Hello Woofers!
Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Now, you know that yesterday we had loads of plans of what we were going to do today, Castles, Dino Poo, Photography and Nargle Chasing!
In the end we didn't!
It sort of started off this morning when Old Two Legs started cleaning the ferret cages.
We have a sort of Poo Problem, well, Eric and May have this problem really. You see, OTL cleans the cage out, washes all the parts that need to be washed, then he dries the cage, sprays Pet Disinfectant and lines the cage with soft paper kitchen towel to catch the poo and the wee.
After that the water gets changed in both dispensers, a dog bowl and one of those 'Drippy' water things you hang on the cage wall. Finally the food bowl is washed, dried and replenished with ferret food.
Now we are ready for the ferrets to go back in.
In goes Eric and May.
Eric heads for the three ply paper layers, digs furiously hurling lumps of paper all over the place and in the water bowl. Miss May jumps into the food bowl and throws the contents all over the place!
She then dives down onto where the paper was all neatly positioned on the floor, and does a poo!
Eric, from his vantage spot in the 'sleeping cup', says 'That's a good idea' and jumps down, lifts his tail and manages to poo up the cage wall! Next he turns around to have a sniff, just to make sure it was his, and then decides to finish it off with a wee up the other wall, missing all the torn up paper!
OTL is not a happy Two Legs!
So, the ferrets get put back into the caravan while OTL cleans the cage out, washes all the parts that need to be washed, then he dries the cage,
sprays Pet Disinfectant and lines the cage with soft paper kitchen towel
to catch the poo and the wee!
By the time all this is accomplished and the ferrets have been walked, it's lunch time and The Missus says there are some plawns and salad, so OTL decides he will go out later!
Half way through lunch the TV gets switched on 'cos it is the F1 Racing. So, we all sit down to watch the fun and games while at the same time trying to snaffle a plawn or two!
It was a super race, loads of excitement!
After that it was time for a walk, so we got OTL to take us around the field so we could chase a pheasant or two, even though we were kept on leads!
Well, that took us around to just after four fifteen when I decided that I must do my blog!
So, no pictures today and no exciting tales for you, sorry!
Maybe tomorrow?
Bye, bye for now!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Afternoon little maties. Well that was very inconsiderate of May and Eric to wait until OTL had cleaned the cage before they decided to decorate it again with some inconsiderate weeing and pooing. Glad you managed to chase a peasant or two though. Did you manage to blag a plawn or two? I bet if the motor racing was that good you could have mugged some and neither Mrs TM or OTL would have noticed. We've had a reasonable day here but it's decided to hammer down with rain now. I was on guard duty this morning but me and my mum went for a snooze when she got home, not that we got a snooze, next door have been decorating for the last 2 weeks and it's been quite noisy, now today, me and my mum were fast asleep when at 10.30 they decided to do some hammering ........ I don't know wots left to hammer but it's been a noisy day and not restful at all. We're hoping they run out of nails soon. Me and my mum need our beauty sleep. Shame you didn't manage to get to the castle or go in search of dinosorares today, maybe you'll have better luck tomorrow if the weather is nice, paws crossed for you. Tell Eric and May to do wot they need to do before OTL cleans up after them. I'm on guard duty again tomorrow. Happy muggings tonight. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThey say "a picture is worth a thousand words" but I recon "a word is worth ten thousand pictures", I read this to Michael as I read it and he laughed and laughed so much that it made him 🤧 sneeze. All this activity is just so much to bear on OTL and I can see why you did nothing else today. We watched the F1 race as well and it certainly was exciting with Lewis somehow being first after his late start on the grid. Maybe tomorrow you can have a more orderly day when things go to plan, I can't wait to find out!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere was TM while all that was going keeping out of the way if I know her. Hope they didn't decorate her cards for her, that would have caused a riot. We had a lazy day and are resting before dinner, your story has put us back half an hour with the laughing and sneezing, never mind all good fun, I will be waiting for you tomorrow xxxxxx poor OTL x.
