beach the tide was in and of course, I just had to have an early morning dip!

OK, where is the stick?
While I was splashing about I spotted a ship on the horizon, heading into the River Thames. It was a small, container type cargo ship.

Another one to tick off the list!

A Container Cargo Ship!
Old Two Legs found a short stick and kindly threw it out into the water a few times so I could get my exercise swimming backwards and forwards into the sea and back to the shore!

OK, just one more time!
Back home there was some of that 'Posh Scoff'  that I am getting a taste for and Holly will eat, but only as a last resort!

OTL went off cleaning the ferret cages, The Page 3 Girls first.

After they were put back, Fred and Wendy were let out for a rampage around the house. It all started off OK but after a game both ferrets disappeared!

I mean, really disappeared, like nowhere to be seen.

What was worse, The Missus had left the kitchen door to the garden wide open!

Panic Time!

OTL reckons the ferrets have a fifteen minute start on him and we didn't know which way they were heading!

TM was banging on the neighbours front doors asking them to check their back gardens for little furies on the rampage.

One neighbour went up to the football field just in case they had headed that way while OTL was looking under all the bushes in the front gardens.

Then there was a shout from one neighbour that they had seen a small brown thing down the side of their shed and OTL was there like a flash, it was Wendy looking all confused and scared!

She started to come to OTL when he called her but a dog woofed in the next garden and Wendy disappeared under the shed and refused to budge!

While this was happening the neighbour returned from the football field to find Freddy in her front porch looking for food, as he does!

TM marched him off to his cage and went back to help OTL coax Wendy out from under the shed.

It took a slurp of Ferretone to entice her far enough out from under the shed, and OTL poking her with a broom handle, for TM to grab Wendy.

Poor little girl was all scared and shaking and looking terribly worried!

Plus, she had been in some terrible sniff under the shed which OTL had to wash off her before she went back into the cage with Freddy!

So, all ended happily, ferrets back and TM will have to make sure the door is locked next time!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

A Day For Rolling in Sniffs!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here again!

The Missus is pleased with her You Tube Video and has returned the laptop to us!

The weather has been 'Acceptable' like, not too hot and not too cold!

On our way down to the beach Holly came across a irresistible sniff and got into trouble by having a roll!

I don't care, I just Got To Roll!
Miss April rode in the ferret bag all the way down to the beach but she was soon into hole digging as soon as her paws hit the beach!

This is a 'Hole' lot of fun!
Miss May was soon after April and down onto the sand to dig her own hole!

This is how to dig a hole!
I was down in the water having a 'Deep Paddle' and spotted a container ship out on the horizon.

Another 'Tick' in the record book!

You just can't beat an early morning dip!
April says that although digging in the sand is fun, she still prefers the grass sniffs and rolling in the clover!

No sand in your claws here in the grass!
Lunchtime Miss Wendy was first on the beach and she soon set about ploughing the beach with her nose!

Brrrm, Brrrm!
Holly spotted another ship and she said it was a 'Gravel Gulper' on it's way out to the gravel banks!

I Eat Gravel!
Mind you, Holly said she felt 'Lazy' today and spent some time 'Resting' in the beach!

I could do with a cushion to rest my chin on!
Young Freddy was having a great time under the Sea Kale plant, he said there was a slug and he was having 'Discussions' regarding ownership of the Sea Kale bush.

Freddy said that he had 'impressed' upon the slug just how sharp a ferrets teeth are!

Mmmmmm! Tasty!
Back home we all settled down for a snooze before dinner!

Hey! It's good news that Archie Babe is cutting down on the medication. Having to chew on all of those pills don't half give you a thirst!

On Friday we have got to attend the vet 'cos it is time for our Worming Tablets. They taste horrid and it is always a laugh spitting them out again after OTL has wrapped them in Yum Yum food to tempt us to eat them!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

We're Back!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, here we are, back again after the laptop was hijacked by The Missus to produce a 'How to Do' video! ( https://youtu.be/KyuxQzOaFWI )

It seems that the video is made and saved in one file format, then, the editing program saves it all in another file format and finally YouTube won't look at either of the formats and requires yet another file format!

