Do you get the feeling Winter is here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

This morning first thing it was rather mild, in fact, it was very nice walking along the beach and dashing along the Sea Wall. The wind was gently blowing in from Essex and the sky showed us that there was a 'Front' coming in!

Looks like it could be cold when that from reaches us!
We didn't hang around 'cos Holly Chops had an appointment with the vet this morning to see about her eyes.

I didn't go with her 'cos Old Two Legs said that I 'Wound Her Up'. Me? As if!

Well, the vet had a look and poked around and OTL had to give a history of Conjunctivitis and Holly. After about three minute's the vet agree to dispense the eye stuff Holly had before and they were kicked out to pay the bill!

OTL was sobbing all the way home, he reckons he should retrain and become a vet and be rich!

Back home there was a gigantic bowl of chicken waiting for us both and we both ended up with rather big tummies!

We were late in getting out at lunchtime, in fact it was nearer afternoon than midday before we set paw out of the door!

The 'Front' had arrived, there was a stiff breeze blowing in from Essex and it was making our eyes water!

We turned to head up to the beach and with the wind blowing our tails about OTL was muttering about having to go back!

Cold enough to freeze your butt off!
We soon found out what he was talking about, it was not nice! OTL was saying that it felt as though his eyeballs had frozen solid!

He spent all the time walking back with his eyes closed!

Com on OTL, just follow my voice!
It wasn't until we got back to the car that he was able to open his eyes!

OTL has spent the afternoon on the telephone and computer making it look like he was doing something important!

Now, as you read yesterday, Mrs Sue is visiting us next week and wanted to know what to bring, well, a couple of small suggestions!

20 x Crispy Skinned Chickens
10 x Beef Steak, medium rare
4 x Well stuffed Turkeys (Crispy Skinned)
24 x Packs of Teeth Cleaning Chews
14 x Raw Hide Chews
10 x Fresh Carrots, all crunchy like.
4 x Packs of Bonio Biscuits

I'm sure to think of some more but I don't want to look greedy!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Well it's been very cold here all day, in fact every time I go out it freezes my little butt. Hope Holly chops eyes get better very quickly or she won't be able to see what Santa paws has brought her for Xmas very well. I bet she was a good girl at the vets but I reckon she would have felt happier having you there as moral support and ready to bite the vet if he scared her. Maybe OTL needs to wear some sun glasses when he goes out to protect him from the wind. Now that's a nice little list you've done for Mrs Sue but you forgot the partridge in the pear tree. Everyone knows at Xmas you have to have a partridge in a pear tree. I hope she manages to bring you wot you've got on your list. Glad to hear you got decent scoff today, about time as well .......... Mrs TM ..... Santa Paws is watching you!!!!!! Lovely pictures today. We've got visitors tomorrow, Auntie Marianne and Uncle Steve are popping up to see us, that means lots of cuddles and fuss. Hope Mrs TM has a good time at her crop tomorrow, I hear that there will be things going on and lots of scoff to eat, make sure you get a look in and go visit. Hope you all have a lovely, snuggly, warm evening. I'm staying snuggled up with my mum, she gets me in a big bear hug and keeps me nice and warm. Have a good day tomorrow all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxxx

  2. We went out delivery Christmas cards in the morning and it wasn't too cold even when we arrived at my friends for lunch but when we left at 3pm to go and see her Churches' Christmas Tree Festival it was freezing. Very pretty trees, one from the Medway Food Bank had little tins of soup, beans and spaghetti, packets of breakfast cereals and gravy granules and so on. Lots of blue in your pictures today but there was that cold front heading our way. Holly managed not to eat the vet, it would have cost more money so thankfully the OTL was spared the medical expenses bill as well as the cost of the eye drops. He needs to wear some sort of goggles so protect his eyes from the cold like the skiers wear! Maybe you could get him some for an early Christmas present. Now the list, I have read it and have a budget per person/creature of 2s 6d each, this means 5s for you and Holly so I shall go to the shops and see how far down I get with the list. Of course, if I don't buy OTL, TM, Wendy, May, Freddy and Eric anything I could go to £1, this will get me further down the list.
Glad you enjoyed your crispy chicken today that was a nice surprise and I bet your tummies were full and you all sleepy afterwards. Make sure you get to the Christmas Crop tomorrow, there's bound to be lots of cuddles and nibbles but make sure the ferrets don't get a look in. I will be back tomorrow to see how you got on. xxxxxx
