Hi Woofers!
Here we are, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Well, it's the end of the year today and we are all getting ready for next year. We have sent Old Two Legs several SMS' and at least a dozen emails reminding him to change the date to 2018!
Not that he will listen, he'll be OK until February then he will forget and slip back to 2017!
This morning it was raining when we went out for a walk and the ferrets managed to stay under the blanket and go back to sleep while Holly and I headed off to the beach.
When we arrived it was still raining and OTL decided to leave the camera in the car 'cos it's not waterproof!
When we got around the corner the rain suddenly stopped! That was it, off we went sniffing and woofing and enjoying a run down to the beach.
There was no sun but the sky was full of grey clouds, in fact we haven't seen so many shades of grey in the sky!
Back home it was a relaxing morning with The Missus getting good results on some newly designed cards she has been making for display at a show in the U.S.A.
She has shown them on Fachache and she says that 'it's gone potty!'
We reckon the Master Classes will be fully booked for the next six months!
Lunchtime came around and as it wasn't raining OTL reckons that it was time the ferrets got some fresh air. Freddy and Wendy said they would rather stay under the blanket but before they could run away they were transferred to the travelling cage!
Off we went and the rain held off all the time we were down on the beach. Miss Wendy enjoyed a scamper but Freddy was chasing OTL calling out for a lift!
It was still cloudy and Holly reckons she could count twenty five shades. Freddy sat down and gazed skyward and announced that there were in fact twenty nine and three quarters shades!
The bit that was three quarters was where two clouds had merged and created three quarters of a cloud while the last quarter was almost black!
Tonight, Holly and I have got bets on whether OTL and TM will stay up to see the New Year in or retire to bed when the bottle of Bollinger runs out!
Happy New Year to you all!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
Gotta be a party pooper to go to bed and not see the New Year fireworks on TV! We shall stay up, plans are sketchy for this evening but whatever happens we shall toast 2018 in regardless. so there!!! All this grey sky day and rain hasn't really been good, I have to have a picture taken to put in my new Dawn French Diary that Ian and Claire gave me, it is called:-

ME . YOU
A DIARY
throughout the year there are 3 places for other photos of me and lots of space for writing, making lists, reading and says on the back cover "Come on in, the papers lovely! it is like a new exercise book, I shall start with my best hand writing.
Good news on TM being an American sensation, when is she getting her medal for "Crafting and Bling Extravaganza", will she be in 2018 New Years Honours List, she works as hard as some of these others! Hope you all have a good start to next year and looking forward to reading more pages from your Diary, you have been a good writer even when you have had sore paws and problems with OTL that have cropped up here and there. XXXXXX big kisses XXXXXX
Yo maties, Happy New Year to you all down there at Godwin Towers. Well it sounds like you was very lucky with the weather, my mum said when she was at work this morning, some of the woofers who came in for their treats were looking like they'd all been dunked in a very deep bath. My mum said they were all soaked. My mum did a paper round at 6.40 this morning and she said it was dry when she started but towards the end of delivering the last 2 papers the heavens opened, she didn't get too wet though cos she went in the car. My mum is on the sauce already cos she's got to go to bed early cos of getting up for work in the morning, so we won't see the new year in tonight. My mum has got a brandy and coke and she said the brandy is courtesy of you all down there wot Santa Paws brought from you all last year, she says she has saved it for big occasions. Shame it was too wet for some pictures today but hopefully OTL will manage to get a picture of you all when the weather is a bit better. Now I hope Freddie hasn't been reading naughty books, my mum says there's a book around about shades of grey, she hasn't read it though cos she says she don't have time. Well done Mrs TM on your cards for the US show. They know talent out there. Mrs Sue, are we going to see your diary in print this year? My mum has promised herself a Bucks Fizz tomorrow morning, made with the real stuff, just to toast the new year. I hope she isn't going to get too giggly. Enjoy tonight, stay warm and snuggly and I bet there will be some special muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteGreetings to all our friends in the south, including all the Godwins, Little Archie, his mum and boy and Mrs Sue and Mr Mike. We started with a bright day but it has now turned to heavy rain so our mum and dad have decided to stay indoors and not stroll to the local drinking place. They have some fizzy grape juice in the fridge ready to pop open. My mum thinks that TM will fall asleep as soon as she has a few glasses of Bolly and will be in bed by midnight but OTL will go to bed but stay awake to cuddle Holly when the silly TLs let off the whizz bangs...unless TM snores louder then the whizz bangs and Holly can relax.
ReplyDeleteWe hope that Mrs Sue's new diary makes her a famous writer. It sounds like a very interesting book and hope that she shares with us some of her adventures.
Little Arch you may need to keep an eye on your mum if she is on the brandy tonight and bucks fizz tomorrow.
Anyway, we wish you all a very happy new year with lots of scoff and plenty of balls to chase to make you happy and healthy in 2018. Lots of love, sniffs, woofs and licks from Izzy, Hamish, Bella, Tommy, Genie, Lady, Jeanette, Neil, & Molly de Cat xxxx