In the end it was all changed and uploaded to YouTube only to find that the video was too long!

Old Two Legs had to extend the allowed video length, which was a bit of a trick!

Finally it was up and running and we now have a smiling TM!

What have we been doing? Well, to be honest, not much! Sniffing on the beach and rolling in sniff!

We have also started to do 'Ship Spotting', you know, it's a bit like Bird Watching but a good deal slower!

This is the first sailing ketch. That thing hanging down is a sort of movable keel if the wind blows!

It has one on the other side as well!

Yo Ho Me Hearties Yo!
Miss April is responding well to her medication and is even pushing and shoving May out of the way, a bit like Holly on a mission!

Gerroutamyhole!
Mind you, she still gets tired quickly but she knows just how to get a lift!

Gissa Lift OTL?
OTL is a real sucker for a sad face!

Holly and I spotted another ship going past, it was a Sea Going Tug, heading for a cargo ship that was coming into dock at Sheerness.

A ship designed for Shoving!
Now that we got the laptop back we will be able to get the blog out earlier!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

Wot a Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

It has been a super sunny day today and Old Two Legs has been suffering from his Hay Fever!

Where we go for a walk down to the beach the local parish council have been out cutting the grass. This means that the pollen has been blown up into the air and because there is little wind, it drops back down again to rest on the cut grass.

Now, that's OK but when you walk on the grass, you blow the pollen up into the air again and straight up OTL's nose and into his eyes and mouth.

Result?

He has been sneezing his tail off all day!

When he get going it can sound like thunder!

Last week they blew down the last building at the Power Station and you know what? OTL sneeze is louder!

I wonder if we should give him the job of blowing down the chimney!

OK, your next!
Down on the beach OTL took a photo of the sky and clouds and on inspection we found that a UFO had been captured!

We have zoomed up the picture and reckon it is a bumble bee flying past!

An Unidentified Flying (Buzzing) Object!
Because it was so warm today, OTL decided to let the ferrets get back into the bag if they got too hot. Miss April was the first one back and stayed in the bag, sitting in OTL's cupped hand, all the way back to the bench. It was only then that she decided to get back down for a wee and a poo before getting back to the car!

I want a lift!
Lunch time it was even warmer and Freddy took full advantage of the 'Lift Option' and got carried all the way back to the bench!

Miss Wendy said that he was a Lazy Ferret who needed the exercise 'cos his tummy is too large!

She showed him up by running almost all the way back to the car!

Where is the Yellow Filter?
Today the clouds we quite dramatic and OTL said he should have brought his B&W camera but as he wasn't wearing his coat, there was nowhere to keep the camera, the ferrets having taken over the 'Ferret Bag!

So, you will have to look at the picture and pretend that it is in B&W and it looks 'Dramatic'!

Not sure what the weather is going to be tomorrow, sunny we hope and OTL is going to charge up the batteries in his B&W camera, just in case the clouds get all 'Dramatic'!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Freddy finds out what a puddle is for!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

Wot a glorious day it has been today, loads of sunshine, no storms and plenty of sand to dig in!

I see May is digging another hole!
Even little April joined in the fun!

She decided that a lift in the ferret bag was a good idea, so, while she was looking at the world over the top of the bag, Miss May was rampaging all over the beach!

Watch it, she's started to look our way!
When we got back home, The Missus grabbed the car and headed off to do some shopping while Old Two Legs got going with the ferret cage cleaning!

Freddy just loves his time out of the cage while OTL is doing the 'House Work'.

He chases Wendy up and down the stairs and she sometimes attacks him and runs away, looking over her shoulder, just to make sure he is following!

OTL says she is a 'Right Tart' just like Holly Dog!

We got out again at lunchtime and headed down to the beach but today the tide was well out and I didn't get a swim!

If only that tide would hurry up!
I was thinking how I could get a paddle when young Freddy came along the Sea Wall and announced that he was just Too Hot!

He asked just how a ferret could cool down before he got home.

Then I had an idea!

