Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Saturday is for clearing the office up, well, cage cleaning and all that stuff!
We let Old Two Legs get on with all that stuff 'cos he knows just how it should be done and being that he has a bad sense of smell, the ferret poo doesn't have the effect it has on us woofer noses!
Of course, the ferrets have a grand old time rampaging around the house, play fighting and chasing The Missus!
Then it's back to the cage for a snooze before going out for a walk along the beach!
Wendy and Freddy were first out this morning and the wind was doing it's howling in off the North Sea.
Not very nice, not very warm either!
Lunchtime it was the turn of May and Eric and the weather was still the same, cold and windy!
OTL went to wake them up to put their harnesses on and Eric refused to wake up!
A ferret's got to have eighteen hours sleep every day! |
Someone say Walkies? |
While we were down there we heard that little Prince, that Poodle Doodle Dog had run off. So OTL put us in the car and went off to help look for him. It seems the whole village was out looking and after an hour we had to head for home. Little Prince was still missing but with the number of two legs searching we hope he won't be lost for long!
Now, we like the sound of Archie Babes new car, is it a sporty 'Soft Top' so the wind can blow your whiskers about in the summer breeze or maybe it is a big posh saloon car with soft seats and a place to put your chew as you are being chauffeured along on your way to the shops?
Tomorrow is TM's birthday, now, we have been forbidden from saying just how old she is but we are planning to sing 'Happy Birthday' first thing tomorrow and OTL has put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge and we are going to have a Chinese Takeaway with loads of Plawns and Plawn Clackers, and other super stuff!
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties down by the seaside. Sorry it was cold and windy down your way today, it was a bit windy but very sunny here, mind if you were out in the wind it was a bit chilly but for most of the day it has warmed up a bit. My mum says she is going to buy the new car, she say's it's a colt, now I thought that was a horse. We're hoping to get it for next week but my mum is looking at all the forms she has to fill in for the old one and then getting tax on the new one, she's not fond of filling in forms. She says it's not got a soft top cos she knows I don't do wet and if you forget to put the top up then you get wet. I haven't seen it just yet but I hope it's a comfortable as our old one. I don't blame them ferrets for not wanting to get up or go out. My mum is kicking herself cos she thought Mrs TM's birthday was later in the week. Enjoy your take away, we're getting a Chinese as well so I might just see if I can pinch a plawn clacker if old hawk eye doesn't spot me. Have a lovely evening all and happy birthday for tomorrow to Mrs TM xxxxxxx Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteDaisy, Daisy, I got a plawn clacker ............. my mum was emptying the plates and a plawn clacker fell on the floor straight into my mouth :) love little Arch xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteAnother frozen day, the ferrets have a good idea with all the sleeping, in fact I read your diary, fell asleep then woke up to comment, not that it is boring but I had a busy day helping at a charity craft sale all morning then having lunch at Margaret's all afternoon. I feel dreadful that I didn't remember it was a TM's birthday, you must give us longer notice in future. Has she unpacked all the goodies yet and has she had a play, then did you get any presents and did OTL get a present??? I see Archie has managed a plawn clacker, fell straight in his mouth, a likely story! Hope Prince has been found, have a good day with the F1 and snoozing and above all else keep warm xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHi all my Southern friends by the sea. What lovely photos of your ferrety brothers & sisters. Looks like you've had a lovely day in the sunshine. It's been a scorching 20 degrees here today. Genie and Lady came for a first walk with Bella & I. All our leads twisted like ribbons on a maypole as they danced and twirled and jumped from side to try to checking out all the good sniffs. Hamish and Little Tommy are in Scotland on holibobs visiting our Dad's mum. Hamish used to live with her when he was tiny so he's been taking Little Tommy to this massive beach with white horses - that's the waves apparently. Dad has sent a video of Tommy running free with Hamish on the beach. He is having a great time. So the boys are away so the girls can play - after we've done the washing, cleaning and eating doggy scoff.
ReplyDeleteWe are sending great big birthday licks to TM for tomorrow. Enjoy your plawn cwackers tomorrow. Love, wags licks and sniffs from Izzy xxxxxxxx
Hope little Prince has been found, he must be so frightened and I bet his TL's are very worried as well. xxxx little Arch xxxx
