Happy New Year Woofers!

Hi Woofers!

It's the first post of 2018 from Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, I don't know how you lot felt this morning but we were all sleepy heads! Old Two Legs and The Missus shared a bottle of Bollinger and TM fell asleep half way through the evening but woke up again to wrestle the bottle from OTL's hands so she could have another glass of bubbly!

The ferrets were awake during the night and were singing ferret songs which none of us really understand!

Holly and I pigged out on the nibbles while we all watched the television!

A good end to 2017!

Down on the beach OTL got some good pictures of the sunrise and clouds.

Morning 2018
Both Eric and May spent most of the time trying to climb up OTL's trouser leg so they can get into the ferret bag.

OTL was mean, he made them both walk back to the car through the long grass that was still wet from the last rain shower!

Back home it seemed that the rest of the day was spent looking at the rain filling up the pond!

The lunchtime walk was delayed until just after three when OTL spotted a 'window' in the rain and we got a thirty minute run on the sea front again.

This time we left the ferrets at home 'cos they don't really do wet grass and deep puddles!

So now we are back home, paws up having a snooze!

See you again tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Don't forget it's 2018!

  1. Yo maties, happy new year to all the paws and legs at Godwin Towers. It's been a rainy day here as well. My mum was glad to get home from work, she only served about 10 customers in 4 hours. My mum made herself a glass of bucks fizz when she got home, she wasn't giggly though but boy did she go to sleep fast. Good job she didn't have to go back to work this afternoon cos the shop was shut so we watched some telly and snuggled up warm on the sofa. Loved the pictures today. Sounds like you had lots of nice treats last night. We went to bed early but the whizz bangs woke us up at midnight but not for long. Hope the whizz bangs didn't bother Holly chops last night. Poor OTL, I hope Mrs TM didn't bruise him when she wrestled the bottle off of him. It sounds to me like them ferrets had a dip in the bottle. Hope you all have a lovely evening, hope the treats are lasting out. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxx

  2. Happy new year to you all, including Archie, his mum, his boy and Mrs boy, not forgetting Jeanette and all the TLs and woofers there and while I am at it, a good 2018 to all your followers Daisy they are special people. We had a house full, well by the look of the number of glasses and plates you would think that but there were six in total, we invited our neighbours from across the road and Margaret with her man friend. Lots of nibbles and wine and as a celebration we had cherry and sultanas scones at midnight, well different anyway as we were supposed to be away in our van I wasn't catering for being at home. Michael is getting better slowly but he pulled his shoulder trying to get some low lying dvd's from a shelf so it put him back. I hope that OTL has recovered from his fall and that wrestling a bottle hasn't upset his recovery, fancy wrestling as injured man, what was she thinking of....... oh yes, I know, the unfinished bottle! Glad you managed to get out between the rain and Eric and May at least got some air, hopefully tomorrow Freddie and Wendy will get a chance. Lovely sunrise picture not keeen on the grey cloud one though. Our new calendar has a sunset which Michael took last January at Queenborough so nice memories. Well first day of year over I have written so far in my new Diary, no mention of washing up but Roland rang and took back Margaret's cheeseboard, enough excitement for one day tomorrow I am going shopping, no let up in excitement here, if you you learn such a varied life! xxxxxx