Stick with me Freddy, I've got an idea!
With all this rain we have had over the last few days, there has been some deep puddles left on the roads and the grass path, so, on our way back to the car I told Fred and Wendy to have a swim in the puddles!

Freddy galloped down the hill with Wendy on his heels and then they both went splosh!

I could get used to this!
Wendy rolled over, got soaking wet all over then raced out of the puddle for a roll in the grass leaving Freddy to swim up and down the puddle!

Now I'm going to try breast stroke!
Back in the car we had to give them both a rub down but OTL just couldn't wipe the grin off Freddy's chops!

Holly and I decided to stay at home while OTL went off to get the big car. You know what? He was crying all the way home!

The weekend is here, so we plan to have some fun. OTL says he may open up another bottle of whisky to celebrate the results of the referendum. He said that back in 1975 he voted for  joining but says that it hasn't been such a big deal and now he reckons we can get back to making Britain 'Great' again!

Me? I know nothing, as long as I can get my nibbles and a walk, I'm OK!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

We Need an Ark or Two!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here again!

What a night!

We all went to bed at the normal time last night but as we were sniffing our way around the garden Holly noticed that the evening light was 'Strange'.

Old Two Legs said it maybe had something to do with the coming thunder storms but we couldn't see anything on the horizon so we headed off to bed leaving the thunder storms to play with the clouds!

Around three or four this morning there was an enormous thunder storm over the top of us!

There was crashing and banging and lightening and rain.

In fact there was a lot of rain, masses of rain and thunder and lightening!

The Missus and Holly got up to watch it while OTL and I just rolled over and carried on snoozing!

When we did finally get up we saw that the pond was full to the brim!

The ferrets said they didn't hear anything, just like OTL, they go into a deep sleep!

We went down the beach and Holly was looking at the water, which was at low tide, and reckoned that the amount of rain we had this morning she had expected the water to be up to the Sea Wall!

Not much change here!
Mind you, there were puddles all over the place on the grass paths. Even Holly had to get her paws wet!

We spotted a rabbit ahead of us but because the ground was all wet and soggy we didn't even bother with chase!

Nah! Not worth getting wet paws over!
We had to go through some big puddles on the way to the beach and outside the Mini Two Legs School there was puddle big enough to float a boat on!

OTL said that what we needed was an Ark!

Launch HMS Ark!
Lunchtime was no improvement and the tide was still out. It was also very muggy, just like it is before a storm!

I got down to the beach first and just couldn't resist a paddle, well, a deep paddle, well OK, A SWIM!

Ooooh! I need this!
OTL got down to the beach with the ferrets and once they were sorted and digging holes, OTL threw a stone into the water and told me to 'Find It'!

but It's Sunk!
Holly, who was sitting on the Sea Wall, was highly amused and called out that if we stay any longer we will all get wet through to the skin!

What a Bozo, swimming in this weather!
Back home to find out that the big car was not going to be finished, some sort of 'Wrong Delivery' or summat!

The Missus wasn't too happy about that 'cos tomorrow we were going to do another video on 'Glue Slapping With a Wet Fish' or something like that, or maybe it was 'Slapping a Wet Fish with Glue and Glitter'!

Who knows, if she gets her act together we could still do it and be home in time for tea!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Home Alone Again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Today has been a BORING DAY!

Old Two Legs had to take the big car to the menders this morning to get it fixed but he didn't let me know just how early he had to be up!

I mean, there we were at three in the morning woofing off a couple of cats in the garden when who should come down the stairs?

It was The Missus!

She was not a Happy Puppy being woken at such a time!

OTL was fast asleep, getting his strength up to get out of bed at five!

By six we were out in the small car heading for the beach, just Holly and I 'cos the ferrets were all asleep and refused to get up so early!

Back home by seven and then OTL and TM were out again leaving us woofers to guard the house!

By the time they got back, Holly and I were just having a little snooze after our early start!

We got some Posh Scoff and while we were eating it, the pair of them sneaked out again to do some shopping!

I mean, this is just not on!

Back they came at around three and Holly, Fred, Wendy and I got a run out down the beach!

Poor May and April just got a rampage around the house instead of a trip down the beach, the were not Happy Ferrets!

