Chilly around the Haircut!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

You can tell the Winter is on it's way, Old Two Legs was all wrapped up in his new coat and he had a scarf wrapped around his neck and his warm woolly hat on 'cos this morning it was blowing in from the North!

The sea looked all dark and grey and the waves had white horses riding on their shoulders!

Mucky water from The North!
Eric was enjoying himself, playing 'Hunt the Nargle' in among the rocks on the beach.

What was that? I'm sure it was a Nargle behind that rock!
We were glad to get back home 'cos that wind was definitely getting places where it was not wanted, especially when the wind was blowing from behind!

It was at times like this that I wish the haircut had been delayed for a week or so!

Back home Auntie Shirley had arrived to play 'Glue Slapping' with The Missus so we left them to it and headed up stairs to OTL's office to have a snooze before the lunchtime walk arrived!

The tide was out when we got back to the beach and Holly spotted a load of Two Legs out on the mud half way towards the Fort.

We couldn't see what they were doing and it was too far away for OTL's little 35mm lens, even after zooming in on the camera!

Holly says that they might be digging for worms or the local TV station might be doing some interviews about the Fort!

We were guessing  and OTL said that there was no way he was going out to see what they were doing!

Maybe they were hunting Nargles?
Freddy and Wendy decided that the whole thing was just too boring and headed off back to the car!

Out of my way, here comes a Ferret!
TM has been trying out the Dehydrator again and has dried some Kale, problem is, it's like eating dry grass! Next time she will try getting some larger leaves and slosh on some more Black Pepper and Lemon Juice, just to see if that gives it a bit more 'Bite'!

So far the apple is OK and The Pear is good and the Orange is great, next it will be a Banana sliced up, not sure if she will put on any Black Pepper though!

Us woofers are all waiting for the Chicken Fillets we have been promised, we don't do Kale or Apple we'd rather have meat!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. I feel for you Daisy, it must be very draughty with the haircut, I hope OTL puts his clippers away for a good few weeks now, it's getting really chilly and that cold wind up yer tail doesn't do your kidleys any good you know. My mum makes sure my kidleys are well tucked up at night so that I don't get any nasty waterwork chills. I have to wear my fleece jacket when I go out for walks now. I wonder if them TL's were hunting nargles, maybe Eric scared the nargles from behind the rocks out onto the mud. Hope Mrs TM and her mate had a good day glue sloshing. Sounds like Mrs TM is getting the hang of that drying machine, watch out she don't put her crafting makes in to dry them out when her paint is wet. Me and my mum are getting ready for an early night tonight on account of we didn't get our morning snooze because next door had the hammers and the drill out today, my mum is right peeved with them. I'm off to the vets tomorrow for my check up and get my prescription for the next 3 months. Paws crossed the vet doesn't find anything wrong, I feel good at the moment. Did you know Hamish is 7 today, I think he got some special birthday scoff. Have a lovely evening, stay warm and hope you get some muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from a very tired little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Please don't invite me to sample the dried grass, the banana should be good because I have bought the crunchy banana slices so if they are like them they will be lovely. I thought you poor Daisy this morning when the weather lady told me it was going to be a Cold, Crisp, Monday Morning, you with your haircut, I think OTL should get some of TMs glue and stick it all back on. It was very draughty all day, Michael was out there working and said about those brass monkeys that OTL knows about. We will have to watch out to see what the TLs were up to this morning, hope they wrapped out well or you may find them frozen solid and still there tomorrow! Keep warm, TM did well having her mate visit her and so not going out so she could drink that bottle on her own. Not silly is TM knowing it was going to be this cold do hope they had fun. Tuesday is going to be hot, also pigs might fly so just keep your heads down and tails up xxxxxx
