T'was The Day After Christmas.........!

Ho, Ho, Ho, Woofers!

Us, back again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, I hope you all had a good Christmas like wot we have had!

We got up to Martin & Lisa's house on Christmas Eve and re-investigated the park around the corner from their house. There were loads of sniffs from the local woofers. So, Holly and I added our sniff, just to let them know we are about!

Christmas day was great, except for Old Two Legs who had managed to fall down the last step of the stairs! He's got a bruised knee and leg plus some very tender ribs!

Holly worked out what the cause of him falling over.

It wasn't the booze 'cos he hadn't had any, it was the number of steps! You see he quite often walks down our stairs at home, not looking at where he puts his feet, but, there are thirteen steps on our stairs and his brain knows that without thinking, having gone up and down so many years, but, in Martins house there are fourteen steps, so when he thinks he has reached the bottom, there is still one step to go and OTL took the last step, missed his footing and crashed to the floor!

He is still all sore and hurting but a couple of pain killers every so often and a good slurp of the Single Malt plus the Shortbread Archie Babe send down will sort him out!

We got loads of presents, chews from Izzy and The Gang and Treats and Chews from Archie and there were some socks for OTL as well! There was a Naughty Woofer Calender that The Missus has pinched for her office, it has naughty woofers getting into all sorts of trouble! The presents we loved were the squeaky ones, just as someone passed us by we would hit the squeaky and make them think they had trodden on one of the Four Paws in the house!

Have you ever seen a Two Legs jump? Dead funny!

You know we had four ferrets and three dogs! There was Cookie who is a King Charles Whatsit who gets all upset when she thinks that you are pinching her grub, which Holly and I did!

Yesterday we got home rather late so we didn't get to do the blog, so, sorry about that!

Down the beach today it was freezing, I mean, like wot with the cold and the wind it was well below freezing and OTL was complaining about frozen eyeballs as well!

Wot a wimp!

Mind you, Holly was singing a carol called 'In the Bleak Cold Winter'!

Bleak with threats of snow!
Eric and May came out with us, OTL carried them for a short way until they both wriggled down and into the Ferret Bag, May came up for a breath of air, decided it was still too cold and went back!

Eric didn't get out until he was back in the car and the heater was turned on fully!

Any more of that and I'll have icicles up my nose!
Of course lunch time it was just Holly and I and I must say, it was a quick walk!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. I'm pleased you had a good Xmas and that Santa Paws found you all cos you wasn't at home, isn't he clever. I hope OTL feels much better soon, tell him to stay on the nightcaps and shortbread. Now when I have visitors I'm pleased to share my scoff with them (or that's wot my mum tells me I have to do). I'm half cavalier you know and as you know the other half is oodle. Sounds like you got a good haul from Santa. You must have been very good. I didn't do too bad myself, I got a new ferret so Mr Nipper now has a friend, we're training it to be good with the electric prod, just like we taught Mr Nipper. I got a ball that flashes and a puzzle ball and my teddy bear wot I got my mum to buy me at the vets. Hope there are no grumbly tums in your house, mine is much better now. My mum has got a bottle of champagne for Xmas and some stamps and ink and some other crafting goodies. My boy got a good haul and Mrs Boy bought him a dressing gown with a hood on it to keep him warm. My mum says my boy looks like OB1 in it. I hear Izzy and the gang all had a good Xmas as well. Hope the ferrets got a good haul from Santa Paws. It's snowed here today, I wasn't very happy cos it hid my garden again but it's rained now so some of it has gone away. I'm waiting for my boy to come home from work so we can have some wrestles. I had great fun helping to open the presents, I'm really good at it you know, I can get the paper off in a jiffy. Milly is going into the vets tomorrow to be speyed so I expect she'll be a bit sore tomorrow evening, we'll keep our paws crossed that she's not too sore. Hope you all have a lovely snuggly evening with plenty of muggings. Hope the weather is warmer tomorrow and OTL doesn't get his eyeballs frozen again. Glad to see you back and doing your blog, I did miss it. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch, Mr Nipper and Nipper jnr. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. So much news to tell, you have had a lovely pressie Christmas by the sound of it and now Martin's park has some Holly/Daisy sniffs as well. Michael said there was no need for OTL to fall down, copying him may be a form of flattery but does not help his shoulder and ribs! He is down to painkillers three times a day instead of four and has been driven to Walderslade, Hempstead and Maidstone but wouldn't feel safe driving himself. We had some slept today but nothing like other parts of the country, glad you got back without a problem. Because we couldn't go to Ashford yesterday Ian, Claire and Daisy Girl came to us as a surprise, lovely to see them. ❤️. You all stay warm tomorrow I need to go out for some odds and ends so I want dry and sunshine, can you arrange it for me? Don't eat all those treats at once our you will be on a diet as well, you have been warned. xxxxxx
