Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!
Today we get to go to the Kent County Show! It was all rush and tear this morning, The Missus took Holly and I down the beach for our morning walk and Old Two Legs was busy clearing the ferret cages out!
It was about nine thirty that we turned up on site and there was loads of horse boxes all over the place!
You could sniff the horse poo a mile away!
Once we got out of the car Holly and I were all over the place sniffing the sniffs all the way to the entrance!

When there was no bowl, OTL got our bowl out and the bottle of water and we had another slurp!
There were woofers all over the place, some doing 'Fetch' demonstrations and the rest of us were just watching!
Mind you, we did see some really soppy woofers, like the one who felt he needed a cuddle when the hunting hawks flew around!

Finally there was a winner who seemed a bit confused about why every one was cheering!

Of course, as soon as we found a shady spot we were joined by another woofer who was getting too warm!

I must admit, that water tasted great!
Later on in the afternoon we decided that it was getting too hot and headed back to the car where OTL turned on the air conditioning and before long we had all cooled down!
Back home the ferrets were fast asleep and snoring their tails off!
Tomorrow Izzy's mum is off to get some scaffolding for her back so we all wish her well and get better soon.
We are off to bed now, all this walking around the show has made us tired, so it's an early night for us all!

Evening little tired maties. Well you certainly had an interesting day. Glad OTL made sure you had plenty of cool water to drink. Loved the pictures. Wot a silly bozo cuddling his mum in public. That ferret racing looked good. Was OTL tempted to bring home a couple more? We've all been very tired today cos some bozo neighbours had a party last night and they were making such a racket we couldn't sleep. We all slept in this morning cos it was gone 3.30 before we could settle and get off to sleep. Good job my boy and my mum didn't have to go to work today. We all snuggled on the sofa to watch the latest Star Wars film and we had movie snacks. None of us have been out the front door today, don't think any of us had the energy, it's been hot and we've been very tired. My mum has made a card from me and her to Izzy's mum. well I helped a bit as well. My mum stamped loads of bumble bees while we've been watching telly. We're going to have an early night, my mum is working in the morning and tomorrow afternoon but I'm on babysitting duty again cos my boy is home all day tomorrow. I'm off to watch the Durrells now before bed. Have a lovely snooozy evening and hopefully you'll get some muggings. Good luck Izzy's mum, we will be thinking of you. ReplyDeleteA nice day watching more ferrets and no rain on the Show Ground, wonderful, I know it was warm but at least a nice drink helped whereas if it had rained all the sniffs would have been washed away! Fancy that big woofer having a cuddle, did you and Holly try to get picked up too? xxxxxx
