Wednesday already and we still haven't caught up with the sniffs!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here.

Wot a misty old day it's been today!

We got out good and early 'cos Old Two Legs had a load of work planned for today and he decided to get the ferret cages cleaned good and early. Not that the ferrets allowed that, as soon as they got out they proceeded to play ferret games like, 'Nibble the Toes' or 'Giss More Ferretone' which all involves OTL stopping the cleaning and paying attention to what they want!

Down on the beach it was very misty first thing, nothing interesting to see and no ships going past either!

I see no ships!
Mind you, we couldn't even see Sheerness either!

Wot we did see were the colours of the bushes by the side of the path, even in the misty light they still looked very autumnal!

Yep!  Autumn is a coming!
We didn't get any improvement in the mist when we went out at lunchtime, Sheerness poked its nose out from the mist but didn't stay long!

There! Look! It's Sheerness waving back!
OTL decided to leave the misty bits alone and look for any bright colours he could find. He spent some time chasing a butterfly around but it wouldn't settle long enough for him to take a photo, so, he had to settle for the wild 'Sweet Pea' sort of plant by the side of the path.

Mind you, it wasn't easy 'cos there was a breeze blowing and that was making the blossom move about something terrible!

Just stop for a second or two!
We got to the beach and although the tide was out, Holly and I had some fun rolling in the sniffs on the beach.

Most of the sniffs were of dead crab or whiffy limpet!

I just Looooove a Gooood Roll!
Holly decided to tart about on the beach and kept of running up to OTL saying ' Take my Picture, Take my Picture'!

.....................................and this is my 'smiley face' so, Take my Picture?
Back home OTL got a few orders all packed and ready to go to the carriers, so that was another job jobbed!

Tomorrow he is expecting to see a delivery of some more stuff that he will need to work on before sending them off to the carrier!

It's all go it is!

Now, all this diet stuff is getting very boring. Every time OTL gets lunch it ends up being ham sandwich with a mountain of salad, not the most appetising lunch a woofer could have, I mean, have you tasted those onions? Do you know what a plate full of radishes will do to your backside?

Enuff of these things, we are wondering what is for dinner tonight, something fattening if we are lucky!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Wow it certainly was misty where you are. Loved the pictures today, even the misty ones. That looks a good roll you were doing Daisy, and Holly chops smiling with sand on her nose. All this talk of diet stuff is making me hungry, I'm still on short rations but I should be able to have full rations tomorrow. Now I did have a spring onion the other week, my mum was making a salad sarnie and one of the onions rolled off and onto the floor, well before she could say I've dropped me onion, I nabbed it and down it went ....... can't tell you wot it tasted like though cos it went down so fast I don't think I did taste it. You'll have to tell me wot radish do to your butt cos my mum don't like em so I won't get the chance to taste one. I reckon you need to have a word with OTL, he needs to give you and Holly chops wot you ask for, he gives the ferrets wot they ask for so it's only fair. Hopefully you'll get some decent scoff and proper muggings this evening. Have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (still wasting away) Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Where did you get all that mist from, we have had a nice day and excitingly enough I have had two loads of towels on the line and it all dried. That Essex effect must be strong where you are so I hope the rest of the weeks is better although I doubt it! What beautiful pictures of Lady Holly she looks so happy and jolly you must find out her secret and bottle it at a profit. The diet sounds a bit dangerous if you ask me, definitely not one to be followed by young Archie as he already has his own problems! I hope it pays off in the end (pardon the pun) ummm. OTL sounds busy so good for him, while he is working he may forget how hungry he is, his trouble will be when he has finished work and remembers! Try to take his mind off food, offer him some of your doggie scoff that should do the trick. xxxxxx
