No Snow Here but it's Freezing!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, yesterday it was cold and windy, not very nice, but today, sunshine and frost as cold, but no wind!

Not as cold as it looks!

We were a little late in getting out but the sun had only just got up but the frost was all over the place.

The ferrets had decided to pass on today's walk so Holly and I could get a gallop on!

Speed sniffing in the frosty grass!
The beach was all frosty and cold, even the seaweed was frosty!

Frosty seaweed and crispy sand!
Back home the ferrets were out rampaging around the house until they fell asleep and it was Old Two Legs job to winkle them out of the inside of the sofa and put them back to bed!

Lunchtime the frost had mostly gone but it was still cold and the sky was still blue. This sort of weather makes it all clean and crisp, that is until the clouds come back and we get rain or snow!

Just look at that blue sky!

We have watched the news and it seems there is snow all over the place! Down here in North Kent we saw some snow flakes late yesterday but nothing since.

Holly said that she wanted some snow just to see what the ferrets made of it, we reckon they would have a great time diving in and out of snow drifts!

Trouble is, down here there is no snow forecast in the near future, so it's back to the frosty grass again!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well Holly can have any snow I get if she wants it, we have a forecast of snow apparently, so I'll tell it to woof off and come down your way. It was very icy here this morning, me and my mum slid round on my walk. I was wearing my fleece cos it was very cold and I really don't like the cold very much. My mum went to work this afternoon and she heard from Brenda that little Milly is now home and her operation went well, Milly was snoozing away when my mum phoned. My boy came home from work at 5 so we had a wrestle until my mum got home. My boy is off work now until after the new year so I'll have company when my mum works and he can share the guarding with me. Loved the pictures today. Hope OTL isn't as sore as he was, is he getting over his trip? Now is he sure that it was one extra step and not one extra nip of the hard stuff that caused him to trip? Well I'd better go get my scoff before Nipper jnr decides to pinch it. Have a lovely snuggly evening all, hope the muggings are good. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch, Mr Nipper and Nipper jnr. xxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Archie we do not want snow here and if Holly wants it then perhaps she could do a B&B with you and you could send her home with some in an ice box to show the ferrets. We haven't gone away because firstly Michaels' trip but then we would not have gone after seeing snow in Bristol because we were going to Shepton Mallet in that direction, about 140 miles from here and we would not want to get stuck there. As it is one bit of snow and we can't leave our cul de sac, not good to be out in the rain. Lovely pictures in that light today, I had a chuckle at the ferrets dozing off in the sofa whereas you doze on the sofa. Keep warm supposed to rain tomorrow, we are having a Chinese Takeaway, our turn to host so I defrost a gateaux and lay the table and at the appointed hour our friends arrive having picked up the order on the way. That's the way to do it! I will call back again tomorrow to see what you have been up to and will think of you when eating my prawn quackers xxxxxx
