Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!
Now, we almost forgot but this weekend is Bank Holiday. That is where the Two Legs get in their cars and drive to a local motorway where they sit in their cars for hours on end!
It is also the time when the railways get mended by shutting down the trains so no one can go anywhere over the Bank Holiday! The same thing happens with the aeroplanes and then everyone spends all weekend sitting in the departure lounge waiting for Monday so they can go home!
Down here in North Kent we have got some early tourists getting onto the beach early to reserve their places!
We are lucky to get this spot! |
I know we look good but they are still not moving! |
Someone help me 'cos I got my claw stuck! |
Once on the path OTL went into 'Hunt Mode' looking for butterflies and snakes and lizards!
Well, today we spotted a Small Copper butterfly which looked all fresh and colourful, so we reckon it is a young one!
This is a Small Copper! |
You can tell when things are getting desperate, OTL starts taking 'Artistic' photos!
Well, if he says it's artistic then who am I to argue, I'm only a woofer! |
Just as it finished, The Missus arrived home from her day out with her mates!
Wonder what is for dinner tonight? I know that we have Doggy Scoff 'cos I've had it served up already!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties down by the seaside with the tourists. I don't reckon they'll go away while you and Holly chops stand there posing, they're probably too busy looking at you and ooohhhing and aaaahhhing at you both. Maybe you could take a little sign with you tomorrow ...... underfed woofers needing decent scoff ...... wot do you think? It might work, they might share their picnics with you both. Now my mum has just read the local paper online and it says there's a ferret been found and has anyone in Welwyn lost one ......... now I was wondering if it might be little Eric on his way to my house for a game of soccer ........ will you go check his cage and if he's missing, I'll get my mum to phone up and tell them where he lives. Loved OTL's photos, those artistic ones are very good but the best is the picture of you and Holly chops. That is a very pretty butterfly, shame the lizards are being shy, I've heard they taste like chicken so if I was you I would help OTL find them. I've been busy helping my mum in the garden today, she's been weeding and I've been pruning. Shame about the doggie scoff, I hope OTL has got something decent so that he can share with you. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx
