A day for paddling in the sea!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, young Eric overslept this morning. He was up most of the night partying and generally making a lot of noise! He decided that he was going to make the most of his birthday and he wanted everyone to join in, whether they wanted to or not!

Old Two Legs had decided that Miss Wendy and Eric were coming with us this morning 'cos Fred and Wendy came out yesterday morning. The midday sun being too hot for ferrets!

I was first onto the beach and as the tide was in, so was I, straight in for a splosh!

An early morning dip, just what the vet ordered!
By chance, young Eric was close behind me on the beach and said that he fancied a quick splosh as well! He has been practising at home with a plastic tray full of water and a few squeaky balls!

It keeps running away!
I was too busy chasing the bit of wood OTL had thrown in for me to rescue!

Come here Sticky Wicky!
After a good swim I had a really good roll on the sandy beach and ended up looking like a sheet of sandpaper!

Even Eric said I would be in trouble when I got home!

How do you make it stick?
Lunchtime OTL decided that it was cool enough to let Fred and Wendy come out for a run and although they didn't get into the sea, Wendy managed to get a good paddle in the rock pool!

Oooooh! It's cool on my tummy!
Fred decided that Wendy could do the paddling for him as well! Mind you, he gave Wendy a good cuddle when she came out of the water!

OK, I'm dry enough now, shall we go back or carry on digging this hole?
After the run we were all tired so we spent the afternoon snoozing while OTL was playing on the computer!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Hello Sandpaper Miss, I expect OTL gave you a good wash down to get rid of most of the sand. Lovely to see you in the water, I can see Eric joining you soon. We had a hard down pour about 3-30 pm it sounded like someone pushing a trolley in the building where I was. Have you found the shower thingy? xxxxxx

  2. Evening little maties down by the seaside with sea. Looks like you enjoyed your swim. I got wetted today at the groomers, I didn't enjoy it though. My mum says I look nice and clean and I sniff nice, I don't like the sniff so I'm looking for rolly sniffs in the garden to get a nice aroma on me again. My mum said I've got to stay clean cos on Tuesday I'm going to meet a new vet. My mum has decided that we are going to a different vets cos they've changed who owns where I go now and if I'm not well during the night I have to go to a vets a long way from where we live and I won't know them. My mum says this new vets are good cos she used to take Scrapz the woofer she had before me to them. I'll let you know on Tuesday evening if they meet with my approval or not, it will depend on whether I get decent cuddles or not. You all look like you've enjoyed the beach today, little Eric is getting very brave. Freddy looks like he's got too much sense to get wet. Glad little Eric enjoyed his birthday, I don't blame him for making it last, he has to wait a whole year before he gets another one and that's a long time for such a little chap. I hope you find the bit missing from the shower, you don't want to loose the balls down the hole. Hope Holly chops is over her grumblies. Have a lovely evening and hope the mugging is good. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx
