Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Now, we have been doing some thinking and have decided that it's not Eric's birthday at the end of October. You see he was about three months old when Old Two Legs collected him from the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue and Eric will have been with us a whole year at the end of October, so his birthday was set for the first of June and I seem to remember we had a fun day celebrating his birthday!
So, now that is all sorted out, he can only look forward to getting stabbed!
Mind you, there is always the chance of sinking your fangs into the vet when he gets close with the needle!
You can tell Autumn is getting close, the mornings are dark when OTL gets up at six. Even the ferrets are still asleep and down on the beach it's a race to get down there before the sun gets up!

Well, as you would guess, the Nargle got a sniff of OTL and was off like a dragon with his pants on fire and we never got to see it!
We are off now to see what is for dinner, hopefully it is something we can mug off OTL!

Evening little maties. It is very dark when we get up, I don't think anyone should get up when it's dark, I think we should all stay in bed until it gets light. For the last 2 days I've been looking for my garden, I mean, everytime I've been out there's just been piles and piles of leaves and I can't find my grass that I light to wee and poo on. My mum went out this afternoon with her grass detecting machine and she found it for me, so now I'm a happy chappie. I was so pleased I decided to do another poo today. Mind I must admit that there was lots of new sniffs in the pile of leaves but I'm not sure that I wanted to sniff some of the sniffs. We've had nargles up our street for the last few nights. My mum gets up and opens the window and makes scary noises at the nargles to make them run away. I'm coiled like a spring, ready to spring into action if they get thru the window. I must admit that I wouldn't really want to go looking for a nargle though, but I know OTL would protect you from any monsters. Poor Eric, fancy thinking you're going to have a birthday soon then finding out you've already had it and the only thing to look forward to is a stabbing, I don't think I'd be too happy. ReplyDeleteI have put my thinking cap away as I don't now have to make up a birthday song for Eric don't tell him about the stabbing and it may come as a surprise so that he doesn't react. Soon we will be altering the clocks to give lighter mornings but then the afternoons will start getting dark, already it is sometimes dark in the afternoon, I really don't like the days getting shorter and nights getting longer, oh well nothing to be done about it. Are you really sure you want to meet a nargle, I think OTL tries to protect you from them but you all go courting danger! I liked OTLs pictures today, he takes some really cute ones and also interesting ones, we will soon see the changing mornings and the colours at least that is good to look forward to.
