The Washing Machine is here!

Hello Woofers!

The Gangs here! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's been one of those 'Busy but Doing Nothing Days'!

You see Old two Legs has been messing about with bits of paper to feed to the accountant, I'm sure I don't know what he does with them, maybe he eats them!

The Missus has been playing with reams of paper and card that have been delivered ready for the Master Classes!

The ferrets have been trying to get in trouble.

Let me explain. You see OTL had to take the old washing machine out yesterday and that leaves a whacking great hole in the kitchen which, if you are small and furry, you can disappear into and ferret your way around the back of all the appliances in the kitchen. Now, yesterday it didn't matter 'cos the ferrets were in bed when the machine came out but today, there is a big hole and nothing to stop a ferret from having fun!

OTL and TM tried to block the hole up but little May made short work of finding a way through the maze of wire and stuff and disappeared under the fridge in a flash!

It was lucky that the bottom cover comes away 'cos once the ferret is in there, she could go all over the place and even fall asleep behind the cooker!

Any one for roast ferret?

So, the ferrets were banned from the kitchen and the water bowl and some Brambles Biscuits were moved to the lounge where OTL immediately tripped over them an soaked the carpet!

Water and Biscuits were moved back into the kitchen and ended up in the bin!

The machine arrived at lunchtime, just as we were heading off for a walk but the delivery lads were in a rush so the machine came in and the old one got taken away all within five minutes!

The afternoon has been spent on more bits of paper and the washing machine is in the middle of the kitchen floor!

OTL has just gone down stairs with a fist full of tools so we can expect some fun and games when he installs the machine!

We will let you know how it turns out tomorrow!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Hello our southern friends. It sounds like you had a ferrett black hole in your kitchen. I hope OTL can fit thr new one without any incidents and that it doesn't leave any ferret sized holes. We have been getting used to mum leaving us for a few hours in the mornings but we love it when she comes home again and falls asleep on the sofa with a blanket of woofers. We had another exciting find today. Mum had shut us in the kitchen while she went out to fill up the bird feeders. But silly mum didn't shut the door properly and the next minute we were free running around the front garden and with our noses in the bird food. It was great fun...and then I gave a really loud warning bark for I had spotted 2 sneaky partridges hiding in the hedge by our front gate. Mum spoilt our fun, shooing us in as she went and got them down. Yes the woofers next door have been to work again and brought back tonight dinner. So now mum is burried in country cook books. She keeps muttering spatchcock and plucking...well I think that's what she said. We're all keeping out of the way as she's got that big sharp knife out again. Hope you get some clean blankets now you've got that new washing machine and if it all goes well TM might sort OTLs underpants into the right pile. Love, sniffs, wags and woofs from Izzy and the gang xx xxxxx

  2. Sounds like fun and games all round with two partridges thrown into the mix, there is only one to be found in a pear tree not in your front garden. OTL does have big feet fancy kicking over the ferrets water bowl, mind you he is quite tall so I suppose the ground is further away from his nose! I hope the new washing machine plumbing goes well so TM can stay awake all night doing the washing. I opened the door of the understairs cupboard in the kitchen and the kick board of the sink and freezer fell off, I wasn't near it, so my kitchen is falling apart around me and I still have to cook dinner. I hope you did a role call before the new machine went in, you never know? xxxxxx

    1. A role call sounds like a very good idea, Sue. OTL must be like the BFG with his big feet so far from the ground.xoxo

  3. Yo gang. Well it sounds like a busy day doing ferret counting to me. Are they all accounted for? Hope there aren't any AWOL. I've had a busy day guarding, no partridges here just some old crows up in the tree. Now today I got a new biscuit in my calendar, it was a big thick one and my mum gave me 4 of my bits of biscuit in exchange for it. I was quite impressed. I'm off to get my butt checked again tomorrow, it's a tad itchy so my mum reckons I might need my glands emptying. I don't want an itchy butt over Xmas now do I. Hope OTL gets the machine sorted so Mrs TM can have a play with it. Poor Mrs Sue with her kitchen falling apart around her, perhaps Santa Paws might send an elf to mend it for her. I like it when my mum comes home from work as well, it's nice to snuggle up. I bet Izzy and the gang will miss their mum when she goes back to work. Roast ferret sounds alright to me, does it taste like chicken? I bet Mrs TM is super excited and can't wait to play with her new nice and clean. I'm having a day off from guarding tomorrow, so that means I'll be having a lay in with my mum and snuggling up in the warm for a bit longer. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm and hope you get some nice muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxx

    1. Michael said that I am to tell you that "little Michael has mended my kitchen" he had to lay on the floor to do it and then struggled to get up so I think the elves would have found it easier. 🍻

    2. Maybe the elves could have helped Michael up .......... as long as its mended though cos when you leave the plate of biscuits and drink of milk for Santa Paws, he wouldn't want them to drop because the top had broken. ........... little Arch x
