Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!
It's been another sunny day, well most of the day was sunny but there was a little rain this morning, something to do with thunder storms over France.
As far as we are concerned, they can keep them!
The Missus has been getting all the washing done, the important stuff, like the ferret blankets and our doggy blankets that go on the sofa and the bits of chopped up towels that Old Two Legs uses to give our butt a wash when we get the 'Grumbly Tum'!
First thing this morning it looked horrid, dark grey skies and even the ducks were still hanging about!
Not exactly the brightest of starts! |
It had climbed up and the wrapped it's 'Foot' around the branch and over his head, just to stop the rain from soaking his hair do!
Wot I really need is an umbrella! |
Ever since he has got these trimming tools he seems to want to give us a trim almost every week!
The post has brought his 'Confirmation of Booking' from the Hadlow College where he has enrolled in a course to teach him to cut our hair properly!
It contained a receipt for the money and a list of 'Useful Information', like where to park the car, where to meet the tutor, wear closed toe footwear, oh and bring a packed lunch. Then they tell you that you will get both Hairy and Wet!
As if he didn't know that!
Lunch time we were down the beach again but without the ferrets 'cos OTL says it would be too hot for them.
When we got down there, expecting to have some fun digging the ball up, what did we see?
Tourists! Loads of them taking up all the room on the Sea Wall and even on our beach!
Look, they are sitting on top of the hole! |
Holly did one of her 'Big WOOFS' and that shut them up!
Woof off of our beach! |
So tomorrow we are expecting a new one to arrive!
That should be fun, especially if the ferrets get hold of it!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties. Another busy day down there at Godwin Towers. We had rain first thing and then the sun came out and has stayed out all day. I went up the shop to get some treats and cuddles from Brenda. I was supposed to go get my butt checked but my mum didn't feel very well and so she wanted to stay near the bathroom, so she cancelled my appointment. Now I thought the fresh air would be good for her so I've kept her busy going in and out of the garden all day. My mum reckons I've been a bigger pain than her tummy ache but I reckon she'll seize up if she sits down too long. I think there should be a sign on your beach, "Tourists keep off" fancy sitting on your holes, I hope they fell through them. Sorry to hear about Mrs TM's turbo broomstick, do you think it was too much glitter and glue that made it die? Nice clean blankets sound good, I hope Mrs TM didn't mix them up with OTL's smalls. Smashing pictures again today. Have a lovely evening all and hope you get some decent muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteSnails are very clever to be able to do that, with an umbrella you have to continually hold it up. Will OTL get a certificate with this course, I can see him sheep shearing next as long he doesn't get the two mixed up. It was bad enough when the new groomer went in a tad to close and left just fluffy ends! Hope the new broomstick is quieter, it will be for a while because you have to give them a good change up before using. Quite right you tell these tourists whose beach it is, all the clean blankets and butt clothes don't make any dirty or you will be delaying everything. I liked looking at all your pictures, well all but the first one. Have a good old snuggle and a nice mugging and get prepared for Wednesday xxxxxx
