Down to Zero Degrees Here!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, here we are again and we have some good news!

No, we haven't won the lottery but nearly as good!

Old Two Legs has been taking May and Eric out for a walk but has had to take two travelling cages 'cos they start picking on each other. Now, with all this bed hopping and cuddling under the blanket, OTL thought he might try the old 'Two Ferrets in One Box' trick!

It worked!

There were a couple of squeaks as they settled down but no more as we headed towards the beach!

Progress or wot!

Mind you, I suppose the cold also helped them 'cos they were both snuggled up in OTL's arms all the way down to the beach!

There were no clouds up in the sky and OTL reckons that was the reason why it was so cold! A real taste of winter to come maybe?

I reckon it's time to get back to the car!
Young Eric was willing to have a stroll along the beach but he did point out that his bits were getting cold when he stopped for a rest on the cold sea shells!

This is definitely 'Brass Monkey Weather'!
Eric has never seen Winter before 'cos when he was born in May Time this year it was all warm and sunny!

We have all seen cold winters and Eric already agrees that Summer is Best!

Lunch time Fred and Wendy were down the beach and they both agreed that it was better at home!

Fred said that he knew a Brass Monkey had passed this was 'cos he found two round objects in the sand!

OK, so, they maybe stones but they could easily be from a Brass Monkey!
Wendy told him to stop messing about and to shift his tail 'cos there was a warm bed waiting in the car and it had her name written on it!

Come on, I need a warm bed!
Now I'm not sure what the temperature is going to be tonight but our weather monitoring thingy whatsit will be able to record it! Now, a nice twenty five degrees would be an ideal temperature!

Not too sure what is for dinner tonight but Holly and I have decided we will do some serious mugging 'cos we fancy a change from Doggy Scoff!

See you all tomorrow and hope you all keep warm!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret

  1. I hope you got some real nice muggings because the cold weather needs nice muggings to enable you to get through the night, good luck! Twenty five degrees were you talking centigrade or Fahrenheit because I think you will get the Fahrenheit thing more likely. Good news on the snugly May and Eric, that's the way to be especially with all this cold about. It is a lovely time for photography with all the orangey lighting, you look beautiful with the November glow, soon be December though hope you have made out your Christmas lists before the doggy shop runs out of chicken strips, you don't just want a load of poo bags and antiseptic wipes, no, no, no! xxxxxx

  2. Evening little maties at Godwin Towers. Loved all the pictures today. Well I wore my fleece when I went out this morning cos it was well frosty and I was crunching along in the cold. I bet Miss May was more than pleased to snuggle up to Eric in the traveling cage to keep warm, it's good to hear that they didn't have a scrap, I reckon they both know that it's much nicer to snuggle than have fisticuffs. Poor Freddie, it sounds like Miss Wendy is a bit bossy with him but I'm sure he can handle it. Some of us chaps quite like a bossy woman to keep us pawing the line. Hmmm now Sue has a point, it is about time to think of wot we all want Santa Paws to bring us, I'm going to tell him wot a good boy I've been this year and see if I can blag extras from him. Now who is feeding you and Holly chops doggie scoff? Do mention that's wot you're getting fed when you write to Santa Paws, I'm sure he'll be noting it and making a naughty list of TL's who don't feed their woofers nice stuff. Hope OTL's tooth if feeling better. Have a good evening and as Sue says you need some decent muggings to get you thru these cold nights. I'm off to do a patrol then a snuggle up with my mum. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  3. That's right Archie, if all the TL's stand up for the poor little woofers and report to Santa Paws he will sort out these erring TL's who don't do the right thing. xx
