Still no Paddle!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret again!

Another muggy day with a few clouds!

There may have been some clouds but it still maxed out at 30 degrees here in North Kent!

First thing this morning it was cool enough for May and Eric to come out with us and they enjoyed a ferret around on the beach, digging holes and rolling in the sniff in the bottom of the hole!

Go and find your own sniffin' hole!
Mind you, I found a good sniff and of course, I just couldn't resist a roll my self!

This is how it's done!
Young Eric loves a roll but he really enjoys himself when he is climbing, rocks, chairs or even Old Two Legs bed!

Will I need all my climbing gear on this one?
Lunchtime was a bit of a downer, I got strapped into the harness 'cos OTL had spotted that the tide was in and I was looking a bit to lovingly at the water!

I don't think I'll get a dip today!
I was right, OTL kept me well away from the water!

When we left home it was clouding over and the temperature had dropped and OTL thought that it was OK for the ferrets, well, by the time we all got to the beach it was all stinking hot again, so, the ferrets didn't get their run around.

Miss Wendy had a wander along the beach then climbed back into OTL's arms along with Freddy Boy!

This is getting too hot for me!
I just sat on the beach wishing!

I wish, I wish, I wish!
Back home both ferrets had dried out after being dunked into the drinking bowl so OTL gave Miss Wendy another dunk in the water tray and then a good rub down with one of our towels!

Freddy ran off and hid under his bed, he reckons he was wet enough!

So that really is our day, hot and damp!

So far we haven't heard how Izzy's mum is doing after her operation so, claws crossed, it all went well!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Hasn't it been hot today again. Now I really don't like this heat and I had a grumbly tum in the night and this morning and lunchtime so my mum took me off to the vets. They decided they wanted to keep me for the afternoon and I was put on a drip and my mum told to come back for me after she finished work. Well I'm home now but I've still got that big steel pole in my leg, I've got to go back in the morning so no lay in after my hard day. I've got that horrible pro-kolin stuff to take ....... yukky, yuk, yuk. I did enjoy myself though and I've twisted a few more nurses and vets round my paw. Them wimmin just can't resist me. My mum has a letter for the college, just in case I come the old soldier and need to go before my appointment at the crack of dawn. My mum's purse is crying. I've got a nice pink and blue bandage on, I prefer the blue myself. I didn't do any singing, I was a bit shy, I don't know them well enough yet to sing in front of an audience. Anyways, sorry to hear you didn't get your dip but that sniff you rolled in looked a good un. Glad the ferrets got out even though it maybe wasn't too long. I might have a little snooze then have some scoff, little and often, I've made sure my mum heard the often. Hope everything is going well for Izzy's mum. I've got out of going to the groomers tomorrow, now I have to think up something to get me out of going when my mum makes my next appointment ....... hmmmm running out of ideas but I'm sure I can think of something. Have a lovely evening all with some nice muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (brave soldier, martyr to myself) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Reading this, I thought, Clippers, well do tell, what happened, has OTL practiced on TM yet?
What sorry tales, there is you not being able to have a swim and Archie with a big pole in his leg! He does know how to exaggerate, that little lad with two bows, maybe he will save them for you and Holly. Poor little hot ferrets need air con in their house. xxxxxx
