Dino Digging!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Well, we've had a good day today, the ferrets have been around the field chasing the pheasants mind you, they had no chance of catching them 'cos they had Old Two Legs in tow on the other end of the lead!

Do get a move on OTL,
Mind you the pheasants didn't hang about!

Watch out, Ferret and Two Legs coming!
Once we had finished out in the field and the ferrets were tucked up in their cages eating breakfast, we headed off to hunt dinosorearses!

We arrived at Kimmeridge Bay where there have been some finds from 150 million years ago! Looking at the cliffs you could see the different layers of mud and shale.

Kimmeridge Cliffs
While we were down there we met up with a couple of woofers who were down for a days exploration. First there was a little ball of fun that went by the name of Millie a super little Yorkie of just five months old!

Are you a Dino?
Joining in the fun was Ted a very gentle Airedale Terrier down here on holiday, just like us!

Ted the Airedale Terrier.
Ted said Hello to OTL and got a tickle on the tail as well! Ted  said he was looking for some Dinosaurs foot prints in the rocks but so far all he has found was Dino Poo!

Now, when we looked at the dino poo it looked just like lumps of rock, I reckon you had to have a strong insides to do that!

Talk about Rock Hard!

I went off looking for for prints, it was a lot safer than dino poo!

No Dino Poo here!
OTL found the remains of some sea animals that had been around 150 million years and that seems a long time to sit in the rocks!

These are Ammonites.
From there we headed into Swanage to do some shopping ant The Missus purchased a pair of Green Wellies!

We lunched on some fish and chips, well, OTL also brought some sausages for us woofers and he even pinched one for himself!

Back home we had a lot to tell the ferrets all about especially the Dino Poo!

As we were telling the story the sun went down and the sky looked all 'Dramatic'!

OTL loves Dramatic!

Night Sky
Tomorrow TM is planning to do some more crafting and of course there is the F1 Racing from Singapore!

Brrrm Brrrrm!

Hey! we think that Archie Babe did the right thing of getting rid of the Parlour Pong, mud and green slime is just the thing!

See you tomorrow

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties, I was beginning to get a bit worried that you might have come across some dinosorarses and been eaten. Loved the pictures today. That little yorkie looks just like Brenda's little Millie and that Airedale looks a bit like a toy dog I've seen in a shop. Rock hard dino poo doesn't sound fun to roll in, I bet it sniffs good though seeing as it's been around for all those years. Now these green wellies that Mrs TM bought, is she going to glitter and glue them? It's been a tad cold here today and we've had a bit of rain this afternoon. Hope you've had better weather down there. How is Holly chops, did she contribute to the dino poo pile? I bet them ferrets had fun running round the field, hope OTL managed to keep up with them. Fish and chips and sausage sound good, my mum and my boy had fish and chips for tea but there were no sausages. Hope OTL didn't disturb you last night with his cough and hope the caravan hasn't sunk in the mud. I'm off to bed in a minute cos I've been up since 4 this morning. Have a lovely evening all and enjoy the racing tomorrow. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Well today sounds just the job with walks including meeting up with friendly woofers, then happy ferrets chasing pheasants, doggies searching for dinosaurs, eating sausage and shopping for green wellies. Just about sums up your day and what a lovely day with quite good weather thrown in. When is TM proposing to model the wellies or are they just for show? Is she expecting to get extra messy in the caravan doing her crafting or is she going to grow vegetables in them? Saturday tomorrow so more of the Dorset TLs and minis around to make a fuss of you two and more oohs and arrrs for the little furries! Have fun xxxxxx

  3. Dear Sue and Archie Babe .. l enjoy reading your " mini blog replies " as much as Daisy 's Dairy! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for the super duper entertainment xx it's beautiful here but so many people ! Weather ... mixed ! Places to visit .. lots ... with woofers .. difficult ! All in all a good time so far but the woofers prefer the wide open, right to roam spaces, north of the border .... off to Scotland in June ! Wearing me wellies for the walkies in the very wet fields. Was getting foot rot !! Lol ... love to you both xxx

  4. Dear Mrs TM, wouldn't miss Daisy's Diary for all the tea in china. It makes a change to find something interesting for woofers on the interweb. My mum reads it to me every day and then if I've got something important to tell Daisy and Holly chops I can answer them. Us woofers need to keep in touch and it's useful to know where there are decent rolly sniffs. Of course I like OTL's lovely pictures of my pin up girls as well so that's double bubble. Hope the weather picks up for you all. Wish I was there, love little Arch xxxxxxxx
