Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!
It's been a sort of 'Middling' day today, nothing over exciting but 'Busy'!
Old Two Legs has been 'Manufacturing' so that has kept him out of our way! The problem we are having is that when he gets a cup of tea, there are no Chocolate Chip Cookies for Holly and I to snaffle!
I mean, that is one of life's little pleasures!
It's the same at lunchtime, like, what sort of woofer will eat a salad sandwich, made with brown bread, Yuk!
Talking of Yuk! This morning we got onto the beach to find a horrid sniffy load of stuff that had come down stream over the last tide!
Holly and I took one sniff and headed back up the beach!
I don't care wot it is, I'm staying well away! |
I wish the wind would change and blow it out to sea! |
Polly is very good at that and Boo is getting good as well!
Yo! OTL, what's that sniff? |
I would love a bit off the flank of the big one! |
I almost think that he would 'cos he is always trying to give Holly and I a 'Nip' if we hang about too long!
Lunchtime there were a couple of woofers who had been in for a paddle in the yucky stuff and sniffed terrible!
They were put on their leads to stop them from getting too yucky!
That'll teach them!
But we only wanted a little paddle! |
I can feel a Sore Paw coming on! |
He wasn't amused!
The Missus is out at the village hall for some more glue slapping, so, that means we could be in luck and raid the kitchen cupboards for some Cookies!
Bye bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Evening little maties down by the sniffy seaside. I quite agree with you Daisy, short rations are not on! Mind, I wouldn't turn my nose up at a salad sarnie made with brown bread, well not until after I'd woofed it down anyways. I think that was really kind of you to offer to share your carrot with OTL, if I had a carrot I wouldn't share it with anyone. So did you find out what the sniffy stuff was and where it came from? Wasn't it any good for rolling in? I wouldn't take Eric on if I was Miss Polly, I reckon he could frighten a woofer. Hope Mrs TM has a good day at the village hall tomorrow, I reckon it might be worth a trip down there, you might get some decent muggings, lots of those ladies take cakes and sweets and other goodies with them to munch on, I'd make sure if you don't get any that Mrs TM isn't cheating and munching on goodies. Good luck with a hunt in the cupboards, maybe you should persuade OTL to drive down the shop on the way home from your morning walk to store up with some goodies and you could hide some in case you all get desperate for a snack. I've got a nice weekend to look forward to, my mum and my boy are both having the weekend off so there will be lay ins and snuggles. My mum has given my boy strict instructions not to answer the phone, cos she found out this morning that her boss hadn't made arrangements for someone to cover her shifts and she says no way is she working this weekend. We're all going to put our paws up and have a lazy time. Paws crossed that you find some goodies to mug this evening, perhaps have a word with the ferrets and ask if they've got some hidden stash of your treats around. Have a lovely evening and a good weekend. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (still wasting away but not as much as I was) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteYou were wise to keep away from the yucky stuff, hope the water takes it away again very soon. Those woofers like to take a chance with ferret teeth and as long as they aren't on diets you and Holly should be quite safe. Poor you with no chocolate chop cookies to sniff at, Archie's idea was superb, go down to the village hall tomorrow because with TM on a diet there will be much, much, much more cake left for you to eat, wonderful opportunity to get a couple of doggie bags to take away. Boo and Polly are very pretty, very cute but a bit mischievous looking they look like they would share your carrot even if you didn't offer. I hope OTL isn't too grumpy without his cookies, salad in brown bread is very nice if you like that sort of thing and something you get used to after years without chocolate chip cookies. I don't buy Digestive biscuits, Michael picks up a couple of big packs on special offer and they are in the cupboard and then they sort of go missing! There was ferret racing in high tube tracks on tv tonight right at the end of Britain by Bike on channel 5 starting at 8 pm lots of people gambling. Have a lovely Saturday xxxxxx
