Busy Busy!

Yo! Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Wot a busy day today, we were woken up far too early by all the noise being made by The Missus getting ready for her Master Class!

Old Two Legs had his instructions, so, we were set for a busy day!

Down on the beach we had a visit from a reasonably new woofer on the block and she was a sort of cross terrier and spaniel type, crazy as they come!

First she started woofing her tail off and next she tried sniffing my butt without the proper introductions!

That was it, I let her have the full 'warning woof' with snarls and growls thrown in as well!

Soon sorted her out!

It was rather mild down on the beach and the ferrets both had a little dig.

Back home OTL sorted out our chicken but it was all cold, TM just doesn't do it the way OTL does and it wasn't even crispy on the skin!

Mind you, after yesterdays Doggy Scoff we would eat almost anything!

In our garden we have a plant that needs to be trimmed every autumn and this year OTL has left it a bit late but today he not only cleaned up all the leaves in the garden, he also filled two wheelie bins full of the clippings!

He also scraped a load of leaves off the top of the pond and even shoved the grass rake down into the bottom of the pond to get out some of the rotten leaves, PHEW! WOT A STINK!

I can see that soon he is going to clean the pond out and get rid of the stuff at the bottom of the pond, wild life or no!

After that it was walkies time and on the way out we stopped off at the village hall with Eric who wanted to say 'Hello' to Auntie Di!

Auntie Di says that Eric is her favourite and we reckon that is cos he has a 'Cheeky Face'!

Back home again it was time to disconnect the washing machine and drag it out to the front of the house to await the delivery men tomorrow.

It's amazing just how much muck seems to have gathered under the machine, including bits of smashed glass from when TM has dropped glass things!

Still, tomorrow will be fun when OTL installs it all and we get to see our bedding blankets being washed!

See you all tomorrow.

Oh, by the way, there were another three bone biscuits in the Advent Calendar, maybe they change the biscuits after the first week?

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well wot a busy day you had today, all that work Mrs TM left for you all. Hope you're not all worn out. Now I got different biscuits today, I got 2 round ones, much bigger than the little bones, bit like shortbread type rounds with little segments marked on them. Seems my calendar must have been filled by someone different to the person who filled yours and Holly's. Wot a shame I can't have them but my mum is still swapping them for the treat I can have, but today she gave me 2 of my treats which were smaller than the treat in the calendar, I feel I have been swindled. I'm not sure how anyone can pick one ferret to be a favourite out of the 4, they all look cute to me. Good for you reminding that new woofer about manners and etiquette of butt sniffing. It's been a cold damp day here, it's drizzled nearly all day and it's been quite chilly out. My mum has a t-shirt, sweatshirt, jumper, fleece and a cardigan on and we've been snuggled on the sofa under a blanket. My boy came down earlier and he asked my mum where I was, he said he hadn't seen me anywhere and thought I'd been lost. I was laughing my tail off cos my my lifted the blanket and there I was all snuggled up to my mum, hiding. I bet Mrs TM will be really pleased when her new nice and clean arrives tomorrow. I'm sure OTL will get it plumbed in with no problem, well paws crossed anyways. Whose stuff will be going in on the first wash? You'll have to get OTL to give Mrs TM lessons so that she can cook your chicken with the crispy skin. Well I'd better go see if there's any scoff in my bowl yet. Have a lovely evening all and stay warm and snuggly, hope you get some muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

  2. Tomorrow you are going to have New Year's Eve early what with your out with the old and in with the new except yours will be washing machines and not years, hope it all goes well and I remember the new to OTL camera is supposed to arrive as well. Just don't get them mixed up, the camera will not do the doggie blankets well except it might take a nice picture of them! It was nice in Greatstone this morning for our goodbyes but started to rain when we were packing up. Last night was party night with jacket potatoes, chilli beans, cheese, coleslaw, warm mincepies and mulled wine and my team dressed me as a Christmas Tree and we got a box of Milky Bar Buttons to share then we won two raffle prizes, I chose wine and Michael a screw driver set, boring, but he liked it. I hope the new kid on the block learns her manners soon or she will come a cropper. TM all busy with her classes you will need to get her some mufflers for the mornings because you can't keep getting woken early, it is out of order! Archie isn't doing well with his swaps you are lucky to be able to eat up your advent calendar treats and maybe as the month goes on they will get more spectacular. Wishing you a nice mild Monday so that you can all have a beach rampage xxxxxx
