Roll on Summer, I want a swim!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It has been another cold and windy day today, horrid weather, horrid cold!

It was Miss May and Eric's turn to go out first this morning and they said they would have rather stayed at home tucked up in their warm cage!

Old Two Legs insists that we all get some exercise so as soon as their paws hit the ground they were heading back to the car!
Come on Eric, shift yer tail!
The wind was blowing the sea and making 'White Horses' as OTL calls them. If it had been a lot warmer I would have gone for a dip but today, no way!

Not exactly ideal for swimming!
OTL has been plonking away on the computer 'cos the end of the month is coming and there is something called 'The VAT Quarter' arriving, which always makes him grumpy!

Lunchtime it was Wendy and Freddy who came out with us and it was still blowing in off the sea.

Miss Wendy wasn't in a good mood 'cos OTL had to wake her up to get her out of the cage and she was having a super dream!

It didn't help when she kept stopping if a big cold breeze came roaring along the 'Grass Path' and poor Freddy just doesn't stop very well!

So Freddy ends up running into the back of May and she is not best pleased with his cold wet nose under her tail!

Do that again and you're a 'Dead Ferret'!
Back home it was 'Tidy Up Time' in the office and OTL was stacking all the paper into neat piles, just ready for the ferrets to have a game with tomorrow morning!

We're off to watch the recording of the F1 Racing Practise Session on Australia.

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Afternoon little maties down by the cold wet seaside. It's been very, very chilly here today as well. I wasn't that keen on going out for a walk but my mum made me. That wind is enough to freeze the wotsits off a brass monkey! I don't blame any of the ferrets for not wanting to go walkies in this cold wind. I hope you and Holly chops didn't get too cold. Maybe if all 6 of you went on strike and layed down and refused to walk OTL might re think his exercise plans. Good news, the car that my mum is thinking of buying passed it's MOT today so now she and a neighbour are going to see it again tomorrow and the neighbour is going to give it a good check out for my mum so paws crossed he reckons it's ok for me to ride round in. Enjoy watching the racing. Tell OTL not to work too hard. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Hello little chilly four legs, this exercise regime is a tuff job in the cold windy weather and the little ones are even nearer the ground than you, couldn't you offer them piggy backs rides back to the car? Looks like Archie is going to have a new limousine hope the seats are soft and fluffy for his journeys to Kent. Why is Miss May stopping like that, she will need a horn to sound to that Fred knows in advance, his nose is suffering getting all banged about. Have a warm day hope the racing goes good and keep dry xxxxxx
