Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!
Well, now we know all about Piper! Even better, we will meet next week!
Old Two Legs didn't know that but The Missus like to keep him in 'Mushroom', in the dark all the time, she reckons that is the only way to keep him on his paws!
OTL has another opinion but we will leave that for now!
It hasn't been as hot today and the sun has been hiding behind the clouds but at least it hasn't been raining!
We went out with May and April this morning and April decided she would play 'Hide and Boo'!
So, when OTL put her down on the grass path she ran away into the grass and hid. Now, all OTL has to guide him on her location is the lead he has in his hand!
Sneaky April runs into the grass, the around in a circle twice and then hides.
OTL comes looking and can only find the lead tied around the grass and thinks that April has got out of her harness!
Then behind him he hears.............................BOO!

Lunchtime Freddy and Wendy came down the beach and we had a game of 'Dig and Whizz' which is great fun 'cos we all go whizzing along the beach and Holly and I have fun jumping over the top of the ferrets!

We have been standing guard by the pond but there is no signs of any frog or froglets or even tadpoles!
So, we reckon that they have all packed up their bags and headed off to the marshes where there are thousands of frogs croaking their heads off every night!

Helloooo little maties down by the seaside. It's been quite hot here today, I've been sitting inside in the shade while my mum has been doing her jobs. We had a little siesta this afternoon cos we was both quite hot and tired. Lovely pictures today, good to see Miss April playing in the grass. Now come on Miss May, that trick you've copied off of Freddy just doesn't work anymore. I wonder if Freddy and Miss Wendy were bothered by low flying woofers, they look like they're enjoying it. Glad you managed to get a dip in today. It will be lovely to meet a new woofer friend. We're not mentioning frogs today here, mum was cutting the grass and even though she rakes it all as she goes, well you can guess the rest and my mum is very upset, I'm giving her extra cuddles but she's still very upset over it. We do love our frogs. Hope you get some good muggings this evening and a good snooze. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from Little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteSo the cat is out of the bag or the dog is out of the car, there you have it, a very soft fluffy Piper all black, you be gentle with him. That's a good game of hide and boo, a bit worrying for OTL but the look on that cute little face says it all. Hope the jar has been doing its "filling the pond" when the sun came out, I shall look forward to seeing it, your pond area looks amazing, a lot of hard work but well worth it. Do you think the frogs are frightened by two big woofers constantly looking out for them, I bet when you have gone for a walk they come out and dance on the leaves and blow raspberries! We are going to Smarden for a couple of days and taking the solar Queen who carries a handbag and does a "Royal Wave" in the sunshine, I may toast her a happy "another" 90th birthday, this will be the third time we have celebrated on her behalf, getting a bit costly. xxxxxx
