Bo News and Holly gets a hair cut!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Wot a busy day today, after last nights whizz bangs and Holly getting the shivers, today we woke up to the news that it would rain today!

Just great!

The Missus headed off for some advanced glue slapping at the village hall with her mates, leaving Old Two Legs thinking he was in charge!

On the walk we bumped into Poppy and Bo on the beach, Poppy was all over OTL and insisted that OTL give her tummy a tickle!

Bo said that she had visited the vet yesterday an after an inspection the vet confirmed that Bo had four puppies in her tummy!

We all had a sniff and noticed there was a 'different' sniff than normal so we are all thinking up names.

The best one so far is Wind, Fire, Ice and Rain but I'm sure that will change before they all arrive!

We noticed that there was ten Wormy Men out on the mud flats this morning, that means there is a fishing contest this weekend and they are all looking for worms to throw back in the water!

Loads of Wormy Men!
Back home OTL got all set up in the kitchen with the table and the Blaster to give Holly chops a trim.

Instead of getting a bath in the Plasterers Bath she got taken up to the shower in the bathroom and was given a good wash all over, then rinsed off and towel dried before getting carried down to the kitchen.

I must admit, the kitchen was warmer and brighter than the shed and as Holly only had a hair cut a month ago, she didn't need a lot taken off!

In fact, she didn't make too much fuss about it although she had a little wriggle when the blaster was on. You see she doesn't like warm air in her face, even though OTL was holding the nozzle well away!

In the end she looked OK, OTL did a good job on her head and muzzle and under her chin!

She is still twitchy about having her claws trimmed so OTL decided to leave that until next week and give her a quick pedicure before I get washed and shaved!

We are getting prepared for the whizz bangs tonight but as it has been raining we are hoping that  everyone will decide not to bother with the whizz bangs this year!

Well, that would be a good result!

Lunchtime we went down for another walk but there was more rain so Holly and I headed back to the car instead of going to say hello to the fishermen and the ferrets got a run across the football field while Holly and I hung about at the back of the car waiting for OTL to open the car!

I wish he would hurry up, it's raining!
With a bit of luck the rain will have stopped by tomorrow and we can have fun on the beach!

We have heard that Little Tommy is feeling better, been chasing his tail and roaring around like wot a puppy should do, so has he been having us on with the Streptosheepandcatpoo or has he just pulled a muscle in his neck?

We don't care, just as long as he gets better!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Well wot a busy day you've had, no me on the other paw have had a nice snoozey day. It's rained quite a bit here today so I've only been popping out to the garden when I really need to. There's lots of whizz bangs going off at the moment. I hope they stop before I go to bed cos otherwise they might disturb my snooze. Glad to hear that Holly chops had her shower in the warm. I don't reckon on getting wetted when it gets cold. Good news about little Bo and her 4 puppies, hope all goes well for her. She must have been very hungry to get 4 puppies in her tummy. Good news too about little Tommy, paws crossed he's soon back to his normal self and running around chasing his tail and other things. Now why don't those wormy men leave the worms in the sand and then they can swim when they fancy a swim, instead of being thrown in when they might not fancy a swim. Me and my mum had a good lay in this morning, we were both very tired cos we got up a 4 yesterday and didn't go to bed until nearly midnight so we missed out on some of our snooze time. Hope Mrs TM enjoyed her masterclass, I bet the ladies enjoyed it. Well I'm off for a pre bed snooze soon, so have a lovely evening all and hope you get some muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxx

  2. News from here, the rain hasn't put off the whiz bangs they are still in full flurry so we feel for Holly and all the others woofers and more tomorrow, Rye Torchlight Procession and Fireworks are next Saturday so as not to coincide with the big one in Lewis tonight. Good news on Boo and Tommy, lovely to herself. It has rained on and off all day and I had to use my car lights and wipers attending the Church Fete, luckily I found where I kept them. I won some Raindeer Poo (chocolate covered sultanas) some little Christmassy cakes and sweets but I didn't win the raffle. How is the dehydration going, don't go near it, the plasterers bath and clippers are more than enough. It is 8-30 pm now and wow, bang, fizz, bang flash our neighbour is in his drive watching all the bright lights! Hope it is dryer tomorrow for you, the forecast is minus seven tonight so I hope you have a nice warm bed. xxxxxx
