A Sad News Day.

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

We were up a little late today so we didn't catch the sunrise but we did catch the sun poking it's nose from behind the clouds.

We can Seeee Yoooo!
It was OK but to get to the beach we had to get across some puddles that arrived last night when the rain came down!

Old Two Legs slept all the way through the rain and wind and he didn't wake up until late!

Holly ended up getting her paws wet!
Down on the beach there was a load of sea weed washed up on the rocks, Holly reckons it was the high winds and rain that washed it all down river!

Tomorrow it will all be gone!
Lunchtime we heard some sad news from Harrietsham Ferret Rescue, our little star ferret, Rufus, who came into the rescue centre with some serious problems and benefited from the kind support from the Allhallows Croppers and his medical bills were paid from the 'Cardathon' event and the donation from the weekends fun and games.

He enjoyed two years with the rescue centre and got to live with several lady ferrets!

On Christmas Day he had his dinner and went to sleep but unfortunately he didn't wake up on Boxing Day. We think it was old age that got him in the end but because of the care and attention he received at the rescue centre his life was extended another two years, all because of the Allhallows Croppers.

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties. Well that is very sad news about Rufus, we all remember him here and were so glad that he got the treatment he needed. We are pleased that he had a good life at the ferret rescue and I bet they will miss him very much. I expect all the ladies at Mrs TM's crops and workshops will be very sad but they did a good thing and raised the money for his treatment so he will be remembered by lots of ladies and he got to live with lots of lady ferrets as well, so I reckon he had a good time while he was there and was very much loved by lots. Loved the photos today, very moody. That wind blew and blew last night, I can't remember when it blew so much. I really didn't want to go out in the garden at all last night but my cruel mum made me. I've been home alone this afternoon cos my mum and my boy were at work but my mum is home all day tomorrow and my boy will be home all day on Friday so I'll have cuddles and wrestles to look forward to. Hope you all have a good evening with plenty of muggings. Stay warm and snuggly. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Ah sad news about Rufus but good news that he enjoyed two years of care, love and life thanks to money that was raised, on his behalf, "thank you" xx.
I had a surprise today after Michael went to Mote Park with Robert, there was a ring at the door and it was Daisy Girl with her dad, Ian, she goes back to school tomorrow and they were on their way to Bluewater to get a bigger swimsuit for Claire, she is very slim so I don't know what size he had bought her. He had helped Michael choose a dressing gown for me and fortunately I have long arms so you could see three finger tips below the sleeves! Not a good judge of size I would say!
The sun has been practising today by going in and out but no snow like north Florida so that is good. Have a good Thursday, get OTL up earlier, I hope TMs mid week crop night goes well, have fun xxxxxx