On top of all that disturbance in the force, they didn't get a run out and had to spend all day kicking the poo pot around the cage!

Well, a ferret has to have some way of making a little noise!

OTL, being in such a rush forgot to take the camera out with him. This morning it was because he was still half asleep and this afternoon 'cos he totally forgot it!

Tomorrow he goes to pick the big car up, so we will have to give him lots of cuddles to get him to stop crying!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Sand Holes R Us!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Yippee!  It has been sunny again today! Just to balance it all out, the Pollen Count has been through the roof!

We know that 'cos Old Two Legs has been sneezing his head off all day!

Poor Lad!

It's a good job that Woofers and Ferrets don't suffer from Hay fever!

Down on the beach it was just great with a hot sun on our backs!

Morning Sun!
We all had a good dig in the sand and May and April had a wonderful time digging a whopping great hole so big they almost disappeared!

Ferrets in dar hole!
Holly and I got into the swing as well and were digging and rolling in the sand!

Sand Shovelling!
Back home OTL has been hiding in the office all day trying to keep out of the pollen that has been making him sneezing his tail off!

Lunchtime we took him out again and as the tide was in that was a good excuse to go in for a super cooling swim!

This is the business!
Fred and Wendy didn't go in for a swim and tried to keep in the shade until they got to the grass where they both hid under the grass to cool down!

That's it, keep to the wall!
We saw a big ship heading up the Thames and it was carrying four big cranes!

Steady as you go Number One!
Back home we all headed for a shady spot for a snooze and Freddy didn't move all afternoon! Wendy tucked herself under the blanket and didn't move at all!

Holly spent the afternoon on the sofa guarding her Bonio Biscuit while I stayed with OTL in the office.

Tomorrow we are off early to take the big car in for some repairs so we will be up and out before we normally wake up!

That's going to be hard!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Loadsarain!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Wot a change from yesterday It was all sunshine and Factor 35 and today it's Trench Foot and soggy tails!

Yesterday, as the sun disappeared over the top of the house, Old Two Legs took some pictures of the pond.

OK, Wot are we looking at?
Well, The Missus was out yesterday counting the flower buds on the Water Lilly plants and she reckons she could see eleven of them!

It was a shame that the sun had gone over the roof 'cos that means the jar wasn't dispensing water into the pond!
Blooms beginning to burst!
The yellow and white blooms were ahead of the pink ones but we could see them underneath the Lilly Pads (leaves)!

Boo!
This morning we were out early this morning but we still had to wear out rain coats. The ferrets didn't have rain coats so April climbed back into the ferret bag and May tried to cover herself with sea weed to keep the rain off her back!

Does my butt look big in this?
The rain kept on falling so we didn't hang about. April stayed in the bag until we got to the bench, then she ran all the way back to the car!

Holly and I were right behind her and May and we all got a rub down with the Doggy Towel and even OTL gave his legs a rub!

Lunchtime walk was late 'cos OTL reckons he could see a 'Window' in the rain and it might be long enough to allow us a dry run!

Weeell, it sort of worked!

We drove through rain all the way down there and there were loads of large puddles that we splashed through! It was still raining when we got to the car park but it was slowly getting drier as we sat there looking to see if the rabbits were about!

No rabbits, but the rain stopped and off we went!

Down on the beach the ferrets got going on a fine looking trench!

Even Holly was impressed and asked if she could lend a paw!

Want any help?
I was down the other end of the beach having a sniff and a swim!

We headed back to the car and as we went back the rain started again, and it got heavier as we got closer to the car!

Fancy a swim Holly Chops?
By the time we got back to the car we were all wet again! I did say to Holly that she couldn't get any wetter if she had joined me for a dip!

Back home we got dried again by TM who was ready with the Doggy Towel!

We had some of the Posh Doggy Scoff and settled down for an afternoon snooze with chew beside our paw!

Claws crossed we may get some sunshine! Well, so far today we have had nearly thirteen millimetre of rain today and that doesn't include what is coming after the blog gets published!

Maybe tomorrow OTL will try again to photograph the Lilly Blooms!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
