Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
We were up on time today, well, just after six when Old Two Legs rolled out of bed! By the time we got down onto the beach the sun was up and the wind was blowing!
Today the wind had swung around to the East and that means the wind comes in straight off the North Sea!
As Holly says, the wind has a 'Bite' to it!
I found a ball that had a puncture and OTL kicked it for me to chase. I showed it to Holly and invited her to play a game of 'Catch'. That is where she throws it up in the air and I run up and catch it in mid air!
Come on, have a game with me! |
I'll hide it here until tomorrow! |
Don't worry, we'll find it for you! |
White Hats? Nah! White Horses! |
As we came off the beach, Holly and I spotted a load of Two Leg walking their woofers, all visitors, so we decided that we would give them the 'Woof Off' woof that us locals give when we see strangers.
I started off, standing as high as I could, I gave them a fine rendition of 'Woof Orf'!
Now just 'Woof Off'! |
For just a couple of seconds!
....................................an' yer can stay 'Woofed Off'! |
OTL had to pick up the ferrets, tuck them under one arm and with the other arm he held up his had in front of the Bozos face and said in a firm voice .....'No!'
Then he said 'Back!' and pointed back towards the TL's, would you believe it? The Bozo walked backwards and then wandered off to his TL's who were waiting down the path a bit!
Brave OTL!
One last look at the sea showed even more white stuff on the sea, it was going to be good when we got back to the car, no wind and a warm heater!
More White Stuff! |
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties wot tell strange woofers to woof off. I don't care which direction that wind came from it was woofing cold. I didn't enjoy my walk and my mum had to keep waiting for me cos I just wanted to turn round and go home, it was way too cold for me. This afternoon we were on our way to get in the car when I saw my mate Alfie, so I just had to go and say hello to him, I'm going to his house tomorrow morning cos his mum does my grooming, now I had a word with Alfie and I asked him to turn the water off at the mains so his mum can't put me in the bath and make me wet. Alfie said he'd do his best but he wasn't sure where to turn the water off. I'm sure he'll sniff out the tap though. After Alfie gave me a good licking, I got in the car and went down the vets to say good bye and get some cuddles from Sarah and Paisley, they're both leaving this week so I had to make sure I got cuddles with them, Sarah is one of the best cuddlers I've met so I will miss her very much. My mum has been busy sloshing ink and stuff today so I've just snuggled up to her on the sofa while she sloshed. We had a nice lay in this morning though, you can't beat it when my mum doesn't have to go to work at the crack of dawn, specially these really cold and windy days, I agree with Holly, that wind had teeth today. Looks like you were up for a good game with that ball, wot a shame Holly chops didn't feel like joining in. Hope you didn't mind Wendy and Freddy digging up your ball, I suppose they're worried that you might not find it tomorrow. Don't you and Holly look really brave telling them woofers to woof off, good for you. OTL is very good at commanding woofers. I bet that bozo woofer won't mess with the Godwin clan. Was Wendy and Freddy blowing raspberries at him? Glad to hear that Eric got a move on and ran all the way back this afternoon, I bet Miss May was pleased he didn't hold her up in the cold wind. Have a lovely snuggly evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx p.s. Have you heard how Mr Mike got on with his sniffer at the hospital today? xxxx for Mr Mike
ReplyDeleteYou look like those marmosets standing on two legs, you have taken a hint from them so that you can see further. Still very cold I went to Rochester cathedral this morning on a tour while Michael travelled to London for his operation, he said in was freezing on London Bridge and a strong wind blowing. I like your pictures, better sitting here in the warm watching the sea in your pictures than being there myself. It is suppose to be getting warmer with 12 degrees on Wednesday but don't get too excited and don't blame me if it is wrong. Take care and get your coats on. xxxxxx
