Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!
Wot a super fun day it's been and we came out on top, as normal!
Let me tell you of our adventure!
It started this morning, there we were looking forward to a run on the beach but when we got there, it was raining!
We didn't feel too happy about that, I mean, I don't mind a swim but rain drops on my tail, no thanks!
You know, I've had better walks! |
Auntie Zoe and all the family, and then there was Auntie Jane and her family, which includes three nine month old Jack Russel/Poodle cross woofers!
We have in the past referred to them as Jack Doodles!
Normally we keep well away 'cos three can be a bit of a handful!
We decided to go down to the beach to stretch our legs before lunch.
They all look like tourists! |
.....and we got permission as well, I think! |
Of course Holly and I sat on the beach laughing our tails off, I mean, we haven't done that in years!
What was funny was that they had to go back in the mud to keep it wet 'cos every time they came out it started to dry and they couldn't run properly!
This is getting all stiff under my tail! |
'ere, let's have a rub on your back! |
A right soggy doggy! |
It looks like fairies! |
A Nargle Crab! |
If I have a good shake, would that count as a bath? |
Look, it's almost dry now! |
A brush would get it all off! |
Then they got a rub down with our doggy towels which I must admit, made them look a lot better. Of course, they sniffed like a load of tarts!
I'll bet they remember today for a long time!
All three gave OTL a licky kiss on his nose as a 'Thank You' for being gentle and not getting soap in their eyes and ears!
We are now looking forward to a good snooze on the sofa this evening!
See you all tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties. Ooooohhhh I did have a laugh at them little woofers getting all muddy, now would you adam and eve it, fancy going plodging in mud, no self respecting woofer would do such a thing, specially as it would mean being plonked in a bath with soap and being washed. I bet you and Holly chops couldn't believe it, nice one Daisy, it beats getting in trouble yourself. Now I was looking at the picture of the tourists, there's one there in a check blouse, I'm sure I've seen her before. I bet the mini TL's thought it was funny seeing them woofers all muddy. Loved the pictures today, those bubbles do look very pretty. Now I might have to remember when I come to visit that OTL keeps a large bath in the shed. I don't do SOAP AND WATER. That crab looked a bit small to eat. Did Ethan put it back so it could grow a bit? Sounds like you've had a very busy fun filled day. Have a lovely evening, I bet you need a snooze now. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThat was a grand old day and mud, mud, mud, there was an old song that said there was nothing quite like it for cooling the blood, you must find out if their blood was cool! What a big crowd of people, who made Megan cry in the second picture? Just love the muddy doggie look, good to know the bath in the shed was called into service, surprised the trimmers didn't come out he, he. Archie will be thinking hard before he elects to come because he was safe before as you only have a shower but now a bath, oh no! Here's wishing you a peaceful Friday and go away mud, fancy you encouraging those little ones to go into the water when you knew it was mud, oh that is a bad Daisy Dog xx. Terrible of you xx. xxxx.
