Our Banjo Pickin' Guitar Strummin' Ferret does it again!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's been a super Saturday today, we were up early 'cos The Missus is off to the village hall to slosh the glue about and we get to have fun with Old Two Legs and the ferrets!

Now the fun started early as OTL was having breakfast in his office. While he has breakfast, he let's the ferrets loose for a small rampage before heading off for our morning walk. Now, Eric, being an inquisitive little ferret has bee getting into all sorts of trouble climbing all over the cages and on top of the metal cabinet where OTL keeps all his stuff.

Today he has hit new heights!

OTL was spooning a mouthful of rabbit food into his chops when out of the corner of his eye he spotted Eric with his back paws on the banjo and his front paws on the guitar!

He couldn't go backwards and he couldn't go forwards and as he stood there he found out that he couldn't hang on to anything and slid off the guitar and started to head towards the ground, a long way beneath him!

It was a good thing that OTL had a hand free 'cos Eric landed in it!

OTL put him back down onto the floor and the little monster climbed up the cage and then onto the banjo and stopped!

OTL managed to get this photo before 'Rescuing' him again!

Now, where did I go wrong last time?
Down on the beach it was clear of everyone except a Two Legs who looked like he was out of breath 'cos he kept hanging onto the railings next to the steps!

Maybe he has been trying to climb over guitars as well!

Well, he hasn't moved for at least three minutes, maybe he is stuck!
Lunchtime it got a bit cloudy but it was still warm.

Rain? Sun? Warm? Windy? Rain? Sun? Warm? Windy?Rain? Sun? Warm? Windy?
Up on the hill a load of tourists were trying to set light to the benches with their Bar-B-Q!

You can tell it's the weekend!

That's a funny sniff, sausages and molten plastic!
OTL went off to the village hall to photograph the ladies and a super certificate they got from the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue for all the super help they have given this year.

OTL says he has some work to do and will try to get it ready to show tomorrow!

More hard work! Poor Lad!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. You've had another busy day again. Did you manage to come across any fox poo? I went out this morning and met up with my mate Boris the bounce and we walked back together discussing sniffs and the lack of anything sniffy to roll in. We've had a quiet day today but you seem to have had excitement even before brekkie. That little Eric is a pickle, wot a good job OTL caught him. Maybe OTL should put up some safety nets. Did you enjoy your plawn clackers last night? I hope there wasn't any drunkenness going on. Has OTL got to air brush out all the glitter and glue from the ladies down at the village hall? Poor chap is always working. I bet Mrs TM enjoyed her day. Have a lovely evening and enjoy any muggings, love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Good morning from sunny Chatham, yesterday I saw some ferret racing at Benenden Tractorfest, when I saw racing it was very slow and they kept turning round and going back along the tubes and one was too lightweight to trip the flap and couldn't go further until someone helped. We didn't see the usual two people there only some younger TLs but we mentioned having friends with ferrets and walking on the beach and straightaway she knew exactly who, "Ken" she said! There was a Rescue Greyhound Centre who had some needing homes as well as some who didn't and happy for the fuss. A dog show where you just went with your TL and paraded around while they gave your name, breed and age. The judge had to choose from about 40-50 woofers who he would most like to take home. One food stall had cheese on toast on with a drop of Worcester sauce and a cup of tea, very nice, there were still ones with bacon rolls, burgers, pizza, Chinese noodles, jacket potatoes etc. etc. you would have loved it.
I think Eric needs a few lessons, he must reside which instrument to specialise in, has OTL got a drum kit and a banjo, sorted. Another money making idea ....................
Look forward to seeing your pictures of the Glue Slappers later, I bet Archie didn't come because of the fox poo incident, his mum doesn't seem to have the same thoughts on fox poo and you, she doesn't understand. xxxxxx
